Chapter 1006: Chapter 1005: Entering Meditation
In the Alchemy College, all the higher-ups or the lowest-ranking disciples believed that alchemy was the most important aspect of their lives, for alchemy could make them stand out, turn them into important figures, and earn them respect.
However, in Yusuf Zuck’s mind, alchemy was dispensable; it was the Cultivation Realm he yearned for the most.
Putting aside everything else, just the fact that he possessed nine Nascent Souls alone was notable. If his Cultivation Realm also reached the second grade of the Great Luo, then he could effortlessly annihilate peers of the same level and even challenge those of the Taiyi realm.
Therefore, the Cultivation Realm was not trivial; besides owning the Blood Beads, he also had unique and Supreme conditions, so there was no reason for him not to become even more powerful.
And so, he had no plans to return to the Alchemy College to concoct any pills. As long as Sect Head or Jack Gardner didn’t come looking for him, he would just cultivate with the female tyrannosaur, because he had also realized that the female tyrannosaur was a truly good teacher, with a very unique method of instruction.
Writing on the water, though inconceivable, was a method of cultivation full of challenge, which was what Yusuf Zuck enjoyed the most. He wanted to challenge himself and see if writing on the water was mere fantasy.
The Taiyi Cultivating God Art was undoubtedly a Supreme Divine Power for cultivating the spirit. Yusuf Zuck, standing on the water’s surface, did not rush to copy it but carefully began to read.
By dawn, he had finished reading the Taiyi Cultivating God Art but still couldn’t understand what this genius was talking about regarding the Art of Cultivating God. He said that the human spirit was invisible and intangible, and that the spirit was also a person’s thoughts. Once your thoughts were as firm as a boulder, once your thoughts reached a state where they couldn’t be disturbed by thousands of evils, and where nothing could break them, then wherever your thoughts made an impression, that place would become your Spiritual Domain. Inside this Realm, you controlled everything.
It was profound, and at least for now, Yusuf Zuck found it difficult to understand.
Of course, Yusuf Zuck also knew that this was a new discipline, a new discovery. His lack of understanding did not mean that the others were incorrect; after all, everyone has different thoughts, and his own interpretation of words differed from that of others.
After reading it one more time, he did not continue to ponder the meaning behind the Taiyi Cultivating God Art, because the female demon head had tasked him with writing on water. Thus, the task he faced now was to write characters on the water’s surface without dispersing.
He tried writing the character ’Tai’ swiftly with his finger across the water’s surface but, despite his quickness, the character started to dissipate before he even finished writing it.
He increased his speed, writing the character ’Tai’ again at his fastest pace, and indeed, the shape of the character appeared on the water. However, in the blink of an eye, the ’Tai’ character continued to vanish!
If he couldn’t even keep one character formed and stationary on the water’s surface, how could he expect to write all the characters from an entire book?
"Unless I use speed that surpasses the limit, quickly writing all the characters across the lake surface at a speed millions of times faster than the water can ripple together. Or perhaps, if I could freeze time, but that would be akin to cheating; to myself, it would mean deceiving myself," he thought.
Yusuf Zuck stood on the lake, his mind ceaselessly searching for a way to write on water. He also recalled passages from the Taiyi Cultivating God Art and even thought back to the scenes he had witnessed during his Ascension, images of the Dao!
Unknowingly, he fell into a deep silence, engrossed in arduous contemplation.
"Has he entered a meditative state?" Aiden Wilkinson, the White-Haired Witch inside the wooden hut, had been secretly observing Yusuf Zuck. When she noticed that he was crouching motionless on the lake’s surface, with his aura becoming peaceful and serene, she surprisingly stood up.
Entering into a meditative state was a method of cultivation. Some people could not achieve it even after months or a year of solitary sitting, as it involved deep meditation of the soul, with almost no perception of the outside world.
Often, those who could enter a meditative state quickly were proving to be cultivation geniuses, madmen of cultivation. Whereas those who sat for many days and still couldn’t enter it were likely to be mediocre.
The quick meditative state entered by Zayden Newton made her realize that Zayden Newton was indeed a talent with potential. Putting aside Zayden Newton’s character for a moment, just considering his mindset in pursuing cultivation and his serious attitude towards tasks, Zayden Newton seemed to be someone who wouldn’t rest until he achieved his goals.
"Hehe, will you bring me a surprise?" Aiden Wilkinson mused with a light smile. Then, she softly exited the wooden hut and stood in the courtyard.
In a twinkling of an eye, eleven days had passed, and throughout these eleven days, Yusuf Zuck hadn’t moved a muscle while crouching on the lake’s surface. Aiden Wilkinson, too, had remained motionless in the courtyard, as though she were also cultivating.
An eccentric old man approached the lakeside, slinking about like a thief, with his head tucked in and his clothes stained, looking as though it had been days since he had washed his face.
Aiden Wilkinson’s eyes shot open, and with a quick tap of her toes, she suddenly appeared before Rafael Case.
Indeed, the visitor was Rafael Case. After not seeing Yusuf Zuck for over a dozen days, he began to miss him and had matters to discuss with him.
"Greetings to Senior Aiden..." Rafael Case immediately knelt down, aware of the high esteem of Aiden Wilkinson’s seniority, so he dared not be negligent.
"Quiet, no shouting!" Aiden Wilkinson scolded in a low voice.
"Yes, yes, yes." Rafael Case nodded repeatedly.
"Are you Rafael Case?" Aiden Wilkinson had seen Rafael Case before, but the memory was not vivid, as this cowardly man did not warrant her Dharma Eye’s notice.
"Yes, yes, yes, I am disciple Rafael Case." Rafael Case continued to nod.
"What are you here for?" Aiden Wilkinson asked.
"I came to find... find... find my junior uncle." Rafael Case said, "Tomorrow, the Sect will organize an expedition to the Spirit Realm, and my junior uncle is eligible to participate. I wanted to ask him if he’s going."
"He’s not going, you can go back."
"Then what is he squatting there for? He looks like a fool... uh... haha, what is he squatting there for?" Rafael Case dared not say the word "fool," so he just laughed awkwardly.
"Scram, don’t let me see you again!" Aiden Wilkinson was somewhat repulsed by this filthy old man, so with a sweep of her sleeve, Rafael Case was sent flying away.
Just as she dispatched Rafael Case, Aiden Wilkinson’s eyebrows couldn’t help but rise.
A graceful young man appeared from nowhere in the distance, smiling and looking at her.
"What are you here for?" Aiden Wilkinson frowned.
"Tomas, tomorrow’s the day for the Spirit Realm expedition. Didn’t we agree that you would go too? We can set off now!" The youth was handsome and free-spirited, with an extraordinary bearing; most importantly, he didn’t have the slightest air of the mortal world, looking like a quiet scholar.
"I’m not going anymore, you can leave." Aiden Wilkinson shook her head.
"Not going?" The youth was startled for a moment and looked at Aiden Wilkinson strangely, "Didn’t you sign up? Why are you not going now?"
"If I want to go, I go; if I don’t want to go, I don’t go. You can leave, don’t come near my Sun Moon Lake!" Aiden Wilkinson spoke and swiftly flew back to the wooden cabin.
When the youth followed Aiden Wilkinson’s gaze, he was shocked to find that someone was squatting on the shore, their posture not very elegant, yet their breathing was incredibly steady, clearly in meditation.
"Oh? Luke Gardner’s Closed-door Disciple? A Fourth-Level Pill Master of the Heavenly Immortal Ninth Grade?" The youth raised his eyebrows slightly, and at the same time, he instantly understood why Aiden Wilkinson was not heading to the Spirit Realm.
"Hmph, a Pill Master not properly engaging in Alchemy, instead wasting Tomas’s time here? Hindering our joint exploration of the Spirit Realm? Despicable!" The youth muttered to himself, and then suddenly stamped his right foot while shouting, "Wake up!"
"Boom~" Following his stomp, a surge of energy burst forth like lightning, heading straight toward Yusuf Zuck, who was squatting on the surface of the lake!
"Bang~" The water under Yusuf Zuck’s feet burst up like a water column, abruptly awakening him from his meditation.
"Dillon Meskill, what are you doing?" Aiden Wilkinson never expected Dillon Meskill to pick a fight with a junior fellow practitioner, forcibly waking someone in meditation, so her killing intent suddenly surged!
However, at that moment, Yusuf Zuck, who was launched high by the water column, seemed not to see Dillon Meskill at all. Instead, he quickly descended back to the lake’s surface, his hands sweeping vehemently to both sides!
"Whoosh~" The rippling surface of the lake suddenly smoothed out as if it were paper being flattened under his stroke; the waves disappeared in an instant as Yusuf Zuck used his fingers as a brush to swiftly write characters upon the water’s surface.
Aiden Wilkinson suddenly found herself with her mouth half open, and Dillon Meskill had his eyebrows arched in surprise!
