Due to Ye Fan often going back to Hua Hai on weekends, Cui Wenwen and Shangguan Wuqiu wanted to invite him for a meal, which had to be arranged on a weeknight.

After picking up some fruit as a present on the way, Ye Fan drove to Cui Wenwen and Shangguan Wuqiu’s home for the meal.

For Ye Fan’s visit, Shangguan Wuqiu was sure to prepare a table full of sumptuous dishes.

After the meal and a short rest, since Cui Wenwen still had to attend her evening self-study session, Ye Fan also got up to say goodbye and took the opportunity to drive Wenwen to school.

Ye Fan drove and stopped the car in front of Mingde High School’s main gate. Cui Wenwen, sitting in the passenger seat, turned her sweet smiling face towards Ye Fan and said, “Cousin, see you.”

“Mum, goodbye.” She then turned to call out to the back of the car.

Ye Fan and Shangguan Wuqiu responded in succession.

Cui Wenwen got out of the car, and after entering the school gates, Ye Fan turned the car around and then headed towards Yinxing Avenue in the center of Mingde County.

“Ye Fan, I’m so sorry to trouble you to shop with me,” Shangguan Wuqiu said from the back.

Ye Fan smiled and shook his head as he drove: “Heh heh, don’t mention it. I always enjoy shopping with a beauty.”

Before long, they reached the square on Yinxing Avenue.

Shangguan Wuqiu followed on Ye Fan’s right side and said, “I’ll tell you something, don’t laugh, but ever since the last time I had a dangerous encounter in Hua Hai City and you saved me, I haven’t dared to stroll the night market again.”

“Mingde County is too small to keep you,” Ye Fan said. “A bustling metropolis like Hua Hai City is where you belong.”

The two chatted and walked along the streets, and as they moved closer to the busiest area, the crowd became denser.

It was then that Shangguan Wuqiu stealthily slid her hand through Ye Fan’s right arm, and as the crowd became tighter, she pressed closer against him.

“We’ve finished looking around, shall we head back or take another round?” Ye Fan asked Shangguan Wuqiu.

Shangguan Wuqiu turned her head to glance at the night scenery around her and said, “I don’t want to go back yet, but there’s no need for another round. Take me for a drive instead.”

So, the two got back into the car, with Shangguan Wuqiu sitting in the passenger seat.

Since it was a drive, they couldn’t go through the bustling streets, so Ye Fan drove to a less crowded ring road around the city.

Half an hour later, though the car was slow, they had circled the town and then stopped on a quiet lawn beside the ring road.

The car stopped, and Shangguan Wuqiu unbuckled her seat belt, turned her body, and sat on Ye Fan’s lap, her arms tightly wrapped around Ye Fan’s neck, frantically seeking his kisses.

Ye Fan didn’t resist, responding to Shangguan Wuqiu.

After a bout of heated kissing, Shangguan Wuqiu breathed heavily and said, “Ye Fan, take me. I don’t want you to take any responsibility.”

“Mmm,” Ye Fan replied.

Hearing Ye Fan’s agreement, Shangguan Wuqiu immediately became even more passionate and resumed kissing him feverishly.
