“Good to know you understand,” Zhao Lina huffed arrogantly, then turned on her heel and strode towards the restaurant’s entrance.

The moment she turned, Ye Fan clearly saw the full curve swing and create a round wave.

Taking a few steps forward, Zhao Lina realized Ye Fan hadn’t immediately followed and stopped.

Turning her head, she called out, “What are you spacing out for?!”

Ye Fan snapped out of it, smiled, and caught up.

When he reached Zhao Lina’s side and walked shoulder to shoulder with her, Zhao Lina suddenly reached out to hook his arm.

Ye Fan stiffened slightly, then turned his head to look at Zhao Lina.

Zhao Lina also turned her head, flashed him a smile, and said, “We’re just here to eat, don’t bring up anything else.”

“Alright,” Ye Fan laughed, not believing he couldn’t be as easy-going as Zhao Lina.

Without further reservations, he walked to the dining building with Zhao Lina, bickering playfully as usual.

Entering the five-star hotel’s dining building, they chose a private booth and ordered Australian snowflake steak, French foie gras, Russian caviar, and a pair of deep-sea wild lobsters weighing over three pounds, along with two bottles of Germany’s Rheingau, one of the world’s top three noble rot wines.

The elegant and soothing piano music flowed through the room like moonlight on water.

Sitting opposite each other, Ye Fan and Zhao Lina quietly joked and bantered while cutting their steaks, occasionally raising their glasses of golden noble rot wine for a toast.

After the meal, both Ye Fan and Zhao Lina felt very pleased.

Ye Fan had almost forgotten about the matter he needed to confess to Zhao Lina.

Leaving the restaurant, Zhao Lina, with her arm in Ye Fan’s, suggested as they headed toward the parking lot, “Ye Fan, shouldn’t we go watch a movie now?”

“Sure,” Ye Fan replied, “But I’m not sure what’s good at this time.”

Zhao Lina tilted her head and thought for a moment, then giggled, “Hehe, I’ve heard ‘Dragon Seeking Spell’ is quite popular lately, let’s go watch that.”

“That seems like a tomb-raiding movie, might be scary,” said Ye Fan.

Zhao Lina tightened her grip on Ye Fan’s arm a little and laughed, “But I have you with me, don’t I?”

When they reached their car, Zhao Lina said, “I won’t be using my car.

Let’s just leave it here, save some gas.”

Ye Fan nodded in agreement; he too didn’t want to cool the mood by driving separate cars.

And so, Ye Fan got into his car, and Zhao Lina took the passenger seat, then they drove off.

“Which theater?” asked Ye Fan as they exited the parking lot.

Zhao Lina replied, “Huan Yi Cinema.

The environment and facilities there are pretty good.”

Ye Fan acknowledged and drove toward Huan Yi Cinema.

The cinema was not far from the five-star hotel where they had eaten; it took them just about ten minutes to arrive.

Coincidentally, Ye Fan and Zhao Lina managed to catch the 1:20 PM showing and bought two “couples’ couch” movie tickets.

They smoothly entered the movie screening room, found the couple’s couch that matched their tickets, and sat down.

As the movie started, it was indeed a bit scary.

It wasn’t clear whether Zhao Lina was genuinely frightened or just pretending, but she immediately cuddled into Ye Fan’s embrace.

Ye Fan’s hand naturally found its way around Zhao Lina’s slender, soft waist, pulling her voluptuous body close.

The movie lasted two hours, and for nearly that entire time, Ye Fan held Zhao Lina in his arms.

Once the movie ended, and they stepped out of the theater, Ye Fan asked, “Where to next?

Shop around the mall?”

As Zhao Lina linked arms with Ye Fan, she glared at him and said, “Is shopping the only thing in your brain?

Don’t you know any other places to go?”

Ye Fan gave a wry smile.

He wasn’t exactly the playful type, and after thinking for a while, he suggested, “How about we go to Yonghui Club?

I’m not sure if it’s busy right now though.”

“The famous gold mine of Hua Hai City?” Zhao Lina immediately shook her head and objected, “No way, my identity is too sensitive.

It’s not appropriate.”

Checking out the weather, which was sunny with little wind, Ye Fan proposed, “Then how about we take a stroll in the park or square?”

“Hehe, that sounds good,” Zhao Lina responded cheerfully with a laugh.

So, Ye Fan drove Zhao Lina to the Huahai City Botanical Garden.

The botanical garden was vast, not very crowded, and comparatively tranquil and secluded, offering a variety of plants to view.

Even though it was already winter and many plants were withered, not the best season for a botanical garden visit, Ye Fan and Zhao Lina enjoyed themselves thoroughly, with much delight and happiness.

They strolled around until past six in the evening before they started feeling hungry.

Only then did they drive back to the five-star hotel where they had lunch for a meal.

After dinner, when Ye Fan thought the much-anticipated evening activities would finally commence, Zhao Lina said, “I remember you often go to KTV.

Shouldn’t you take me to play at KTV as well?”

Ye Fan was slightly embarrassed.

He had been in Hua Hai City for nearly half a year, but he could count the number of times he had gone to KTV on his fingers.

And ironically, there were two instances when a fight broke out, and Zhao Lina had to take him back to the police station.

“Haha, I do have to take you to KTV for some fun,” Ye Fan chuckled.

“I am the prince of love songs, you know.”

“As if, a prince of love songs like you?

That’s just annoying!” Zhao Lina scoffed, giving Ye Fan a disdainful look.

“It would be more accurate if I said I’m the queen of music.”

Following that, they drove to KTV.

This time, Zhao Lina didn’t ride with Ye Fan but took her own car instead.

About fifteen minutes later, Zhao Lina, arm in arm with Ye Fan, entered a fancy KTV and booked a mini couple’s room.

After red wine, beverages, snacks, retail, and a fruit platter were all brought in, Zhao Lina shut the door to the room, locked it, then turned around to face Ye Fan, who was seated on the couch.

Ye Fan thought she would go select songs, but unexpectedly, Zhao Lina walked straight over to him and sat down next to him on the couch.

“Let’s drink a bit first, then we can show off our singing skills,” said Zhao Lina.

Ye Fan smiled, opened a bottle of red wine with practiced hands, and poured two glasses.

“Clink—”

Their wine glasses gently touched, the red wine within lightly swirled, and then they sipped from their respective glasses.

After downing one glass of red wine, Zhao Lina’s pretty face couldn’t help but blush with a faint rosy hue.

She set down her glass and suddenly straddled Ye Fan’s lap, draping her arms around his neck.

“It’s always you who forcefully kisses me.

This time, it’s my turn to forcefully kiss you!” she declared fiercely, then leaned in toward Ye Fan’s mouth.
