And then the day came.

The uniting of the Jayden Cole’s ladies.

Jayden already made all preparations in the Cole villa, hiring the best of cooks, servers and every aspect needed in the building. The best of them.

Temi was the first to arrive. Of course she was supposed to because he had been the one living with Jayden all these while. Although unlike Camilia and Paula, she knew nothing about the invites of the other women.

She didn’t even know he had other women, to be literal.

That was hell of an issue, but Jayden was sure that things would go smoothly today, just like the other day with Camilia and Paula.

And the next, it was Harper who arrived excitedly with a taxi. Jayden figured he’d need to buy her a car, but he sensed that she had been keeping low with her identity.

He judged that it was because of protection reasons, so she might not get traced by the people who had plotted her family’s extinction, until she was ready for her revenge.

As she walked into the large, golden living room, she approached Jayden as they had a quick kiss.

Temi noticed them at once but didn’t say a word, but her stare on them was pretty cold. Even Harper had a questioning look of who Temi was, but didn’t say a word either.

They both settled.

It didn’t take long before the rest of the ladies arrived.

Paula arrived few minutes after Harper.

Charlotte arrived next, with her mind-blowing curvaceous body captivating every around...

Becky arrived with Corey just next, and the other ladies was surprised to see her there. She was now a big celebrity in the country and even being heard around the world.

It was their pleasure to meet her, but not really after they saw her kissing their man and watched him wrapped his hands around her waist as he embraced her.

Harper: "Something is wrong."

Charlotte: "Why is he kissing her? Ain’t I his only woman? Or was he playing games with me?"

Paula: "You said there are only two more, Jayden! I’m seeing four here!"

The room was tense, but Jayden, who was now being seen as the devil here, was calm and collected as his welcomed his ladies.

"He is still acting like he is expecting more. How many more are coming?" Paula thought as she began panicking inwardly..

"Jayden lied to me. Oh Gosh," Temi muttered as she had her face dark all through the time.

Soon, the last figure arrived.

As if like the big deal being waited for, she stepped in majestically with a gorgeous sleek black dress, more like someone who looked like the daughter of the king.

She glanced around the room, scanning every figure.

Jayden approached her for a kiss but then...

She made him pause.

"You said there were only two more. I see four," Camilia glared as she spoke.

"Yes. I... I know. There were two, until purpose made me find two more. Trust me, my love for you still remains unshaken," Jayden said as smiled at her.

He then progressed to give a kiss when she suddenly pushed him slightly and walked over to sit on a couch, alone.

It was clear that she wasn’t happy about it, not when she was putting all her family’s fortune at stake to have him to herself...

Jayden understood, but he clearly knew what he was doing... No, maybe he should just say that the system knew what it was doing.

Jayden urged them to move to the grand dinning room where they had the best of meals. It was the best way to give them a bright face before would go straight to the point.

He just hoped everything would go as planned today, or else, he’d be cooked.

There inside the Cole’s mansion, the young son of Emerson Cole was handling six women.

If he had ever thought that a day would come, then it must have been a crazy dream. But now there was a clear reality in front of him.

When they were done with the meal, they all settled at the living room again, where Jayden had to step forward to clear his mind.

They were all ears, sitting, as they struck sharp glances at him.

"I know you all must have been wondering what is going on here. I totally understand. And I would have to clear my mind."

"Trust is the most important element for success, and I have figured that the only people I can trust, are my ladies," Jayden smiled as he gave each and every one of them a soft look.

They got more interested in his speech overtime.

"I want you all to be the supporting pillars of the EC Corsutiom, which would be wonderful by me, The Dominus."

At that point, Camilia, Paula, and Becky suddenly had their brows furrowed in awe.

"The Dominus... The one who was said to have bought over four hundred thousand VIREX Coin units?" Becky asked.

"Yes," Jayden smiled.

"You are him?" Paula also questioned, her mouth agape.

"Yes, I am."

Jayden’s composure went high as he said that, giving them a sincere look.

His girlfriends sat there in awe, but he wasn’t done.

There was a short moment of silence, and then it broke. They all began to nod in approval, one by one.

That was hell of a promising speech, as Jayden appeared real and certain. Though the ladies didn’t have that happiness that comes when one is only the first lady, they were still glad they would be with him.

The fact that most of them are above 60% affection made it obvious. There’s was no way declining his approval was an option.

"So, are we going to retain our identities, unlike you?" Camilia asked.

"Good question," Jayden smiled. "No, just like me, you all would be having a new hidden identities as well... More like Codenames."

Jayden was still busy with the ladies when a strange number called. He glared at the screen and picked up, asking the ladies to hold on.

"Who’s this please?" Jayden asked.

"Hello. It’s me, Tom. You have to come to New Life Hospital right now," the masculine voice at the other hand sounded.

"What? Why?" Jayden frowned.

"Your mother is dying."

Jayden eyes widened as he heard that.

He didn’t even know when he suddenly rushed towards to the door and stormed out of the building, taking his McLaren Sabre that was parked alongside the Nova X.

The ladies noticed him and were surprised to see him in haste, but before they could even meet up, he had disappeared.

Jayden didn’t even know why he was actually rushing to see his mother in the hospital. He didn’t know why his heart was beating fast... All he knew was that he was actually going there.

He was scared... He didn’t know why...

When he reached New Life Hospital, he quickly found his way into the patient room where Naylah was.

The man, Tom, who had called him was there with three young figures that looked like they were Tom’s, surely, all in tears.

Naylah was crying as well... Tom too.

But what had stunned him was the fact that his mother was finding it hard to breath, and she could even barely move.

Jayden quickly rushed to her.

The moment she noticed him, she tried moving her right hand but failed, and Jayden didn’t waste a second being the one to hold her.

"I... I... Am sorry... For all I... I... Did... To you."

Her voice broke repeatedly.

Jayden suddenly noticed what was going on, as his heart skipped.

"Mom, what’s wrong? Why are you not breathing right?"

His eyes widened as he turned to Tom.

"What’s wrong with her? Tell me!"

Tom was deep in tears, but Jayden urge made him give an answer, as he spoke while stammering.

"Ca... Cancer."

Jayden’s jaw dropped at that point.

"Don’t... Don’t be afraid, my son. Don’t be. Please, just... Just promise me that you... Would avenge your father. Please," Naylah said.

"I will. Mom, be strong. You will surely get better. You can get through this," Jayden said in panic, shivering around.

He didn’t know why...

"The last time you called me ’mom’, it was the day I showed up after living you for fourteen years. You have always hated me for it, and I deserve every bit of what has happened to me. But I’m glad that you called me ’mom’ once again. I’m glad, son."

A tear suddenly fell from Jayden’s eyes.

Another followed.

"Mom, please..."

"Just be brave, like you have always been. Be a good and strong man. Don’t worry about me, because I’ll always regret my actions of abandoning you, even in death."

The air seemed to turn cold in a moment.

"I love you, son."

"I love you too, mom."

Right before his eyes, the woman turned stiff as she no longer move or talk. Even the managed breath was no more, as it was obvious that she...

She was dead.
