Chapter 83: The Plan

Just like that, the Kingsleys had went free with their crimes again. Just when everyone thought karma had caught up with them, things suddenly fell apart.

It was a tense occurrence, but yet there was nothing they could do when the judge already ended and terminated the case. This literally meant that the case can no longer be brought up again in court.

With that realisation hitting Naylah, she had collapsed right inside the court, bringing up chaos that didn’t seem to change the outcome of the judgement.

In fact, the judges and the defendants had left right away, and it was left for the Vanes to take care of the case since it didn’t really seem like Naylah had fainted due to the loss.

There was a slim chance it was something else, and they didn’t waste anytime.

"Hey you both, come carry her. I’m not letting the mother of four die here today just because some insane conspiracy. The judge must hear from me!"

Kurtis’s face reddened as he ordered his bodyguards who were initially standing outside the court premises.

The bodyguards carried her into the executive van parked outside, and just when Kurtis was rushing to follow up, Silas stopped him.

"Mother of four? What do you mean?" Silas asked with plane curiosity.

"You heard me right, brother. She has four kids. Jayden is just the first child from the first husband," Kurtis replied with a sharp tone.

"I have to follow this woman up right now. You should start figuring a way to kill that bastard judge when you get back to the villa. I’m completely sure Gregory bribed him, just like the judge in the other case."

Kurtis said as he quickly entered the van that drove them out of the scene.

Silas stood there, weighed by the sadness of his loss, and th realisation of Naylah not actually being alone all these years.

"Of course, that poor boy has every reason to be mad at her. Now I know," Kurtis said as he walked to join Luka in the Rolls Royce.

Jayden and Harper departed the next morning, but he made sure to tell her to come over to his place, the newly renovated Cole mansion in Eastview.

She didn’t hesitate, accepting the invite at first. Now that she was his girlfriend, things was already going smooth and straight.

He was on his to the apartment to plan his move on Becky when Sabrina called. Jayden expected nothing else than her complaining about the low sales on the new cars, but then, it was the direct opposite.

"Morning, boss. I couldn’t wait for you to come over to the office before I give you the good news! We just sold twenty units of the Nova X model in a space of twenty hours!"

"We have gained $220,000,000 with the sales, and it had been managed by Lynna, the General Accountant."

Jayden’s eyes lit up. "Twenty units??? Whoa!"

"It was a hit, boss. I still can’t believe it myself," Sabrina was also excited at the other hand, as was voice was sharp, high-spirited.

It was news that hit Jayden on the chest, but what could he do? He suddenly remained the show on the racetrack back in campus...

The videos the students had posted online must have captured many and they might decided to try it. The Nova X was quite an expensive one, so it was pretty certain that the ones who would be able to get it her top figures in town.

Sure, even most of the students in Sky High could have immediately went for it, since it was a prestigious university where the children of the wealthiest tycoons in Cloudbridge City attends.

Jayden couldn’t be more happy, but he had to accept the fact that it was worth it. After the great technology bestowed upon those cars, there was no way they would settle for less.

In fact, it was certain that they deserve more, and better. And to Jayden, this was just the beginning.

The Dominus was going to be legendary figure, and the real Jayden Cole wouldn’t be lagging behind his enemies as well!

"Get all the reports ready until I arrive. I’ll be there tomorrow," Jayden said as he smiled widely before letting Sabrina end the call.

"Woohoo!" Jayden sped up the Nova X as he dashed home with an incredible speed that left the other cars around in awe.

Everyone around couldn’t help but continue watching the unfamiliar car as it tore the air.

And they never knew this... They never knew it was going to be the talk of town very soon!

"You punk! We are just escaping one problem, and now you have gotten us to another! What kind of mother-fucking punk are you?" Gregory roared hard on his chamber, standing before his son who had a dark face as he bent shamefully with his hand folded.

"I didn’t know it would end like that... I didn’t know," Royce said, his tone low yet clear.

"Son of a coward! Why would you accept a race challenge in the first place when you don’t have any idea of the capabilities of the car? Everything he created would have just been under the shadows if you take that challenge and lose. Now look... You just messed up everything!" Gregory barked.

"He didn’t challenge me. Camilia Frost did. She is his girlfriend, and she brought up the idea of th race. All the students around were watching, and they would have called me a coward if I reject it," Royce said, his face darkening the more.

"Hold it... You mean Camilla Frost, daughter of Heston Frost in the neighboring city, is Jayden’s girlfriend?" Gregory’s eyes dilated as he asked.

Royce nodded.

"I thought she was going to marry the Prince of Nortasia?" Gregory glared.

"Well, it was rumored that she was against it. That’s definitely why she is with Jayden. But her father isn’t backing down either. He gave her a choice to marry the Prince or leave, and I think she would never leave her family for that miserable bastard," Royce said, nodding confidently.

Gregory hesitated and shook his head. "I can’t still imagine why this little boy is gaining favor everywhere he goes. I might be forced to eliminate him from this world if he becomes a vexing cockroach."

"But anyways...Find a way to fix things. If the clips the students on the racetrack sent goes viral, the popularity and reputation of Zintech would awaken again. We can’t let that happen," Gregory told Royce with a stern voice, still clearly mad at him but decided to keep his calm.

"I’ll do that, father. Trust me," Gregory nodded confidently before he left.

"About your sister..." Gregory made Jayden pause. "You haven’t said anything about her since she showed up at the court the other day."

Indeed, Royce had been silent, and even Gregory who was to be affected more by her actions hadn’t been as hard as him.

"What about it? I don’t have a sister anymore," Royce said as attempted to leave when his father ordered him to stop.

"Do you think she was on her right senses?" He then asked.

"No, she had never been," Royce replied with a dark look.

"I’m here father... I know her more than you do. Right from the very moment your mother died, she had hated me."

"Well, so what? Mother died of an incurable disease. That’s none of your fault," Royce said.

"Yeah, I know. But Emily has not been seeing it that way..." Gregory sighed. "She... She always think I killed her."

’But, it was actually a different person who did it. I’m still wondering why she had been suspecting me,’ Gregory said that inwardly, and Royce didn’t hear a thing.

Later that day, Jayden made his plans.

Becky Larkin would be going on shopping in Noah Mall NorthVille City.

Jayden wasted to time to fly to NorthVille that day. The crazy thing was that he already had a connection with someone very close to her...

Her personal bodyguard.

He was the one who had notified him about it, and he had to shoot his shot today.

Jayden had to persuade the bodyguard with both money and words of trust, because the bodyguard wanted an ensured safety of his boss with him.

He also stated that he wouldn’t be too far off her when he arrives, but would make sure that she notice him.

Anyway, this was the plan...

...

Becky stepped out of the mall and into the parking lot, and then a hefty man suddenly approached with a rush, his face stern.

She suddenly flinched, as his approach frightened her. She was completely terrified, and even got more scared when the man rushed towards with his fist clenched.

It was clear that he wanted to harm her.

"Corey! Corey where are you!!!" Becky shouted at the top of her lungs, already fearing for her life.

As a celebrity like that, she must always expect problems with insecurity.

Corey was called, but he was nowhere to be found, and Becky was there, alone, about to get harmed by a man that looked like a beast.

And that was when a hero dashed in.

Jayden Cole...

Barely known here, suddenly attacked the hefty man, facing off with him and miraculously beating him up to a stupor.

Becky was stunned, and... Glad. Thankful.

She literally judged that this man just saved her life.

"Thank you for saving me. I don’t know how to repay you," she said, her eyes bright as she smiled faintly.

"Heroes don’t need payments for their services, especially to women of your kind," Jayden said as he gave a smile, and then gave a hand.

"Jayden."

She smiled widely and quickly responded.

"Becky."
