Chapter 101: Jayden’s Idea

Saying that he wanted Jayden dead was something the ladies hadn’t entirely predicted, but they had to take it into account.

People like the Kingsleys would always love to do what they liked for their own selfish gains, and it was clear that that was what Royce was showing here.

Sure, they dared not act like they were freaked out by what he had said, so Trigger nodded to him as she gave a fake yet genuine-looking smile.

Well, he wouldn’t even know if she smiled or not, as she was masked.

"Well, consider that done. We’ll try to eliminate him. That way, you would be on top of the campus again," Trigger said with a strong tone.

As the one in charge of defense and arms, whether the killing was carried out or not depended on her, but how this ended was already obvious.

There was no way Jayden could be killed, right? The moment he dies, The Dominus dies too.

Trigger chuckled inwardly.

’They keep piling their sins up every day. Hell might not just be enough when judgment day comes.’

"I think he would be much like his father. A criminal," Gregory added. "I support my son’s decision. We have to end him."

The ladies exchanged glances and nodded after sharing a look.

"I think that’s a smart thing to do," Frontline began. "That way, the stubborn Cole Family would be wiped out — no Emerson, no Naylah, and no Jayden. It would be perfect."

"Absolutely!" Gregory laughed as he responded, feeling so chuffed to have his allies supporting his evil intentions.

The ladies knew from the beginning that that was what Gregory had always wanted. The day Jayden dies, his fear about the truth coming out would be completely erased.

He surely knew that things weren’t over with Jayden still standing and rising in the business world. He was getting richer every day, and every rise was a step closer to avenging his father.

Gregory knew that.

"Well then. We’ll look forward to getting that done. First of all, The Dominus would have to know about it, which we are sure he’s going to approve since he wants the very best for his allies. Then, we are going to execute the plan," Frontline said as she turned to Trigger, who nodded at them.

Their meeting ended after those conversations, and they parted ways. The ladies rushed toward Dominion Island to inform Jayden about it, their minds filled with several nervous thoughts.

They didn’t even know how it could be possible to execute such a thing, which was a tough case.

The Dominus had already stated that he would deal with anyone who troubled the Kingsleys... Now that the Kingsleys had already made a complaint about Jayden Cole and wanted him dead, it would be suspicious if he didn’t do it, right?

Jayden was alone in the living room when they arrived. They pulled off their masks and took their seats.

"Hey, ladies. How did it go?" Jayden asked.

"Well, they want us to kill you," Temi said as she sat on his left-hand side.

Camilla was on the right.

"Kill me?" Jayden furrowed his brows.

Before he could ask any more questions, Charlotte brought out her phone and played a recording. She had actually been recording every conversation that had happened there.

It wasn’t like Jayden asked her to... She was smart enough to think of that herself.

Jayden calmly listened, his eyes dilating at every point, especially during the Royce and Gregory parts, although he wasn’t really surprised because he knew that the Kingsleys would always want him out of their way.

And the straight fact was that it was Jayden Cole they wanted dead.

It was certain.

Jayden smiled and gave a nod.

"Well done. You made him believe it’s possible," Jayden said to them.

"So, what do we do about it? Saying that means we actually have to do it, and we all know there’s no way that’s happening," Becky said.

"I have a plan," Jayden looked at them one by one with a bold gaze that held a sense of absolute smartness.

Of course, they knew what he was capable of... That was why his opinion was always needed before any action was taken.

"What idea? Don’t tell me you’re going to die, my love," Paula said, her eyes dark.

"I am..." Jayden replied, noticing their stunned glances, and then added, "But I’m not."

"What does that mean?" Harper asked.

"I mean, we are going to fake Jayden Cole’s death. But that would have to happen after my final exams, which will be in six days," he said.

"Faking Jayden Cole’s death would be wild. The Zintech management, everything... It might end up being a challenge," Camilla tried to talk him out of it, but Jayden remained calm.

"I’ll have that taken care of, trust me. At this point, we have to make sure we do everything to get to the root of the Kingsleys’ foundation. That’s the only way we can bring them down at once, completely. Otherwise, Gregory will always get backups to strike back. Now, all we have to do is win their trust, especially with the fact that we’re big allies."

Jayden explained his prior plans to them, and they could all understand him.

Someone like Gregory, who had connections everywhere, couldn’t be taken out easily. Even though The Dominus was much richer, it would take him some time to bring him down, especially with the kind of governmental allies Gregory had secured.

Well, wasn’t that why Kingsley Group was still standing after all the atrocities they had committed?

After all the lives they had ended just for the sake of keeping a bloody secret that could harm their reputation?

After all the lives they ended just because of failed assigned missions?

It was uncountable if one tried putting them on a list, and Jayden didn’t want to do this just because of his father, but because of every victim of the Kingsleys’ evil.

Soon, perhaps it would be announced that Jayden Cole had died, and to many, it would seem like the end of hope... However, it would just be the beginning of a new step toward vengeance.

Harper headed to the Defense and Warfare base in Dominion Island. It was a large building with every possible piece of equipment to make different weapons.

This was where she was planning on crafting her first killing machine, and with the specialized skill on her, it was more than possible.

The assistant defense and warfare chief was already there when she arrived, and he walked over and welcomed her.

"Welcome, Miss Trigger. We’ve already gotten the preparations done. What’s left is for experimentation to begin," Hardy said, his tone sharp.

"Good. Have you gotten the ten workers ready?" she asked.

"Absolutely, ma’am," Hardy responded with a nod.

"Alright then. Call them in. They’ll have to introduce themselves. Their qualifications, their identities, and backgrounds. This is something that concerns The Dominus. We can’t afford to risk anything," Harper said.

"Sure, ma’am."

Hardy left the production room and went forward to call the workers over.

He came back with seven guys and three ladies.

They all walked calmly toward the room, stealing glances at the masked beauty on the other side.

"Come on over here. Real quick!" Harper raised her voice to make sure they heard her, and they quickly approached.

These ten figures would be trained for a start, as they would play a huge role in the production of top weapons in this base.

Things would go fast if it were Harper doing it alone, or even Hardy joining in... There would be little improvement.

Even at ten, it might still be low, but she was just laying the foundation at this point.

"Your name. Past or present qualification. Background?" Harper began her interview.

Although it didn’t look like she would make any selections — they were all employed already.

"I’m Fredrick. Was a recruit in the armed forces. Military background. Both father and mother were in the army," Frederick said.

"Wow, that’s great. Move on. Next?" Harper called.

After all the interview sessions, there was only one person left... A young lady who appeared to be in her early twenties.

"Your name. Qualifications? Background?"

....

Standing right in front of one of The Dominus’s ladies was Sofia.

She was completely nervous, staring at the black mask that held a dangerous aura.

After Alfred had saved her life, he had also helped her find a job inside Dominion Island, which was more than enough.

Now, it was just left for her to earn her spot by replying smartly to the question and winning her way to earning a hundred thousand dollars weekly!

However, there was a real problem.

The problem was that Sofia didn’t want to reveal her background and surely would have to lie about her qualification because she didn’t have any.

That was something Alfred had persuaded her to do, even though it was risky — but she knew she had to do this.

She wouldn’t want to be sent away from Dominion Island empty-handed.

With a sigh, she spoke with a sharp tone.

"Sofia Taylor. Chemist. Father was an FBI officer, disciplined."

This was what Alfred had told her to say, and luckily...

"Great. You’re welcome, Sofia... Now let’s get to work."

Luckily... She was now on the golden land. But this time, not as a gold-digger.
