Chapter 939 - 2 The Drunk Woman

Chapter 939: Chapter 2 The Drunk Woman

Because he didn’t want to cause trouble for the girl, Tang Zheng didn’t go all out, which left the hooligans with enough strength to get up and flee towards the store’s entrance.

Tang Zheng threw the baton like an arrow piercing through the air, bringing a powerful wind as it struck the back of one of the hooligans, flipping him over. The young man following him ran even faster, only to be struck in the back by a beer can Tang Zheng threw, sending him rolling out.

"Did I say you could leave?" Tang Zheng took out another can, his eyes sweeping fiercely over the hooligans as they struggled to their feet.

"No!" The young hooligans offered smiles, unable to help it—the two who hadn’t listened were writhing on the ground, their faces twisted in pain.

"Hmph!" Tang Zheng’s face was expressionless. Putting force into his right hand, with a bang, he crushed the aluminum can, spraying its light yellow contents out, splattering a few hooligans. But they stood still as cicadas in winter, hunching their shoulders, not daring to utter a sound.

"Is this something a human can do?" The hooligans with dyed hair stared at the crumpled beer can in Tang Zheng’s hand, dumbfounded. How much strength would that require?

"Big brother, let’s talk this out. We didn’t recognize Mount Tai, and we definitely won’t dare do it again next time," Wei Ge came to, smiling and pleading for mercy from Tang Zheng, although a flicker of hatred passed through his eyes.

"Trash!" These people were nothing but bullies who act tough in front of the weak, actually cowards without any real backbone. Noticing Wei Ge’s look, Tang Zheng kicked one of the hooligans blocking the way out of the way, grabbed another by the neck with one hand and hoisted him up.

Wei Ge wasn’t tall, and being lifted by Tang Zheng, who was over one meter eighty, immediately made him hang in mid-air. A strong sensation of suffocation hit him, and he flailed desperately, attempting to cry for help, but with his throat constricted, he couldn’t make a sound.

Seeing their boss’s face turn from red to iron blue, the hooligans’ faces whitened and their bodies began to tremble.

The young man’s expression remained unchanged while Wei Ge’s struggle grew weaker, his body starting to twitch reflexively. It seemed Tang Zheng was iron-hearted about killing Wei Ge.

"That’s enough, he’s going to die!" Black Long Straight shouted, rushing over and grabbing Tang Zheng’s wrist.

"You have a really nice voice!" Tang Zheng took the opportunity to let go of Wei Ge, these guys were like disobedient mangy dogs. Instead of threatening them not to come near the Supermarket, it was better to deter them with the threat of death.

"It’s not worth it!" Hearing Tang Zheng’s compliment, Black Long Straight blushed slightly, but then she frowned. She couldn’t see through this man’s character. She had thought he was a sensitive and somewhat compassionate good guy, but seeing his cruel side, Black Long Straight was scared again.

"If I hadn’t stopped him, would he have killed him?" Black Long Straight shook her head, finding it absurd, but Tang Zheng’s eyes were too cold, almost like those of an executioner who had taken many lives.

"From today onwards, you are my girlfriend." Tang Zheng suddenly reached out, wrapping his arm around Black Long Straight’s shoulder, then turned to the hooligans, "Hey, you guys, if you come and cause trouble again, I will plant lotuses in you."

The hooligans knew they had been planted, albeit unwillingly. How could they refuse? Thus, they propped each other up, ready to leave.

"Hold on, take this money for your injuries, and don’t bother Xiao Tao anymore." Tang Zheng opened his wallet, threw out a few thousand on the ground and said, "Get lost."

The hooligans’ eyes brightened. Although they were in pain, they had only suffered minor injuries that could be treated with some safflower oil, but this money was enough for them to enjoy themselves for a while. At that moment, they had already started thinking about where to have fun.

Xiao Tao hesitated to speak and gave Tang Zheng a glance, feeling vexed. He thought the money should all be his, given by his brother-in-law.

"Big brother, you can rest assured, we will definitely not let anyone else cause trouble in the Supermarket," declared one clever hooligan, eager to swear loyalty. He felt that Tang Zheng must be a wealthy and influential family’s son and wanted to make his fortune with him.

"Heh, is that necessary?" Tang Zheng waved his hand dismissively, showing a nonchalant attitude, paying no more attention to the hooligans. He wanted to give them that feeling of being looked down on. Only that way would they dare not act recklessly. After all, you can’t just kill people, right? Striking a blow before offering a sweet jujube was the only way to dissolve their resentment. Tang Zheng didn’t fear them, but Black Long Straight still had to live her life.

"It’s not necessary, you went out of your way!" Black Long Straight was a smart girl, guessing Tang Zheng’s thoughts. She was touched, but if he made any improper suggestions, she would still refuse.

"Hey, that’s my brother-in-law’s money, you can’t take it!" For the sake of the money, Xiao Tao bravely shouted, no longer concerned about Wei Ge.

"Oh, now that you’ve got a rich brother-in-law, you think you’ve grown wings, don’t you? Be careful or we’ll beat you up," chided one hooligan, of course not willing to let go of the Soft Girl Currency in hand.

"Hmph, seems like someone here was just beaten by my brother-in-law," Xiao Tao now had more guts with a new powerful figure backing him. He felt that his brother-in-law was completely out of these guys’ league.

"Xiao Tao, this is what your brother-in-law gave us. If you want the money, go ask him for it," the hooligans ultimately didn’t dare lay hands on him and turned to leave.

Hearing the word ’brother-in-law’ being called out repeatedly into the shop, Black Long Straight’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment and she felt mortified.

"Grab me two cans of beer again, oh, and pick some snacks too!" Tang Zheng changed the subject, giving the girl a chance to owe him a favor. To the Conquerors, money was no different than waste paper; they were no longer after such things.

Black Long Straight nodded, went to get the beer, and as for the snacks, they were in the farthest corner.

Tang Zheng peeled open a piece of mint gum and tossed it into his mouth, pulled out a bank card, and slipped it between the pages of a book. After casually writing down the PIN, he quickly left. Only in this way could he avoid any interaction with the girl. As for Black Long Straight, he hoped she would use that money to find her happiness.

"Eh, Brother-in-law, you don’t have a car?" Xiao Tao caught up with him, surprised to see that Tang Zheng was actually walking, feeling somewhat disappointed.

"What’s your sister’s name?" Tang Zheng stopped, looked at the boy under the dim street lights with a cold gaze.

"Tao, Tao Ran." The boy was startled, not daring to meet Tang Zheng’s eyes, subconsciously touching the bruise on his face that had been caused by the beating.

"Tell me your mobile phone number." Tang Zheng took note and, in the end, still took out his wallet and gave the boy two hundred yuan.

"Brother-in-law, take care." Xiao Tao went back to the shop, all smiles, only to see his older sister sitting in front of the cash register, holding books in her arms, silent and full of sorrow.

Tears overflowed from the right eye of the girl with Black Long Straight hair, tracing a line down her beautiful cheek.

"What’s wrong with you? Are you sick?" After scolding, Xiao Tao remembered Tang Zheng’s words and immediately shut his mouth.

Tao Ran didn’t respond; she had already seen the bank card and the PIN written beside it, finally realizing she had truly encountered a good Samaritan who expected nothing in return.

Xu Changtai was a Fourth Order, likely belonging to the Conquerors Alliance. Tang Zheng called Song Xiaotang and Chen Xiong to inquire, but unfortunately, their phones were turned off, clearly indicating they were also engaged in the Trojan Horse Game.

Not knowing the contact information for other members of the alliance, Tang Zheng had no choice but to give up and took a taxi back to the motel. Ten minutes later, he arrived, and then sparse snowflakes began to drift from the sky.

Just a few steps away, a taxi stopped nearby, and a middle-aged man paid the fare before helping a drunken woman down from the back seat, heading toward the motel.

The woman, in her early to mid-thirties, was fairly well maintained, clad in a tailored suit that accentuated her voluptuous figure, like a ripe peach.

"Boss Zheng, no." The woman was only partly inebriated and could still feel when the man suddenly placed his hand on her butt and squeezed. She twisted her body and swatted his hand away.

"Haha, the building materials deal can be signed tomorrow, and the money will be in hand by the afternoon." The man surnamed Zheng was anxious; he didn’t really live up to his name. Although called Boss Zheng by the woman, he was in name only, otherwise, he wouldn’t lack even a private car. His words were misleading, his real aim being to take advantage of the woman before anything else.

"That won’t do, it’s too late, I need to get home." The woman was clearly no pushover, but she had been brought to the outside of the motel because she had been fed an excessive amount of alcohol. Now, sobered by the chill wind, she wanted to go home.

"Wait until you sober up a bit, then I’ll take you home." Zheng Zheng supported the woman, eager to enter the motel, excited by the warm breath of alcohol she exhaled.

"No, really, it’s too late." The woman resisted, but due to being intoxicated, she had trouble controlling her body and could only passively be pulled along by Zheng Zheng.

Tang Zheng stood on the steps, originally not wanting to meddle, but as the two passed him, he looked at the woman’s silhouette and felt that he had seen her somewhere before, though he could not quite recall where.

"Boss Zheng, please don’t do this." The woman’s resistance was not very firm; mainly because she too wanted to close the deal, yet she feared ending up losing both her dignity and the business opportunity.

"Get a room." Zheng Zheng took his wallet out with one hand, handed it to the waiter at the front desk, and three minutes later, declined the offer to be shown the way, leading the woman into the elevator, heading for the eighth floor.

"I’m really overthinking this." Tang Zheng still couldn’t remember, so he shrugged his shoulders and gave up.

Zheng Zheng also noticed the man in the elevator room, gave him a glance, and then paid him no more attention, instead thinking about how he would play with the woman later, determined to have his fill. If it weren’t for the stranger nearby, he would have already made his move.

Entering the hallway, the woman vomited a few times, though she brought nothing up, but she became much soberer. She rejected again, but Zheng Zheng forcefully dragged her toward the room.

"Hey, isn’t this a bit too ungentlemanly of you?" Tang Zheng initially didn’t want to meddle, but watching their struggle furrowed his brow; it was clear the man was the type to have his way and give nothing in return. He didn’t want the woman to regret it the next day.

"None of your damn business." Zheng Zheng bullied Tang Zheng for being young, cursed with a dark face, trying to intimidate him into leaving. With a woman in his clutches, he had no time to waste words with the young man.

Tang Zheng curled his lip, walked up to Zheng Zheng, grabbed the woman’s arm, pulling her behind him, and then grabbed Zheng Zheng’s hair, smashing his head against the smooth, shiny wall.
