Chapter 750: Chapter 13: Suppression
The elderly school principal, who was killed in an act of bravery, was teleported in. Despite his disarray sitting on the ground, his white hair was neatly combed, looking scholarly. He touched his belly and furrowed his brows — his stab wound from the robber had disappeared.
He stood up, his back to his hands, striding around the room. Glaring at the brawling crowd and hearing the noisy commotion, he furrowed his eyebrows even further.
"Everyone, stop it! What a mess!" The old school principal yelled authoritatively. He quickly walked to the fighting crowd, trying to deter the youths.
"Get lost!" A red-haired youth punched the old principal in the nose, causing immediate bleeding.
A few women gasped and covered their mouths in horror. The men were displeased, but none of them stepped forward to intervene.
The fat man who claimed to be a city leader had no one helping him besides his secretary. He could only hold out for a few moments before he was beaten by the seven rock-themed youths, who kicked him relentlessly on the ground until his face swelled.
"Everyone stop! No more fighting!" The old school principal reeled backward several steps after being hit, but after wiping the blood off, he once again courageously stepped in to stop them.
"How admirable to remain so righteous even in old age," a man in a suit sighed. He made no other move but had his eyes fixed on a woman wearing a long, white, down jacket with admiration.
"Everyone’s a fool. Figure out where this is first," a man with glasses, standing upright without any hint of panic, scanned the room before turning his gaze to Tang Zheng’s group, walking over.
"Hello, may I ask where we are?" Even before the man with glasses finished speaking, new figures began to teleport in — two men and a woman.
The group from the ’Students’ Union’ immediately went over to meet them. However, the elegantly dressed woman’s face lit up. "Thank god", she exclaimed. "I was worried that you would be swept away by the mudslide."
The chat between old friends persisted with the continued teleportation. Yao Feng and ’Red’ were teleported in, followed by muscle-bound Dongzi, who had crossed paths with Tang Zheng in the Internet cafe, and his boss — the middle-aged man.
Three days after Tang Zheng left, the man’s Internet cafe was shut down by the police until full documentation was in place. The boss was furious but unable to do anything about it, running around to speed up the process. Meanwhile, Dongzi’s sister was hit by a car and in urgent need of surgery. He attempted to ask for three months’ back pay from his boss, but as a result, was fired after a heated confrontation.
In a fit of rage, Dongzi decapitated his boss with a chopper and then looted his home. After paying his sister’s hospital and surgical fees, he made plans to head south but was tragically killed by a car in another province.
When they saw each other again under these circumstances, they instantly recognized each other as enemies. The middle-aged man immediately lunged at Dongzi, meeting him in mid-air, pinned him to the ground and mercilessly beat him.
"What chaos," Pang Meiqin commented, smirking. Jing Xiang, who was more timid, quickly hid behind Qin Yan.
The Conquerors frowned but before they could quell the chaos in the room, another group of five men who teleported in completely caught the newcomers off-guard.
These five men didn’t these men say anything, but their presence was overwhelmingly powerful. The leader was a towering, muscular man, standing at 190 cm tall. He wore canvas trousers and a greasy leather jacket, with a face that suggested he’d seen hard times. He looked like he’d been on the move, neglected and worn out.
He carried two travel bags and kept one hand in his jacket at all times, warily observing everyone. His four companions were similarly dressed, each with a travel bag and hands on their waists.
The steely gaze of the five men silenced everyone in the room, making them feel like chicks under the watchful eyes of eagles. The group was wanted for robbery of a gold store and a bank, during which they killed seven people. They were now criminals on the run across five provinces, with a one million dollar reward issued by the police, with their images posted on TV and the Internet.
"Boss, so many gorgeous women here." A twenty-something year old youth licked his lips, lecherously eyeing the women. His eyes finally settled on Ruan Feifei and Qin Yan.
"Control your lustful eyes, or I’ll gouge them out." Ruan Feifei retorted arrogantly, refusing to let such lowlifes fantasize about her.
The four men who were about to retreat and observe the situation came to a sudden halt, their gaze fixed on Ruan Feifei, then swiftly switched to Tang Zheng, as the group of Conquerors surrounded him, indicating his superior status.
"Hey, babe, you’re pretty feisty. I love breaking women like you." The youth sneered, drew his gun and headed for the female host. His companions didn’t stop him, realizing that this was a crucial moment to assert authority and control.
"You’re begging for death," Ruan Feifei retorted, lifting her Thunderstorm rifle. However, she paused mid-action, remembering that they had no knowledge of modern weaponry. She reached into her Space Backpack for the AK74 instead, an obvious show of strength.
"Oh, I love it when a woman curses me, especially during...you know," the youth slurred vulgar words, only to freeze midway. He wanted to step backward, but he couldn’t.
Lin Weiguo and Dantai drew their handguns, aiming at the youth.
"Ruan Feifei, before you lose your temper next time, please make sure you know your weapon." Tang Zheng furrowed his brows, glancing at the four men in the corner, "You guys don’t think these are toy guns, do you?"
"Friend, we’re not that stupid," the bearded man spoke without deference or modesty. He had crisscrossed the north and southern provinces and had seen it all. "But you better keep those guns, lest they misfire."
All four men took out their Type 54 handguns from beneath their clothes.
The air in the Trojan Room froze at that moment. The newbies didn’t even dare to breathe heavily. They distanced themselves from those five men while pushing each other, hoping someone else would be in front of them; a flesh shield in case of a gun breaking out.
"Tch, showing off with obsolete stuff you’ve used for seven or eight years? Aren’t you embarrassed?" Lu Fan, licking his lollipop, dragged out the Howling Reaper, a gun nobody had used for ages, from his Wristwatch Space. The golden bullet chain immediately dazzled everyone’s eyes.
"Smack yourself across the face twenty times, and this matter will be over." Tang Zheng didn’t even glance at the young man. "Ruan Feifei, what do you think?"
"Thirty." Ruan Feifei looked at the young man with disgust. Her words were icy cold. As her strength increased, she became more confident and arrogant. In reality, she had little regard for any man.
"Friend..." A man with a gun was interrupted by Tang Zheng before he could finish speaking.
"Do as I said, don’t make me repeat it." Tang Zheng pulled out his Beretta M9 and pointed it at the young man’s forehead. "You have three seconds to think."
The corners of the young man’s mouth twitched. He hadn’t expected that flirting with a woman would bring such trouble. As an experienced bandit, he could tell Tang Zheng wasn’t joking.
Slap, slap. The young man started to slap his own face with one hand. A wise man knows when to step back. These men knew how to adapt, but if they got the chance, they would definitely get their revenge.
"Ruan Feifei, it’s just a few glances, what’s the big deal? You weren’t raped by him. Now look, the game hasn’t started yet, and we’re already in internal conflict with the strongest newbies." Pang Meiqin was unhappy. Ruan Feifei was too arrogant.
Ruan Feifei didn’t rebut. She also didn’t expect Tang Zheng to stand up for her, and she felt a slight sense of gratitude.
The newbies watched as the five wanted men submitted, smacking themselves. They were shocked and turned their gazes towards Tang Zheng, guessing their origins.
"Bai Guo, you introduce the Trojan Room to them." Tang Zheng had achieved his goal. He wanted the newbies to fear him.
Being a former flight attendant, Natural Stupid was a natural at these things. With her innocent looks and large breasts, she could easily hold their attention.
Just a few seconds later, there was a commotion in the crowd because Mei Jueye had teleported in.
"Holy shit, it’s this lunatic." The rockers who had been headshot were enraged. They immediately broke away from the crowd, ready to settle scores with the high schooler.
Gu Xuezhi’s fists clenched. She never thought she would get the chance to take revenge.
Mei Jueye’s cold eyes swept over them, and then he raised his right hand, aiming the muzzle at the frontmost young man.
Bang, the bullet went through the young man’s ankle. The unlucky guy let out a cry and fell to the ground.
Seeing the severed foot, the newbies were as if collectively strangled silent. Even the tough bandit who was slapping himself froze, cursing vulgarities.
"Damn, this guy is ruthless."
Mei Jueye was very alert. Every time he entered the room, he was fully armed with weapons in hand. After shooting the young man, he raised his hand again, aiming at the other newbies.
"This guy is a killer. He killed seven of us." The pierced-lip woman screamed in an attempt to expose Mei Jueye’s true face.
"I was also killed by him." The school beauty’s words made all the newbies frown. The avant-garde and alternative attire of the seven rockers couldn’t earn their sympathy, but the pure and strong school beauty was different. At first glance, she seemed like a sweet girl.
"Mei Jueye, can you get any crazier?" Tang Zheng aimed his gun at the high schooler, his finger on the trigger.
"You dare to kill me? Would you give up my worthless life?" As soon as Mei Jueye finished speaking, Tang Zheng’s gun rang out. One bullet after another flew out of the muzzle. First, he shot the M9 out of the high schooler’s hand, then all the bullets hit his right leg, right in the kneecap.
When billionaire Li Hongda teleported in, the first thing he saw was this scene, and he was almost scared to pee on his pants.
"Awesome." The five seasoned bandits stared, stunned, at Tang Zheng whose hand holding the gun under the recoil was steady, wondering how strong his arms were to manage such smooth and natural movements.
"Not bad, you got a B+ level of protective clothing after only two matches." Tang Zheng replaced the clip and aimed at Mei Jueye again. "Why didn’t you fight back?"
"Tang Zheng, don’t push me." Mei Jueye roared, taking out another bunch of bombs. "Or else we all die together. (To be continued. If you like this work, you’re welcome to vote for it at qidian.com, your support is my greatest motivation.)
