Chapter 704: Chapter 47: Confrontation_2

"I still have a Doe Helicopter and a BMP3 Infantry Armored Car, want to play around with them ?" Tang Zheng climbed onto the roof of the car but did not take out the Hellfire to attack directly. There were more than a hundred armed helicopters on the other side, and he did not want to take them head-on. Besides, using the Hellfire was too costly in terms of points, it was best to save what could be saved. More importantly, after Smith’s self-destruction last time, the Hellfire had a few glitches. He had to reserve it for the final blow on the Alien Queen. It would really be terrible if it broke down prematurely.

"You’re like a mobile armory, overwhelming the enemy at every turn!" Dantai fired a Stinger Missile, but it went off target again. His technical skills were quite lousy, which caused the corner of his mouth to twitch. He wasn’t cut out for this.

"Stop wasting them, let me do it!" Tang Zheng summoned three female Musketeers, then pulled out a dozen or so portable anti-aircraft missiles, throwing them on the ground in front of them. "Take those helicopters down."

The armored car was speeding away at full speed with inevitable bumps. But the three female Musketeers in over-knee boots stood steady on top of the moving car, like pines rooted at the top of the mountain. Alizeh, as ordered by her master, flipped her wrist and slung the Silver Musket onto her shoulder. Then, with a toe-kick, she picked up a ’Stinger’ missile and shouldered it.

Sophie and Marilyn also reacted quickly. Kneeling down on one knee, they hoisted anti-aircraft missiles on their shoulders, locking onto a helicopter almost a thousand meters away.

"Fire at the one in the very front!" Sophie, being the first hero summoned, naturally took the role of the leader. As soon as her command fell, three missiles were fired, tearing through the air towards their target.

The targeted armed helicopter made a maneuver and cleverly dodged the first missile. But the second one hit it straight on, striking its propeller.

The armed helicopter immediately turned into a fireball and dropped.

But that’s not all. The third missile was shot and hit one at the back of the flying formation. The unfortunate target, evidently, didn’t realize it was the target and was distracted by the loss of a comrade, by the time it noticed the incoming missile, it was too late. It was hit before it could complete its evasive maneuver.

"Impressive!" Dantai exclaimed as he watched the falling armed helicopters. As expected of the heroes from the Shooting series, they were able to quickly master any weapon and their hit rate was alarmingly high.

The three female Musketeers didn’t seem satisfied with the outcome. They picked up another Stinger Missile, their faces stern.

"Master, you aim for the middle one! That Grim guy, aim for the second one on the left." Sophie took over command. She had to execute some deceptive tactics to maximize their results.

Tang Zheng and Dantai followed the instructions immediately without any error. They completed a whole series of attack steps from aiming to launch within a second.

Marilyn and Alizeh immediately fired, while Sophie deliberately delayed her launch. Two seconds later, three missiles smashed hard into the helicopter bodies, exploding into fireballs.

"Target the third one on the left, and the second one below." Sophie designated the next targets again. Tang Zheng and Dantai acted immediately. The other two Musketeers, having exceptional shooting aptitude, understood how to coordinate with Sophie, without any instruction.

In a short time, the soldiers in the armored car fleet watched through the monitor as five people continuously hoisted anti-aircraft missiles onto their shoulders, throwing them off the car roof after firing, then immediately grabbing another one for the next shot. This created a barrage of missiles, like a fleet of sharp javelins hurtling towards the cunning pack of wolves in a gale. The wolf pack looked as if it had been gnawed with several gaps, as helicopters kept falling down.

The armed helicopters fought back, and their bullet nests roared, firing rocket shells, carpet bombing the armored car fleet.

The on-board machine gunners of the fleet were stunned and dumbfounded. They had never seen anyone so formidable before. The armed helicopters kept falling as if dumplings in hot water, one after the other. In less than a minute, more than thirty had fallen.

"Are these guys mobile cannons or what? Such firepower is insane, that’s an entire fleet of helicopters!" Watching the helicopters being taken down one after another like flies on the screen, every soldier in the fleet was both ecstatic and stunned. They felt their chances of survival greatly increased, and breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that they hadn’t gone mad with the Captain and tried to take on these guys. Otherwise, they probably would all be dead by now.

The Captain who had been knocked out and tossed aside came to consciousness. He was taken aback when he saw the situation from the surveillance screen. He understood that he had underestimated his adversary - this was far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary civilian.

"It was all a misunderstanding," the Captain chuckled awkwardly, trying to placate and cool down the situation. However, the little Lolita snorted, jumped in front of him, and kicked directly at his face.

The captain’s head buzzed, he passed out once more, hitting the vehicle’s wall as he fell backward, a large lump formed on his head.

The heavily tiered firepower of the Armed Helicopters vanished, replaced by full-on firepower as all the vehicle commanders yelled, firing all of their interference shells.

Unfortunately, the effect was mediocre. Five armored vehicles were hit. Rocket shells penetrated the electromagnetic smoke and bombarded the vehicles. Instantly, the gunners were blown to shreds, and the shrapnel-riddled armor penetrated the vehicle.

The armored vehicles now bore a striking resemblance to iron coffins. The soldiers inside didn’t even have a chance to escape.

As the number of downed helicopters increased, they began to scatter and increase their evasive space. With full power, they dashed forward like a starving horde of sharks that smelled blood.

"Give me the Gauss sniper rifle!" Sophie extended her fair hand towards Tang Zheng, asking for a weapon. Despite their exceptional shooting skills, they couldn’t make up for the gaping discrepancy in their armament. The anti-aircraft missiles they had on hand were too rudimentary and insufficient to handle the current situation.

"Fanfan, pass me the gun." Tang Zheng handed the gun to Sophie and gave a shout to Lu Fan. The little Lolita responded and immediately handed over the Gauss sniper rifle, then she sprawled on top of the vehicle-mounted machine gun, watching the battle unfold with her hand shading her eyes.

"Dammit, don’t you trust my abilities?" Marilyn was incensed when she saw Tang Zheng handing the second gun to Alizeh and shove Tang Zheng.

"What are you doing?" Tang Zheng lifted his right arm, initially intending to fire the Mechanical Lion Roar Cannon. However, he almost fell from the top of the vehicle due to Marilyn’s push.

"Hmph, where’s my gun?" Marilyn uncompromisingly met Tang Zheng’s gaze.

"None." Tang Zheng curtly replied before turning around, lifting his right arm, and firing the Roaring Cannon. A thick light beam rivalling the firepower of a warship roared out, penetrating the group of helicopters like a sharp dinner knife slicing through soft sponge cake, clearing out a space.

Six helicopters brushed by the beam instantly vaporized in an explosion, leaving only scattered, tiny debris falling from the sky.

The soldiers were awestruck once more, staring blankly at Tang Zheng’s metallic robotic arm. The power was even stronger than an Orbital Cannon.

"Where’s my gun?" Marilyn persisted, continuing to ask for a rifle. It was her first appearance on the battlefield, and she wanted to prove her worth and earn the acknowledgment of others.

"None!" Tang Zheng responded before attacking again.

"Where’s my gun?" Marilyn persisted before hearing Tang Zheng’s annoyed response.
