Tang Zheng’s tactical vest was filled with ammo clips, pressing against Li Muqing’s chest uncomfortably, but she did not let go, clinging tightly to him.

"Let go." Tang Zheng freed an arm, grabbed Li Muqing’s collar, and tried to shake her off.

"We might die tomorrow, what’s wrong with enjoying our last night?" Li Muqing stared into Tang Zheng’s eyes, asking defiantly. She refused to believe that there were no men who would seize an opportunity. They might feel guilty, they might hesitate, but given an excuse, they would happily climb into a woman’s bed.

Li Muqing was very confident in her beauty. She knew that seducing men could lower their opinion of her, so she used that as an excuse, hoping to plant the idea of their shared adversity deep in Tang Zheng’s subconscious.

"If you regret it, that’s something you’ll think about afterward. Why beat yourself up?" Seeing that Tang Zheng did not reciprocate her advances and tried to throw her off, Li Muqing became somewhat annoyed. "What’s holding you back? I don’t have a boyfriend, you don’t have a girlfriend. We’re both single. What’s wrong with rolling in the sheets? Even if a moral deity were here, there would be no basis to criticize you."

Tang Zheng truly hesitated, not knowing what he was clinging to, perhaps it was guilt towards the young woman Li Xinlan.

It arrived beneath a wildflower with alternating bands of yellow and white, just as a bee that hadn’t collected any nectar left, fluttering it’s wings, it continued its hopeful flight, flying over the desolate fort emanating sounds of male and female panting, flying over the battlefield that stretches for miles.

The black smoke slowly dispersed, the fragrance of wildflowers fill the air once more!

Looking at Li Muqing who was napping on the bed, Tang Zheng sighed, took out a set of sportswear from his wristwatch and tossed it on her.

"I’m going to prepare lunch." Tang Zheng noticed that after killing the two high school girls, he was able to obtain slightly more supplies, four cans of beef would not be an issue.

When Tang Zheng left the fort with a wooden chair in hand, Li Muqing opened her eyes, a satisfied smile hung at the corner of her lips, he truly was a dependable man.

Tang Zheng took out a folding knife and magnesium rod and used a pile of wood shavings as kindling to start a campfire with fragments of the wooden chair. Then he pierced open the canned beef, added mineral water and rice and cooked a pot of meat porridge.

"This is great, I haven’t had a hot meal in days, it’s just been cold black bread." Li Muqing put on her silk stockings, didn’t put on her pants, only wearing her top as she walked out; she wanted to show as much allure as she could and make Tang Zheng fall for her.

"Without explosives, we can’t destroy the passage below." Tang Zheng wore all the supplies he could carry, although it was a bit troublesome, it would save some of the usage of supplies.

"Being by your side is the safest place in the world." Li Muqing complimented Tang Zheng once, kneeled next to him, licked the corner of her mouth and smiled, "Thank you!"

"Conserve your strength." Tang Zheng shook his head, he remembered the unopened ’Sweet Spring’ recovery potion, but his current stamina was sufficient.

"People!" On seeing a pair of figures approaching, Li Muqing immediately forgot about teasing Tang Zheng, grabbed his arm and pointed them out.

The woman he had seen yesterday was holding her daughter’s hand tightly, walking across the frontline that had just experienced a fierce battle. They looked bewildered, ready to flee at the slightest rustle.

"Brother, I’ve come to see you." Little Taisi let down her cloak, fixated on the meat porridge over the fire. She greedily sniffed the fragrance wafting through the air and swallowed saliva. She could no longer remember her last meat meal.

"Sit down, I’ll split a can with you in a bit."

Little Taisi cheered, sat next to Tang Zheng, leaned on him, her eyes sparkling as she stared at the meat porridge, curiously reaching out to touch the rising steam, giggling.

After seeing the appearance of that woman, Li Muqing lost her hostility. This type of woman, Tang Zheng surely would not be interested in. Then she turned her attention to Taisi. Although this little Lolita is flat chested and buttless, she’s pretty.

"What are you doing?" Li Muqing’s tone was unkind, she regarded Tang Zheng as her private property, which no one else was allowed to touch.

"The Beastmen have invaded, I came to see how he’s holding up." The woman smiled broadly, trying to make a good impression on Li Muqing. From the woman’s demeanor, she could guess the relationship between the two, and a sense of frustration arose in her heart, it seems she wouldn’t be able to capitalize on this.’

"I’ll go." Li Muqing jumped up, planning to secretly keep half, but the blonde Lolita was quicker. She kissed Tang Zheng and ran towards the fort.

Watching them, Li Muqing felt a little sad and wanted to give them her portion of the meat porridge, but she couldn’t bear to. She was also hungry.

"Save this for dinner." Tang Zheng handed his portion to the blonde Lolita and picked up a piece of black bread to chew on.

The blonde Lolita looked terrified and tried to refuse, but in the end she accepted. She felt that she should repay her brother, and of course, if she could marry him, that would be the best.
