Chapter 1435: Chapter 24 Black Orcs Assault (2nd Update)

Ferocious Black Orcs made a powerful entrance, getting tangled with the Conquerors and nearly turning the tide of battle. Motivated by this, the ordinary Green Skin soldiers surged in morale, becoming even more frenzied and fearlessly charging.

The heavy machine gun on the Power Armor required at least thirty hits to the head to kill a Black Orc, but the distance was too short for effective suppression fire, and they easily closed in on their targets.

Black Orcs and the Human Empire were arch-enemies; they were too familiar with each other’s standard equipment and had developed specific tactics.

Two Black Orcs approached Dong Zixuan. One drew fire and threw a Grenade, while the other, using the smoke as cover, sneaked up from behind and wrapped around the Power Armor’s neck, plunging a Chainsaw Knife into the spot where the Energy Pack was installed.

With a piercing screech, the Chainsaw Knife breached the Armor and destroyed the Energy Pack.

Boom—a ball of flame erupted, and the Power Armor shut down.

"Move, come on, move!" Dong Zixuan pulled the control lever, sweating profusely in desperation. On the screen, she could see two Black Orcs overpowering the Power Armor, swinging their Chainsaw Knives towards its neck.

Bang—Gu Xueqi charged full speed with barbaric force, knocking away the two Black Orcs and shouted into the Communicator.

"Abandon the Armor!"

Dong Zixuan wasn’t a timid woman. Decisively, she opened the hatch and jumped out. The clear breeze passing through the forest mixed with the acrid smoke of battle, tickling her nose as a policewoman.

The Green Skin soldiers, thrilled, howled and rushed towards Dong Zixuan to pick off an easy target.

"Die!" The policewoman waved her hand, and suddenly, several fountains of flames burst from the ground, catching the charging Green Skins squarely, burning them into charred bodies like wooden stakes falling.

"With no Armor left, gather and form squads to face the enemy!" Qin Yan commanded in place of the actively fighting Tang Zheng.

The Black Orcs’ tactics were practical. Against Conquerors still unaccustomed to the Power Armor, they easily dismantled them, leaving only ten struggling within a minute.

Bang—another exploded. Yue Jing crawled out, dirt-streaked, and watched the Black Orc that had attacked him suddenly disappear, followed by its skull being shattered.

Several accompanying infantry hadn’t understood what happened when they were bodily separated, dying immediately.

Yue Jing reappeared, holding a still-bleeding Orc head, and roared skyward. He was angry and frustrated—why, when using the same Power Armor, did Tang Zheng last longer than him?

The commander bellowed, ordering the Black Orcs to ignore the unarmed Humans and focus attacks on the Power Armor. Usually, unarmed Humans were no match for the onslaught of the Orcs, but today, they hit a hard nail.

The Conquerors, donning their Power Armor, did so merely to conserve Life Energy; even bare-bodied, with their abilities intact, they had no trouble overwhelming the Black Orcs.

Green Skin soldiers surged forward only for the ground beneath them to become pits of magma, into which they fell and were incinerated, leaving no trace.

Ruan Feifei stood atop Armor wreckage, her right hand’s fingertips crackling with Electric Arcs. Then, with a swing of her arm, the electricity surged, forming a long dragon that slew all Orcs in its path. The nearby ones, yet untouched, sighed in relief, but the electric dragon split, spreading arcs in all directions.

One by one, black, curled bodies fell to the ground, electrocuted.

"Look at Tang Zheng, so impressive!" Fu Tianxiao ran over, part in astonishment at Tang Zheng’s combat prowess, part in flattery, hoping to gain favor.

As the team’s lead, Tang Zheng was besieged by hundreds of Black Orcs. But not only did he hold his ground, he was continuously reaping the lives of his enemies.

At this moment, six Power Armors remained on the battlefield, with Queen Mu’s Armor being the most intact, wildly attacking like a whirlwind, ferociously targeting the commander.

Pang Meiqin, due to having handling experience with more complex Angel of Annihilations and an exceptionally high physical quality, found operating the Power Armor almost like playing a game, while Xu Biyun relied on her gaming talent to hang on despite being hit many times and nearly reaching her breaking point.

Indeed, Gu Xueqi was a genius. Relying on her extraordinary perception, she endured until now, but physically, she was straining too much; her forehead was covered in sweat, barely persevering. Yet despite this, the Conquerors viewed her with newfound respect, worthy of being the third-ranking rookie.

Usually unobtrusive, Qin Yan grew even more reserved after being rejected by Tang Zheng. But besides her authoritative aura and stunning beauty, everyone had nearly forgotten that she was the second strongest in the team.

Sister Qin was not only beautiful but also possessed qualities and depth, absolutely belonging in the Elite-class, maneuvering her Power Armor while having slain over a dozen Black Orcs with minimal damage on herself.

"These women are terrifying!" Xiaobai gasped, having initially thought that, with so many women in the Warhammer team, they were merely for show, existing for Tang Zheng’s amusement. Yet now, it seemed they could hold their own.

"Even so, combined, their war results aren’t as high as Tang Zheng’s," Fu Tianxiao grumbled, now only having eyes for Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng’s Power Armor was heavily damaged, not due to his lack of strength, but because the swarm of Black Orcs, even Orc Shamans were casting Electric shots at him.

Tang Zheng’s fingers danced rapidly over the keyboard, pulling the lever, his Power Armor suddenly leapt into the air, evading the onrushing Black Orcs surrounding him, then the thrusters kicked in, blasting out an Orange-Red tail flame. Tang Zheng executed a 360-degree turn mid-air, aiming his machine gun at the Black Orcs below and firing.

Bang, bang, bang, being the team leader’s machine, his gun had more power; thus, the Black Orcs were heavily damaged. Before they could disperse, a dozen Grenades fell like hail, scattering among them.

Boom, boom, the deafening explosions engulfed the eight Black Orcs in flames as shockwaves scattered the ground dust wildly.

Tang Zheng landed, and immediately, two more leapt at him from behind; he swung his arm and sent them flying, then aimed and pulled the trigger.

Click, click, the sound of an empty chamber echoed; Tang Zheng had used up a whole ten thousand rounds of reserve ammunition, resulting in seventy-six corpses and numerous burning war chariots.

"No more ammo!" Fu Tianxiao exclaimed but then noticed that the members of the Warhammer group were not worried at all, which implied they had considerable trust in their handsome group leader.

With a thud, Tang Zheng punched the release button; the arm cannon and the ammunition box on his back fell off, crashing to the ground.

The horde of Black Orcs charged again; Tang Zheng grabbed the ammunition box with one hand and hurled it out while drawing a chainsaw knife with his right, commencing melee combat.

As the chainsaw blade wildly rotated, it chopped into the bodies of the Black Orcs, flinging flesh and blood chaotically.

The Conquerors were also fighting, killing those Green Skin soldiers, but they were somewhat distracted, their eyes continually glancing towards Tang Zheng.

"That’s the eighty-second."

"Yes, he surpassed Queen Mu’s kill count a while ago."

"Just the captain’s kill count alone is blowing us out of the water."

"Comparing yourself to him, aren’t you just asking for discomfort?"

Ruan Feifei still had the leisure to count corpses, frustrating Fu Tianxiao; overhearing their matter-of-fact discussion, she suddenly recalled when had their team’s combat ever been so relaxed?

"Don’t waste life energy."

Seeing lightning and magma devastating the Beastmen on the screen, Tang Zheng’s voice boomed from the speaker, "Form small teams for combat, support each other!"

The Warhammer team was numerous and well-coordinated, resembling a well-oiled mechanical fighting machine; Yue Jing’s team, on the other hand, couldn’t manage that; they had to constantly use their abilities just to protect themselves.

"Charge with me!" The old soldier was honest but not foolish; he certainly wasn’t about to let Yue Jing’s group take advantage; saying they were charging was actually leading his team away, leaving them behind.

Yue Jing’s group, lacking support, had to frequently use their abilities to suppress the Black Orcs, a situation that almost drove Yue Jing mad yet leaving him helpless.

"You guys are too selfish, help us out!" Xiaobai shouted, feeling desperate as their side’s kill count wasn’t high to begin with, but the consumption was enormous.

"Can’t handle it? You want to join our group?" Pang Meiqin’s single retort blocked any comeback from Xiaobai.

"Can you handle it?" Tang Zheng, having grabbed a Shaman’s head and crushed it with brute force, then threw the corpse at the Green Skin Soldiers, asked Mu Nianqi, "Need support?"

"No need," Mu Nianqi was holding her ground against a Wild Bone Commander, definitely a minor boss-level entity with integrated attack and defense; heavy punches left deep dents in the armor.

On the screen, data scrambled, sparks burst at the joints; Mu Nianqi held on for a while, prepared to abandon the mech to kill it with her abilities; in a combat lineup, a single Wild Bone Orc could match ten captains’ mechs without falling short; based on mech performance alone, Queen Mu couldn’t take it down.

Bang, using the combat mech, the commander grabbed Queen Mu’s arm and whirled her onto the ground; a stomp nearly flattened her head.

"I don’t have time to waste on you." Tang Zheng sprinted over, swinging hard punches at the commander.

The commander turned, clashing fist for fist with Tang Zheng.

Bang, bang, bang, fierce collisions echoed resoundingly, air vibrated, the power armor joints couldn’t withstand such brutal impacts, wear accelerated, emitting sparks.

Tang Zheng didn’t step back an inch, his hand speed reached its limits; his iron fist, like a raging storm, swept over the commander.

Boom, boom, the mech couldn’t withstand such high-intensity output, continuously experiencing small-scale explosions, a series of parts flew off.

Tang Zheng executed a massive capture technique, throwing the commander on the ground, then pressing down hard, furiously smashing its face until it deformed.

Bang, Tang Zheng couldn’t deliver the final blow to the commander; the energy pack reached its power limit, exploded, and the power armor shut down.

The commander seized the moment, leaping up, arms trapping its head, viciously twisting it off.

"Be careful!" Li Huiwen had just shouted when Tang Zheng had already escaped in time, picking up the chainsaw knife from the ground and chopping at the commander’s neck.

Compared to the nearly three meters tall Wild Bone Orc, Tang Zheng was more than a meter shorter and much "slimmer", yet he was in no way inferior; the chainsaw knife left many wounds on its body, spewing blood.

Tang Zheng didn’t want to waste too much energy; a warrior suddenly appeared, drawing the narrow long battle knife from his waist, chopping it at the Wild Bone Orc’s neck, beheading it.
