Chapter 1422: Chapter 11 Teleportation Mishap (4th update, seeking monthly pass)

"What’s all this for? Canned sardines?" Lu Fan commented, but nobody picked up on his remark. Even Yu Deye, who seemed carefree, had brows heavy with worry that couldn’t be dispersed.

The room was too crowded with newbies; it had come to the point where people were rubbing shoulders. Due to Tang Zheng’s violent behavior, they dared not get close, leaving a space and making the newcomers press even closer together.

"Bastard, who’s touching my ass?" a woman abruptly shouted, only to quickly shut her mouth, fearing being singled out by the Conquerors.

"Divide up the firearms," Li Xinlan commanded as she handed an M4A1 carbine to Tang Zheng, along with several ammo clips.

"Where have you been? How could you get your hands on firearms?" Dong Zixuan was curious, given that these were American goods. Holding a Remington shotgun, she was reluctant to put it down.

"I went to Los Angeles to see a friend," Tang Zheng glanced at the newbies with an imperceptible look, suspecting that there must be Conquerors of Hero Level hidden among them.

"Does this mean we’re going to participate in a survival game next? If we don’t make it, we die, right?" The man with a square face leaned close to the old soldier, overhearing his conversation with Zhou Anbang.

"I know, is it like a battle royale? Then where is the person controlling us?" A university student bravely stepped forward, knowing that to acquire weapons, he needed to communicate and build rapport with these people to have a better chance at survival compared to the ordinary newbies.

The newbies all looked at Tang Zheng, waiting for an explanation, when suddenly a rock version of the International Song started playing, startling many of them.

"Toys, please me with your worthless lives and sweet blood!" The Black Cube floated up, displaying the profiles of this round’s players on its screen, before freezing on a line of blood-soaked text.

"Are you the mastermind behind this?" someone in the crowd challenged the Trojan.

"Shut up, from now on, complete silence, or you will receive punishment. In one minute, you will participate in a survival game. Please try your best!"

The Silver Trojan was unusually to the point, with no superfluous chatter or mischievous, venomous taunts. Instead, it directly opened the hollow steel frame on the floor, revealing a dense array of weapons.

"Don’t push, line up to take one!" Without Tang Zheng instructing, the old soldier and the gaming girl had already stood in front of the steel frame, maintaining order.

The countdown began, causing some of the newcomers to panic; some cunning individuals ignored the warnings, eager to get their hands on the weapons first.

"Back off, haven’t you heard what the old soldier said?" Sha Ou kicked away an unfortunate newbie with a fierce look that served as a lesson to the others.

"Why do we need to prepare in reality if there are weapons here?" Dong Zixuan, catching an 03-style assault rifle tossed to her by the gaming girl, was puzzled.

"Because these items may be restricted," the Silver Trojan oddly responded, but its contradictory statement left the Conquerors in confusion.

"What do you mean? If you’re going to restrict equipment, why bother telling us to bring our own? Are you out of your mind?" Ruan Feifei was frustrated, "Doesn’t that leave the survivors from the China Region at a huge disadvantage? This place has strict gun laws!"

"Sorry, I cannot answer questions outside of my authority," the Trojan wanted to point out the essence of the situation to these people, but it was constrained by the rules and couldn’t speak up.

"Silver Trojan, does this mean you can’t activate your omniscient God-mode in this Theme World?" Lu Fan suddenly thought of a possibility, "What are you exactly?"

"Nothing to disclose." The Trojan yelled at the newbies who had acquired the silver boxes, "If you want to survive, quickly put on the Protective Clothing because as soon as you land in the game, you could immediately come under attack."

"It’s Level A Protective Clothing and Level A Magnetic Storm Rifles; the newbies are really getting the good stuff this time!" Dantai Zongqi commented teasingly, but the Conquerors were not amused.

Given the Silver Trojan’s evil taste, the better the equipment it provided, the higher the difficulty level of the game.

"Silver, in this Theme World, you can’t activate that all-powerful God-mode anymore, can you? Are you sending us to pioneer a new world?" Tang Zheng reflected on Miranda’s intel.

The Conquerors were clueless and stared at the Trojan with astonishment. A new world? That was too incredible.

"Nothing to disclose. There are thirty seconds left until teleportation begins. Please get ready." The Trojan couldn’t speak; this was a core secret.

"The equipment will be restricted, and from what you’ve implied, could there be Trojans in the new world too? Or something that resists you?" Tang Zheng’s brain was working at maximum speed.

The Trojan remained silent before stating "nothing to disclose" again. This was the only way it could warn Team Warhammer, or else their fate would likely be a team annihilation.

"First, give us our Space Wristwatches and equipment!" Wei Binbai urged, "We’re already here, and idle speculations will only lower morale. It’s best to just forge ahead."

A man with gold-framed glasses used his Ability undetected to retrieve his full set of Equipment stored with the Trojan.

"What’s this mission about?" Dong Zixuan, having not suffered too much, was somewhat eager to try.

"Parasite Eve, kill everyone you perceive as an enemy!" The Trojan, unusually, did not demand payment of Points, but the answer was vague.

"I’ll offer a thousand Points for a more detailed explanation of the victory conditions," Tang Zheng remained calm, sensing something ominous from the Trojans’ attitude.

"Nothing to disclose." The Trojan actually didn’t know either, and it dared not tell these Toys for fear they would lose their nerve before the battle even began.

"You’re playing us?" Wei Binbai was annoyed, being at Hero Level, he wasn’t too afraid of Silver.

"The mission will be complete, and I’ll notify you."

The countdown was about to end, and Trojan rarely reminded the newbies again.

"Toys, please note that the death rate this time is almost one hundred percent. If you want to live, listen to Scum Tang, no, listen to the good Mr. Tang, the Group Leader!"

"You finally said something humane!" Lu Fan, carrying his rifle and hands on hips, praised.

Hearing the word ’humans,’ the Trojan’s screen seemed to flicker with static, while the newbies looked toward Tang Zheng, unsure whether to trust him.

Teleportation began, and the bodies of the toys disappeared.

"All members of the Warhammer Team, I wish you good luck and look forward to your triumphant return!" The Silver Trojan actually sent a blessing at the end.

Looking at the empty room, the Trojan felt lonely and played a healing song, but moments later, it screamed.

"Damn it, teleportation error, login failed!"

Not only in the Asia Region, but the areas governed by the Red Trojan and the Blue Trojan also encountered the same serious situation, and the survivors were yet to know.

"That sharp-tongued Silver wished us well? Did I hear that right?" Sha Ou cleaned his ears, initially wanting to make a joke, but he was stunned by the scene in front of him.

The newbies were all dumbfounded, then began to tremble with fear.

This was a bloody battlefield that had just experienced a slaughter, the soil soaked red, and countless corpses piled up, with bomb craters everywhere.

"Look over there!" Zhou Anbang smelled the scent of war, pointed to high ground, and whispered a report, then waved his hand, signaling everyone to crouch down to reduce exposure.

Some of the timid newbies screamed because the high ground was lined with wooden spikes, each impaling a human head, none closing their eyes in death. Gu Xueqi roughly counted—they were close to a thousand.

The newbies began to vomit, and some even cried out.

"Don’t panic, newbies wear Protective Clothing, Xin Lan, Fanfan, set up defense, the rest cooperate!" Tang Zheng quickly gave orders, his calm and collected demeanor also influenced the newbies.

The man with gold-rimmed glasses glanced at Tang Zheng and nodded slightly; this Group Leader was competent.

"What are you standing around for? Looking for death? Get dressed fast!" Sha Ou kicked a newbie who was too embarrassed, "What? Waiting for me to find you a changing room?"

"The Wristwatch is indeed restricted." Gu Xueqi attempted to take out a Telescope to observe the distance, unfortunately without success.

"Nianqi, does this team have too many Conquerors?" Wei Binbai was astonished, "And all of them with standard Space Wristwatches, when did these become so cheap?"

Queen Mu shrugged her shoulders, the Warhammer Team might not have strong power, but ants could kill an elephant.

"I’ve always said that mobbing is the way to go." Being at Hero Level, Yu Deye was confident and could still joke around, "But to save so many people, this guy doesn’t have a moral cleanliness obsession, right? Hey, girl, stop turning over corpses, this isn’t an online game, are you planning to scavenge some gold coins from his body?"

"I’ve played Parasite Eve, definitely not this kind of scene." The gamer girl ignored Yu Deye’s unrestrained mouth, "It does resemble the world of Warhammer though, these damaged Power Armors look like standard equipment for Star Soldiers."

"Let’s leave this place and collect any usable weapons along the way." This was a plain, if attacked, there was nowhere to take cover. Tang Zheng pointed to a sparse forest line a few hundred meters to the right, "Bai Guo, Yu Deye, Lin Jing, you three go scout ahead."

"Paired with a baby-faced, busty beauty? I like that." Yu Deye seemed nonchalant, but Tang Zheng would not be fooled by him; a fool would never make it to Hero Level.

"I’ll accompany her." Lin Fachan was worried about his girlfriend going alone; she belonged to the Shooting series and had good vision, so she was naturally chosen.

Tang Zheng nodded and led the team forward. The Power Armors on the corpses were damaged, and seeing those fist-sized bullet holes, the Conquerors were silent – this implied even 7.62 caliber firearms couldn’t penetrate the defense, so their weapons were no better than sticks, while the enemy’s weapons were more advanced.

Tang Zheng rummaged through a relatively intact Corpse and pulled out a half-foot long High-Frequency Particle Vibration Knife from the armor’s leg.

Lu Fan picked up the oversized Handgun and handed it to Tang Zheng.

"Here, Uncle Lin, look for some Bullets!" Tang Zheng felt like he was scavenging, even a single bullet was critical.

"What’s that sound?" Wei Binbai’s ears twitched, a humming of engines came from the sky, and everyone looked up to see a Landing ship emerge in the distance.

"Friend or foe? Should we draw an SOS?" Ruan Feifei wanted to try negotiating, but then the cannon beneath the aircraft began to fire, strafing towards them.
