Tang Zheng moved like a tuna navigating waters filled with reefs, dodging Energy Spheres while counterattacking with the Queen’s Roar. Those hit were directly vaporized, not even leaving ashes behind.

Lin Weiguo couldn’t be bothered to dodge. A circular shield formed a meter in front of him, catching the Energy Spheres and halting their trajectory. Amidst the explosion’s shockwave, his chest-mounted Energy Cannon gathered energy and fired, carving a trench into the ground as he flew, like a razor mercilessly slicing through the earth.

A car bisected by a Beam Saber erupted into two halves, the molten edges glowing orange-red, and then exploded into a fireball with a loud bang.

Every second, more people died. The attackers in black grew afraid. Despite being fully armed and strong in firepower, they couldn’t block the onslaught.

Two black-clad attackers ran towards an overturned Bulletproof Truck, attempting to release two Synthetic Beasts from the carriage, bred as biological weapons to combat powerful Alien Species.

Although Tang Zheng didn’t know what was inside, his caution prompted him to shoot two Impact Beams. The two attackers had just approached the truck when their upper bodies vaporized, their charred lower halves falling over.

An attacker reached the dead Captain, pulled an RC Unit from his pocket, and pressed it—Bang, the truck’s carriage exploded, sending metal debris flying and embedding into the road surface.

This was a device permitted only in emergencies. Upon releasing the Synthetic Beasts, a Potion would be injected into them to induce a frenzy, greatly enhancing their attack power while significantly reducing their Vitality. They would only survive for at most ten minutes, as it’s easier to recover a corpse that doesn’t resist.

The attacker aimed the RC Unit at Hammer Squad, snapping their photos and sending them to the Synthetic Beasts.

A car was smashed towards Lin Weiguo like a baseball, its draft sending paper scraps and pebbles flying everywhere. The Old Soldier threw a punch, and with a creaking sound, sent the car flying.

Hidden behind the cars, the Synthetic Beasts took advantage of their cover to stay out of the Old Soldier’s sight and launched a sudden attack.

"What the hell is this?" Lin Weiguo dodged quickly, but was still struck by the passing Synthetic Beast, tumbling away.

Another one pounced toward Tang Zheng.

The exterior of the Synthetic Beast resembled a giant ape magnified tenfold, strong and extremely agile. It had no skin, but a hard, keratinous layer covered with armor. Impact Beams could only create small craters upon striking it, ordinary bullets were completely useless.

The pouncing strength of the Synthetic Beast was tremendous; each step it took left a footprint on the ground.

Tang Zheng went full throttle with his thruster, colliding with the Synthetic Beast—bam—they both flew backward. He regained his balance and lunged again, striking the creature’s head hard, then wrapped his arms around it, the Energy Cannon on his chest firing a blast.

The armor of the Synthetic Beast began to liquefy, the hot metal liquid hissing as it fell to the ground. It swung its arms, aiming to smash Tang Zheng’s head.

Tang Zheng flew away from the Synthetic Beast, unleashing all his weapons in a salvo. Explosions and shock waves engulfed it, destroying half a street block.

The Synthetic Beast was severely injured, but not dead. It darted out of the smoke, charging towards Tang Zheng.

"Send that one over here!" Tang Zheng didn’t want to waste time on these two Alien Species.

Lin Weiguo and Bai Guo teamed up, suppressing another one. Upon hearing this, Lin Weiguo kicked out, sending the Synthetic Beast flying towards Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng casually caught its neck flesh, passing by the other one. With his right hand, he snatched that one up too, and then rocketed straight up like a missile, pierced through the clouds, and reached a high altitude of ten thousand meters in an instant.

The two Synthetic Beasts struggled violently. After Tang Zheng broke the sound barrier, the air rushed past, creating a sonic boom behind him, leaving the beasts with their iron-like lungs unable to breathe.

The Gatling Machine Guns on his shoulders fired, his eyes intermittently shooting out Light Beams to disrupt the attacks of the two Synthetic Beasts. After a dozen seconds, he had flown very high, temperature plummeting, ice starting to form on the Alien Species and Hellfire, quickly freezing them.

Data flickered chaotically on the screen in front of him, warning Tang Zheng about his altitude as the power of the thruster began to decline, but he paid no heed and continued to ascend. The Alien Species had obviously undergone tests in extreme environments; even in this state, they were still alive, though their attack power was significantly reduced.

Tang Zheng let them go, leaving the Synthetic Beasts to free fall. He couldn’t be bothered to kill them himself; the fall from such a height meant certain death.

After he entered the stratosphere, the ice on the Hellfire crumbled and melted, and finally, he regained full speed, plummeting down like a sword piercing through the vault of heaven.

The street rushed up rapidly in Tang Zheng’s vision, and before he even got close to the ground, the airflow had cleared away the debris. He landed steadily and glanced back at the men in black who weren’t following, then chased after the bus ahead.

As he headed towards the Iron Canned Head’s direction, pedestrians gaped in shock, only later remembering to take photos with their mobile phones, but unfortunately, they couldn’t even catch a glimpse of the tail.
