Chapter 1350: Chapter 26 The Fall

The Green Giant opened its mouth wide, angrily roaring, the air wave it exhaled was visible to the naked eye, almost tearing the eardrums.

"Retreat quickly!" Lin Fachan shielded Lin Jing, firing his gun, but the Green Giant didn’t even turn on its shield; its body alone blocked all the bullets.

Tang Zheng waved his right hand, and the Storm Hammer spun as it flew out, with electric arcs disengaging from it, snapping and crackling, leaving a blue electric trail in the air.

Boom, the Green Giant met the Warhammer with its arm, sending it flying, and charged wildly, each step leaving a footprint on the floor, the oppressive feeling was overwhelming.

Tang Zheng caught the Warhammer as it flew back to him with one hand, the Mother Empress roared with continuous fire, and because the Green Giant was so huge, taking up the entire passage, all the energy balls hit their mark. Unfortunately, they only caused minor flesh wounds and couldn’t seriously damage it.

The Green Giant, enraged, smashed its right hand against the wall, then grabbed and tore off a chunk of concrete, and with a bang, hurled it at Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng dodged, the concrete block sped towards him, and an unfortunate escort stuck her head out of the door frame to see what was happening outside, coincidentally colliding with the concrete block.

Bang, as if her head was sheared off by a speeding cannon shell, the escort’s entire head was gone, blood gushing out like a fountain, splattering onto the floor and wall.

The corpse fell, scaring the women behind almost out of their wits.

After assessing his combat power, Tang Zheng decisively entered Hero Mode and charged at the Green Giant.

Boom, the two collided solidly, neither giving way, but the floor couldn’t bear the destruction and cracked open.

The Giant, missing its footing, flailed its fists, throwing the concrete chunks toward Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng pulled the Shadow Cloak and teleported behind the Giant, firing directly at its head. The energy ball struck the back of its head, blowing off a patch of hair.

The Green Giant twisted its waist and swung its arm, turning to counterattack just as Tang Zheng swung his Warhammer, hitting it squarely on the temples. Had it been an ordinary person, not only would their eyeballs have popped out, their brain pulp would’ve burst open, but this creature continued its mad onslaught as if nothing had happened.

The Green Giant reached out its large hand, grasping for Tang Zheng’s head, and after being dodged, it caught the Warhammer and spun around, slamming it into the ground.

As he neared the ground, Tang Zheng used the Magic Mirror to teleport, appearing above the Green Giant’s head and started hammering mindlessly. The Mother Empress crystal summoned a clone which joined the pounding.

Daylily appeared, spreading a bonus halo before quickly disappearing again. She had weak resistance to strikes and would likely perish if brushed by the Green Giant.

The Green Giant, failing to handle Tang Zheng, grew even more irate.

"Such thick skin!" Tang Zheng, now in full firepower, gradually suppressed the Green Giant. It would take some time to kill a monster that principally relied on defense since he couldn’t achieve a one-hit kill.

Pang Meiqin’s Hell’s Song fired single shots, hitting the Green Lantern accurately, but all were blocked by a green light shield. Hearing the battle’s furious roars outside, she decisively left the monster and went to support Tang Zheng.

To quickly resolve the fight and assist Tang Zheng, Qin Yan had already entered Hero Mode, expanding Shadow Country for a fierce attack on the Green Lantern.

Mu Nianqi released the Northern Wind Ring, and her two clones also appeared mysteriously, strangling the Green Lantern.

At this point, the battle had been going for less than a minute, yet aside from the immobilized Conquerors, everyone else felt the intensity of the scene.

Gu Xueqi unleashed the Flame Phoenix, and as the Pumpkin Carriage flew out, scattering slow and weak halos, the movements of the Green Giant and Green Lantern immediately slowed, with a dark shadow enveloping them.

Tao Ran’s Time-Space Blackfish swam behind the Green Giant, continuously biting its head; Ai Yixin, having undergone Diamond Transformation, also pounced on the Green Giant. She was still somewhat cautious, staying beside Tang Zheng not only for safety but also to show her eagerness, otherwise, no matter how much she performed, it wouldn’t have the same visual impact.

Ice spears condensed above the Green Giant’s head then plunged down, piercing its skin and shattering on the ground. They quickly reformed and stabbed upward from the opposite direction.

Lin Weiguo activated Giant Guard, his body inscribed with golden runes, and charged at the Green Giant. The monster appeared formidable, even more so than the Green Lantern, and so naturally became the prime target.

Bai Guo stealthily approached the Green Lantern and suddenly appeared, firing an Energy-Gathering Arrow at its back from the Fallen Star.

After taking a close-range hit and the previous relentless assault, the Green Lantern’s shield shattered. Qin Yan liquified, moved underneath it, and the Energy Gun Stings formed a thicket, firing randomly.

The Green Lantern dodged, but was still pierced, then hit by Mu Nianqi’s Northern Wind Ring, those air blades were omnipresent, and the trouble was her clones were also unpredictable, not to mention, this was not yet Queen Mu’s ultimate skill.

The Green Lantern, enraged, sought to vent its frustration on Bai Guo. Turning around, it found not a soul in sight.

Bai Guo appeared behind the Green Lantern once again, and this time, she used her sure-kill technique. The Dragon Slayer Armor-piercing Arrow, glowing brilliantly, penetrated the Green Lantern’s body, with both its corrosive and potent poison effects taking hold, which drastically weakened the Green Lantern’s combat power.

The Green Lantern swiftly turned around, and his eyes emitted light beams. Bai Guo became invisible, but the light beams did not disappear; like a laser blade, they swept across with a 360-degree horizontal slash.

Qin Yan and the others dodged, worried about Bai Guo’s safety, when she emerged from the Green Lantern’s shadow and stabbed the Dragon’s Sharp Edge into its throat.

Bai Guo kicked the Green Lantern’s chin, and while performing a somersault, she drew her longbow and released a second Dragon Slayer Armor-piercing Arrow. It burrowed into the Green Lantern’s throat, tearing away the flesh and exposing the spine, causing its head to hang limply to one side.

The Green Lantern was not yet dead. Green energy converged at the breach, and the flesh began to wriggle and regenerate rapidly.

Mu Nianqi was too slow to act, Qin Yan’s Shadow Country was akin to a domain, elevating her combat capabilities. She moved with almost teleportation-like speed as she emerged in the Green Lantern’s vicinity—not just on the ground, but all around in the space, numerous Energy Gun Stings suddenly shot out.

The Green Lantern was impaled mid-air, blood dripping profusely as it struggled violently.

Qin Yan appeared, and her Magic Gun pierced through the Green Lantern’s eye sockets, stabbing straight through.

Bai Guo knelt on the ground, panting heavily. Those two strikes had almost drained all her strength; it was incredibly hard to seize such a fleeting opportunity to attack, and she wouldn’t have had the chance if not for the attention Qin Yan and Mu Nianqi—two members of the Powerful Party—drew from the Green Lantern.

With the death of the Green Lantern, it disintegrated into a wisp of smoke, dispersing into the air, leaving behind only the green skintight uniform and an emerald-inlaid ring.

"The spoils of war are yours!" Mu Nianqi was quite proud. Although she contributed significantly, she didn’t even glance at the dropped items and turned to support Tang Zheng. Of course, this generous act was also because Bai Guo’s bravery and Qin Yan’s fighting spirit had won her favor. If it had been Ruan Feifei or Pang Meiqin, they wouldn’t have received such favorable treatment.

"Sister Qin Yan, I’m going to help Tang Zheng." Bai Guo disappeared into invisibility, not taking any spoils of war. She had long wanted to repay the support she had received from her older sister figure.

Qin Yan picked up the ring, feeling both gratified and moved.

The Green Lantern Ring, an SSS-Class Item, could materialize most weapons. Even if it was shaped like an A-grade item, its power was of SSS level, capable of demonic and spiritual breaks, an extraordinary piece of equipment that played the fool to eat the tiger—one shot to conquer all. It could form shields, transform into various vehicles, and create different pieces of clothing; note that the limit of your imagination defines how far this ring can take you.

Under the pressure from Tang Zheng and his team, the Green Giant was exhausted and covered with wounds. Ai Yixin and Lin Weiguo held their ground as meat shields, steadily taking the brunt of the attacks, allowing the others to attack with confidence.

"Send a few people over to Qin Yan’s side." While pleased to see many people voluntarily aiding his side, Tang Zheng was also concerned for Qin Yan’s safety.

"With Mu Nianqi there, there will definitely be no problems." Pang Meiqin’s attacks were large and wild. The Ripper left a slash mark on the Green Giant every time, with broken flesh caught on the serrations.

"Thanks for your trust!" Queen Mu appeared, and after mocking Pang Meiqin with a word, she joined the battle, which made the Green Giant’s situation even more miserable.

"Is something happening?" Hearing the battle below, Xu Liangmao lifted the blanket and got up, only to stagger from weakness and almost fall.

"What are you doing?" Li Huiwen ran over angrily, trying to stop Xu Liangmao and push him back to bed.

"Get out of the way; it’s none of your business." Xu Liangmao was not used to hitting women, but if it were Sha Ou, he would’ve slapped him already.

"Xu Liangmao, do you think too highly of yourself? Don’t you know your own weight? Without you, can’t others live?" What Li Huiwen couldn’t stand the most was Xu Liangmao’s honest stubbornness, which, to put it bluntly, was plain stupidity. This was always the case at work, where misfortune would always befall him, and he would never learn to refuse.

"I just want to do what’s my responsibility. It was Tang Zheng who helped me; I’m only alive because of him." Xu Liangmao had a simple mindset: to help Tang Zheng share the burden and repay his indebtedness.

"You idiot, I won’t let you go." Li Huiwen pushed hard on Xu Liangmao’s shoulder, toppling him over. Ran Mei lay at the door, her face turning pale with fright, "There’s a dead body."

Xu Liangmao looked at Li Huiwen in surprise. When was the last time she cared so much about him?

"Alright, if you want to throw your life away, I won’t stop you. Why don’t you tell me how you got superpowers?" Li Huiwen took a deep breath, her complexion cooling down, "Don’t rush to glare at me. Both of us are here. If we die, who will take care of our daughter?"

Xu Liangmao initially thought Li Huiwen was just eager for power for her own sake, but hearing these words, he fell silent. Tang Zheng had given him a seed, but he had not brought it out due to his wife’s character.

"I’ve left ten million for our daughter; it’s enough for their lifetime!" Xu Liangmao reflexively refused.

"Aren’t they minors? Aren’t you afraid your parents will give the money to your bastard younger brother?" Li Huiwen knew Xu Liangmao’s character like the back of her hand after years of marriage. His daughters were his weakness.
