"What are we afraid of? She wouldn’t dare to kill!" The women comforted themselves, mustering courage to swarm over and try to push her away.

Ada’s hand flashed like lightning, pulling the handgun from her leg holster, pushing forward fiercely, parting Qian Rong’s red lips and thrusting it in.

Qian Rong screamed, the gun barrel banged painfully against her teeth, but immediately clamped her mouth shut as she saw Ada’s finger tightening on the trigger.

"Ada, don’t kill!" The door next door opened, and Qin Yan stepped out, as a summons of Tang Zheng, Ada would execute his orders a hundred percent, she wouldn’t hesitate to kill just because newbies were teammates.

Ada glanced at Qin Yan, her long white leg suddenly lifted, kicking fiercely into Qian Rong’s stomach, sending her flying.

"Get back to your rooms," Qin Yan said, closing the door, the newbies didn’t dare stick around any longer and left as quickly as they could.

Pock-marked Face and Director Zhang looked enviously at the beautiful Ada, their hearts filled with all sorts of envy and hate, they wanted to survive, they wanted everything.

The old sanitation worker sat beside his granddaughter’s bed, eyes bloodshot, unable to sleep, constantly worried.

"Brother, where did you go?" His sister couldn’t sleep, instantly her face lit up with joy when she saw his brother arrive, but she kept her voice soft so as not to wake the girl.

"Look what I’ve found?" The brother held up a book bag, taking out a can of canned fruit like a treasured find and waved it at his sister.

The sister shifted aside, making some space, and the brother took a seat.

"Feeling better?" The brother twisted the lid off the canned fruit, offering it to his sister, "Try some, Uncle Lin is quite reasonable actually."

The little girl was woken up, eyeing the canned fruit in her sister’s hand, clutched her grandfather’s hand tightly, the sound of her swallowing loud, alerting the brother.

"You eat too!" The sister said with a smile, pushing her brother.

"There’s plenty left, enough for everyone," the brother said generously, unscrewing the canned food and handing it to the little girl. "How old are you? You seem so mature!"

"I’m eleven, thank you!" The girl said thanks, her smile sweet, though her pale complexion made her look very weak.

"Stay here, I’ll be back," the grandfather sighed, fearing that he might not survive, but what would become of his granddaughter? He planned to speak with Tang Zheng.

"Come back soon!" The little girl was very sensible, trying not to trouble others.

The old man failed to meet Tang Zheng, as Ada showed no mercy to anyone, so he had no choice but to turn to Lin Weiguo, who he viewed as a reliable man. However, before they could start their conversation, an unexpected attack interrupted them.

Shen Qingshuang was in the living room, surfing the internet on her laptop, while Lin Fachan and his girlfriend continued to show off their love. Six Newbies grabbed for labor were drinking and passing time.

Without any warning, a black vortex appeared, sending debris flying around the living room. The Newbies hadn’t even reacted when a man burst out from it.

"What’s going on? Punishment troops?" Shen Qingshuang checked the time; it wasn’t even close to three days, but he immediately blew a whistle as an alarm.

In a room on the second floor, a Teleportation Gate appeared randomly, and a man in a green tight uniform nonchalantly walked out, wearing a green eye mask.

The Newbies, upon seeing this uninvited guest, were stunned, but there were always some who were fierce, led by a man with scars. He aimed his Thunderstorm Assault Rifle at the Green Man.

Thunderballs roared out, aiming at the Green Man.

"Green Lantern?" A young man who liked American comics recognized the costume, but, unfortunately, this ’Green Lantern’ showed up as part of a special Punishment Squad, spreading death rather than maintaining peace.

The Green Lantern stretched out his right hand, and the ring on his index finger emitted a green light, forming a Shield that blocked the Thunderballs. In the energy explosion, his left hand swept through the air, posed as if holding a gun, and a Gatling 6-Barrel Machine Gun appeared in his hand, connected to the power source, bullets screamed out wildly.

Two unlucky Newbies were instantly torn to shreds by bullets. The Newbies didn’t dare to engage further and rushed towards the door, hoping to escape. Scar Man cleverly fired at the wall, busting a hole to the next door.

The Green Lantern disabled the Shield and a Rocket Launcher appeared in his right hand, firing Rocket shells that chased Scar Man’s tail and shot into next door.

Boom, Ruan Feifei activated the Death Angel, intercepting the rocket shells, lunging over, and firing Hell’s Song.

The Green Lantern gave up chasing the Newbies, shot out light beams to intercept Pang Meiqin, and engaged in combat, just as Li Xinlan and Qin Yan rushed over after hearing the commotion.

Remaining on the second floor, Mu Nianqi reacted extremely fast, destroying the wall and rushing toward the battle scene.

The man who appeared in the living room was dressed in grey Cowboy work attire stained with oil. He initially failed to dodge the shots from Shen Qingshuang and Lin Fachan, and although he was hit head-on by both a Gravity Ball and a Magnetic Storm Ball, he didn’t die. Instead, his skin was just scraped, and then he went into a rage.

The man’s muscles swelled, his body shot up in height rapidly, and he turned green. With an angry roar, he charged at the nearest Newbie with forceful legs, shattering the floorboards and leaving two large footprints; rubble whipped up by the airflow scattered like bullets.

One Newbie was struck as if hit by a high-speed subway, bones breaking and flying away, while another was even less fortunate, grabbed by the Green Giant, and slammed to the ground like a burst airbag, spilling visceral organs and blood everywhere.

"The Green Giant?" Lin Fachan pulled his girlfriend behind him and retreated towards the staircase.

Shen Qingshuang made the same choice; the power the Green Giant displayed was far beyond their ability to contend with.

The Green Giant picked up a Sofa and hurled it at Lin Fachan, then, with a leap, he jumped toward Shen Qingshuang and swung his massive hand.

Lin Fachan smashed the Sofa aside and retreated with his girlfriend.

Shen Qingshuang ducked, the breeze from the Green Giant’s long arm grazing his Cheek.

Tang Zheng burst through the door and saw Mu Nianqi and the others fighting the Green Lantern, who was like a laser emitter, firing beams nonstop and even summoning various Weapons for attack.

The Green Lantern had a metallic lantern that, once recharged, could materialize thoughts into reality, making his attack methods unpredictable and difficult to defend against.

"You go downstairs!" Mu Nianqi was enough to fight against the Green Lantern and didn’t plan to let Tang Zheng join her in taking it down since that would mean certain death for many below.

Before Tang Zheng could run downstairs, he saw the Green Giant smash through the ceiling, blocking Shen Qingshuang and the others trying to retreat upstairs. In his hand was a chunk of concrete, which he hurled with his powerful strength at nearly sonic speeds, akin to a Cannon Shell, breaking through the wall.
