Chapter 1335 - 11 Detention Center

Chapter 1335: Chapter 11 Detention Center

The carriage was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, only Yu Liben’s heart-wrenching screams remained, but they too soon quieted down, aside from the occasional sound of breaking bones, the silence was terrifying.

The newbies all breathed a little lighter, afraid to provoke the irritable Xu Liangmao.

"Old Xu, that’s enough. If you keep hitting him, he’ll die," Lin Weiguo said as he hugged the honest man from behind, glancing at Li Huiwen without knowing what to say.

"Uncle Xu, save some energy. Later, just throw him to the Alien Species to eat," Xu Biyun argued in defense of the honest man. There are plenty of women in the world, no need to hang oneself on this one tree.

"Bitch!" Yu Liben was stubborn too, not showing a hint of regret even after being beaten to a pulp, and glared maliciously at Li Huiwen, "I should’ve taken you the first time I saw you."

The Old Soldier kicked out, landing a blow in Yu Liben’s back.

"What are you staring at? Come over here and sit," Xu Liangmao mumbled after a long silence, unfortunately Li Huiwen wasn’t in a grateful mood.

"You don’t need to worry about me. I’m not your wife," Li Huiwen said, looking at Xu Liangmao’s gullible expression, her anger not directed at a particular place. If you wanted to take care of me, you should’ve done it sooner.

Li Huiwen was just letting off steam, in such a cruel environment, she hardly had a choice, but then Xu Liangmao did something unexpected, he stopped talking and silently returned to his seat.

"Come and sit here!" It was Li Xinlan who was more empathetic and invited Li Huiwen over.

The pockmarked face looked at Li Huiwen and swallowed, fantasizing in his mind, and wore a sneer looking at Xu Liangmao.

"No matter how strong you are, your wife was still slept with by me!" The pockmarked face chuckled secretly, and then his gaze fell on the mature woman beside him, she looked as ripe and sweet as a juicy peach, he couldn’t wait to press her beneath him and ravage her.

The pockmarked face was indeed a lustful ghost, his love for women surpassed everything else.

Bang, a small fist suddenly appeared in front of the pockmarked face, directly poking in front of his nose, leaving him dizzy.

"What are you looking at? If you are so blatant again next time, I’ll gouge out your eyeballs," Lu Fan stood in front of the pockmarked face, her small face cold as she stared at him.

The Detention Center was located in the suburbs, about half an hour away, but in the meantime, the white man received a phone call, so the Bulletproof Truck turned off its path.

Near a check station, an old car stood still with a group of soldiers standing beside it, watching over a dozen people squatting on the ground with their heads in their hands.

These were smugglers, unfortunately caught.

Wearing sunglasses, the white man showed his ID, and was let through by the soldiers, approaching the smugglers.

"Stand up!" The black man kicked the butt of a dawdler, sizing them all up.

After five long minutes, the white man picked out a strong man and handcuffed him.

"Take the others away!" The white man opened the carriage, shoved the strong man in, and drove off.

The strong man was muscular and radiated a violent aura. As he sat in the carriage, he roared aggressively at Tang Zheng and another.

"No trouble, right? They won’t start fighting, will they?" The black man actually hoped the strong man would beat up the young man. He knocked on the glass, reminding Tang Zheng, "Be careful, he’s a Tula Alien. He’s got a hot temper, especially don’t mention the word ’peanuts,’ otherwise, he’ll lose his mind and rage."

The strong man was indeed enraged, drooling as he bit towards Qin Yan.

Tang Zheng extended his right leg, blocking the strong man’s path, but the guy opened his mouth wide, biting the leg, and yanked fiercely.

Tang Zheng braced himself against the carriage, bouncing up and landing a kick on the strong man’s knee. As the man fell, Qin Yan’s right leg rocketed up like a flamethrower, blasting his chin.

The strong man lay sprawled, causing the car to shake with the impact.

"Stop fighting," Tang Zheng held Qin Yan back. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the white man pulling out a controller; another move, and they would definitely be electrocuted.

The strong man was less smart; as he tried to rise and fight again, an electric current shot out from his handcuffs. This time it was brutal—the fur curled and burnt, emitting a charred scent.

The strong man’s skull cracked open and a palm-sized frail Alien Species crawled out, lying on its scalp, gasping for air. Seeing Tang Zheng’s stare, it immediately began to tremble with fear.

If it weren’t for the black-clothed man present, Tang Zheng would have liked to crush this creature underfoot—those protruding eyes were too provoking of hatred.

The Bulletproof Truck entered an Abandoned Factory and, after descending in an elevator, arrived at the Detention Center’s parking lot.

"Come down!" The white man opened the door, and the glaring incandescent light flooded in. A squad of fully armed soldiers with high-tech firearms already stood outside, waiting to escort them.

Tang Zheng noticed that there were a few trucks, from which some alien species had also disembarked. Among them, three wore prison garb, not only handcuffed but also shackled at the feet, their movements clanging loudly with every step. They appeared ferocious, their bloodshot eyes carrying a murderous impulse no matter whom they looked at.

"Let’s go," said the white man after greeting his colleagues, leading both Tang Zheng down a passage. They needed to find a doctor and report everything about the newly discovered alien species before the handover was considered complete.

After passing through the alloy door, Tang Zheng entered the detention center and immediately felt uncomfortable. What met his eyes was a stretch of white walls, with doctors and nurses in white lab coats hurrying about, as well as some armed personnel escorting aliens in patient garbs of various forms—without exception, all were restrained.

"We’re not going to be dissected, are we?" Tang Zheng complained, probing for information. He had intended to find the harbor, but instead, this place resembled a hospital, which brought to mind words like experimentation and confinement.

"We’re not mental patients!" Qin Yan also grumbled, but she inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. In front of her were over a dozen alien species. Just by killing them off, she could over-complete her mission.

"Looks like Tang Zheng’s plan is working." Qin Yan was already pondering how to go about her business without attracting attention.

"Don’t worry, we won’t do anything excessive to you, just a routine medical examination to ensure you’re not carrying any bacteria harmful to humans," the white man lied to Tang Zheng as they reached an office door and knocked.

"Come in!"

A woman with long golden hair spoke. Through the crack of the door, Tang Zheng glimpsed the female doctor—a typical Aryan with a high nose bridge and full red lips. She was wearing a white lab coat, unbuttoned, with a red leather skirt that ended two inches above the knees, black fishnet silk stockings, and a pair of transparent crystal sandals. Her upper body was adorned with a large-collared blouse.

The female doctor held a syringe, drawing some liquid, and beside her on the bed lay an alien species, limbs secured with iron rings and tranquilized, hence showing no struggle.

"What good stuff did you bring this time?" The female doctor had a strong interest in studying the alien species, but after glancing at Tang Zheng behind the white man, she frowned, "What are you doing bringing two humans here?"

Qin Yan’s heart skipped a beat; it would be hard to fool an expert. Yet, seeing Tang Zheng’s composed demeanor, for some reason, she too calmed down.

"They’re undocumented new alien species, they can use superpowers," the white man explained. "Sign here; my task is done, anyway."

The white man hated coming to the detention center; he thought the doctors here were all crazy. Of course, no one cared about the rights of the alien species, which were no different from lab rats.

The female doctor brushed past the white man and walked up to Tang Zheng, staring into his eyes.

"I want to leave this place," Tang Zheng feigned an expression of suppressed anger, complaining.

The female doctor didn’t care, seeming wary as she touched Tang Zheng’s chest, "Hmm, what’s with this clothing?"

Without getting an answer, the female doctor simply unzipped it and examined Tang Zheng’s pectorals, pressing them with her forefinger.

"Such a healthy body," praised the female doctor.

Qin Yan was displeased, wanting to barge forward.

"Don’t be rash. If you cooperate, I can make things more comfortable for you," the female doctor left Tang Zheng, picked up a form, and signed it. She then tossed it to the white man before ordering the soldiers, "Take them to ward number twenty-six. Treat them well and don’t let anyone touch them."

The doctor’s time was precious; she walked towards the bed where the unconscious alien lay, injected the reagent, and as Tang Zheng was leaving, he saw her pick up a surgical knife and slice open the alien’s forehead.

The ward’s furnishings were complete, including various toys, electrical devices, and, of course, a camera. Hence, even though the soldiers left, the two didn’t communicate.

Tang Zheng tried to call Lin Weiguo, but as expected, the signal was blocked, leaving only a buzzing noise.

Qin Yan wrote a few words with her toes on the floor, asking if they should make a move.

Tang Zheng shook his head; the best plan was for Lin Weiguo and his team to break into the detention center, kill a number of aliens, and then retreat. Having finally gained entry, he decided to gather more intelligence as he felt that Trojan’s next stage of tasks, even if not here, would somehow be linked to this place.

The food arrived quickly; the portion wasn’t large, but the variety was substantial. It was clear without guessing that the doctors were collecting information, so neither of them would eat.

"You, come out!" Half an hour later, a soldier opened the door and yelled at Tang Zheng, "Don’t do anything stupid, or you’ll regret it."

"Be careful and act accordingly!" Tang Zheng still didn’t trust Qin Yan; after warning her, he left the ward.

Once again in the female doctor’s office, she had completed her experiment and was recording data. The alien on the bed was now gone, but the large pool of blood and some broken flesh on the floor hinted at what had occurred.

"You don’t seem to be afraid?" The female doctor put down her pen, picked up her coffee cup, and approached Tang Zheng, "You guys, stay outside."

Tang Zheng didn’t answer, pretending to be curiously surveying the room while pondering how to free himself—he certainly didn’t wish to be dissected.
