Chapter 1288: Chapter 42 Gothic Loli and Death (2nd update)

"Don’t fuss over my grandma, it’s just her chronic illness acting up, and I happen to have brought medicine!" Little Red Riding Hood was truly devoted to her grandmother, always carrying emergency medication in her pocket, just in case.

"She’s too old, how can she endure a week of fleeing?" Zhao Dongtao frowned deeply as he looked at the elderly woman’s chicken-skin-like face, "Should we think of another way?"

"Let’s get through this crisis first," said Teng Yuangxiang, crossing her arms impatiently and tippy-toeing, as Lin Weiguo returned after having killed all the Werewolves that had been pursuing them.

"How is it?" asked Old Soldier with a quick glance.

Little Red Riding Hood took out a white bottle, poured out a blue capsule, and carefully and gently inserted it into the old woman’s mouth. Her movements were skillful, clearly something she did often.

"Who has water?" Little Red Riding Hood had just asked when Song Xin handed her a bottle of mineral water with the cap already twisted off.

Little Lolita was very cautious, staring into Song Xin’s eyes. She actually tried a sip first before feeding it to her grandmother.

"Okay, let’s leave first, leave a mark for Tang Zheng and the others to follow," said Lin Weiguo, clapping his hands to capture everyone’s attention, then spoke up.

"Brother Lin, that won’t do," Song Xin tried to argue but was stopped by Old Soldier.

"Stop arguing, killing Tang Zheng is too difficult, he can escape any time. But if we get in the way, we will surely waste time," Lin Weiguo didn’t allow others to argue, going to start the car, "Sun Jingshan, Ge Cang, give her a hand!"

Sun Jingshan didn’t know how to refuse, and Ge Cang was indifferent, the two men helped the grandmother up.

"Thank you," the old woman said, gratefully walking toward the car, but not ten steps away, she was as if strangled by an invisible hand, suffocating, her eyes instantly filled with blood strands, bulging as if they were a goldfish’s eyes, almost popping out.

"Grandma, what’s wrong?" Little Red Riding Hood was terrified, clinging to the old woman’s leg as tears suddenly broke through her cheeks.

The grandmother tried to speak, but could only make a hoarse sound, her mouth also began to spit out white foam mixed with fresh blood.

"Eh, what’s going on?" Sun Jingshan was at a loss, the other Newbies were also stunned.

"Quick, put her down, cast the Healing Magic," Ge Cang swiftly placed the grandmother on the grass, pinching her cheek, trying to check her tongue coat.

"Grandma, don’t scare me!" Little Red Riding Hood cried heartbrokenly, despite having taken the medicine, she was at her wits’ end and could only shout at the Conquerors, "Where’s the mobile phone, make a phone call to the hospital quickly."

Gu Xueqi’s Flame Phoenix and Song Xin’s healing white light both descended on the grandmother, but they were ineffective; she coughed up mouthfuls of blood, reaching out to Little Red Riding Hood, her eyes filled with nothing but love, yet she couldn’t utter even a single word of a last statement, and she died.

"Grandma!" Little Red Riding Hood pressed the old woman’s withered palm to her face, rubbing it against like a reluctant kitten.

"Could it be an allergic reaction to the medication? Little Red Riding Hood, let me see the medicine you just gave her," Gu Xueqi furrowed her brow. Although one of their protection targets had died, she didn’t panic.

"What’s the use even if you understand the problem now that she’s dead?" Teng Yuangxiang was utterly frustrated, "What kind of mess is this?"

"It’s not an allergy; it’s obvious she took this medicine often. If she was allergic, she would’ve died long ago." Jing Lan had some brains after all, though unfortunately, his words provoked Little Red Riding Hood.

"It’s not possible, it can’t be like that!" Little Red Riding Hood probably thought of some terrible possibility, her face suddenly lost all color, muttering nervously, and then fixated a harsh glare at Jing Lan, "You killed Grandma, yes, it was you, I’ll kill you all for revenge, I can’t let you escape and leak the news."

Little Red Riding Hood’s mutterings scared the Newbies, who all retreated en masse. The Conquerors didn’t care, while Teng Yuangxiang, already impatient, took a few steps forward, originally planning to grab Little Lolita, but these words made her pause abruptly and, unnoticeably to others, distance herself by a dozen steps.

"Hurt by grief, the dead cannot be brought back to life, you must restrain your sorrow!" Song Xin was too kind, unable to bear seeing a child in distress, she squatted down beside her, wanting to embrace Little Lolita to offer comfort.

"Don’t go!" Jing Lan pulled at his classmate’s hand but failed to hold her back.

"Wuu, Grandma died!" Little Red Riding Hood cried and mumbled, "It couldn’t be mom who did it, these people must be killed, or mom will be in danger too. Little Red Riding Hood has already lost Grandma, and can’t lose mom too!"

"What did mom do? Could there be something wrong with these medicines?" Song Xin didn’t understand the meaning behind Little Red Riding Hood’s words, and asked instinctively, resulting in Little Lolita suddenly raising her head to glare at her fiercely.

That gaze, seemed intent on silencing someone to death, caused Song Xin’s sweat glands to stand on end, and then the next moment, she felt a sharp pain in her chest.

Song Xin felt her consciousness drifting away, she looked down, and saw Little Red Riding Hood’s arm pierce through her thorax.

"Song Xin!" Jing Lan watched the scene unfold with disbelief and let out a hysterical cry as the Newbies retreated.

The Conquerors instinctively raised their muzzles, aimed at Little Lolita, but none fired a shot.

"Song Xin!" Zhao Dongtao roared in fury, raising his gun towards Little Red Riding Hood and pulling the trigger, only to have Ge Cang raise his muzzle in a flash.

"You can’t kill her, she’s the mission objective," Ge Cang said calmly, and, most importantly, he had no attachment to Song Xin, just a stranger. If she died, she died.

"What objective? She killed my classmate?" Zhao Dongtao bellowed in rage, his mind a complete mess. How was he supposed to explain this to his friend?

"What are you waiting for, save her!" Lin Weiguo shouted angrily, lunging at Little Red Riding Hood, attempting to subdue her. In that moment, the Old Soldier felt a profound sense of guilt. Merely five steps away, he watched Tang Zheng’s classmate die—a tremendous dishonor.

Gu Xueqi reacted swiftly, flicking her finger to shoot out a Flame Phoenix, hitting Song Xin’s wound. Sadly, it was too late. The injury was fatal, with no chance of healing.

Suddenly, a Black Mist erupted from Little Red Riding Hood, exploding, blowing towards the Conquerors who stepped back to avoid it, all except for Lin Weiguo and Zhao Dongtao who, heedless of the danger, threw themselves at her, still failing to capture her.

Little Lolita, holding onto Song Xin with one hand, leaped up as if sprouting wings, flying into the sky.

"I’ll kill you, kill you all!" Little Lolita muttered incessantly, then suddenly let go, hurling Song Xin’s Corpse towards the ground.

Jing Lan and Zhao Dongtao leaped out, trying to catch their classmate’s body, unwilling to let it be further desecrated.

Gu Xueqi sighed. In the Trojan Horse Game, it truly seemed that those who were soft-hearted and kind never met a good end. If Song Xin hadn’t tried to comfort Little Lolita, she certainly wouldn’t have died.

"What now? To kill or not to kill?" Ruan Feifei’s fingertips were crackling with Electric Arcs, ready to shoot Little Red Riding Hood out of the sky. In the end, they had become too reliant on Tang Zheng, their vigilance and decisiveness waned. Now facing an emergency, they didn’t know what to do.

"Our mission is to protect Little Red Riding Hood, if we kill her, wouldn’t that mean failure?" Zhao Yunwu aimed his gun at Little Red Riding Hood in the sky, trying to make his presence felt.

"The Trojan is tricky, the mission is definitely flawed," said Li Xinlan, frequently looking towards the Villa, hoping Tang Zheng would appear soon—that caution.

Teng Yuanxiang was utterly silent at this time, staying as far away from Little Red Riding Hood as possible, afraid of drawing her attention.

The Conquerors were undecided, but Little Red Riding Hood, hovering in the air, didn’t waste time. A concealed condition was triggered, and she began to transform.

Her cute pajamas suddenly burst apart, leaving only pretty cartoon underwear. Starting from her Neck, red light spots gathered, covering her body and spreading downwards.

In the blink of an eye, Little Lolita was wrapped in a pale purple checkered dress, a flouncy ruffle skirt appeared, scattering mottled starlight, and white over-the-knee socks adorned her pale calves, followed by red Round-toe leather shoes.

Little Lolita spun in mid-air, a long red ribbon appeared, and then wound around her foot soles, ankles, skirt edges, Wrists, neck, twirling back into large Butterfly knots.

A flash of white light, and red shoes adorned Little Red Riding Hood’s feet, a pair of splendid Feathered Wings unfurling from the sides of each shoe, flapping and keeping Little Lolita aloft.

The transformation wasn’t over, a palm-wide purple belt wrapped diagonally around Little Red Riding Hood’s stomach, from which hung two dolls—one a red-furred Big Grey Wolf howling skyward, the other a Red-bearded Hunter aiming a Gun.

When a dark red cape appeared on her back, Little Lolita waved her hand, catching a red hat out of thin air and placing it on her head, covering her tear-streaked Cheeks.

"What is this, a magical girl transformation?" If it weren’t for the dire situation, a certain University male student would have liked to capture this scene on camera—Little Red Riding Hood was just so adorable.

The Conquerors braced themselves, sensing something was terribly wrong.

"Today, you all shall die!" Little Red Riding Hood spread her delicate Arms, and a red light flashed across her hands, conjuring two massive Handguns, one black and one white with elongated barrels, engraved with ornate golden inscriptions.

"Duck!" As Lin Weiguo shouted, Little Red Riding Hood began wildly Shooting at the survivors.

Bang, bang, bang—the Handgun’s rate of fire was comparable to a Heavy Machine Gun, with excessively large bullets at least 20 millimeters in diameter, enshrouded in dark red light, slamming into the ground.

The bullets’ potency was enormous, causing branches in the Tree Forest to break and leaves to fall thick and fast, forming basketball-sized pits upon impact on the ground.

Newbies screamed, fleeing, but a few unlucky ones were hit by the bullets. There was no chance of rescue; hit by a bullet, their bodies ballooned as if filled with helium, swelling into a sphere and then bursting into fragments with a loud pop.

"Attack!" Lin Weiguo waited no longer, realizing that if they couldn’t see Little Red Riding Hood had mutated at this point, their time spent in the Trojan World was wasted.

Ruan Feifei raised her hand and threw a Lightning Ball, Little Red Riding Hood lightly tapped her toes, the wings on her shoes flapped, allowing her to dodge the lightning like a graceful White Pigeon, followed by a barrage in counterattack.

Ruan Feifei dodged, and a dozen bullets hit the Shield, threatening to collapse it at any moment.
