Chapter 1284: Chapter 38 Cunning Loli
---
Most newbies were searching for shelter, and a few were firing haphazardly. Inspired by Sun Jingshan’s example, they all wanted to perform well and win the "seed."
"Dantai, Ai Yixin, you two, enter the door!"
Tang Zheng, his body clad in the hard shell of beetles, paid no heed to the riffraff ambushing from the shadows. He charged to the front door, kicked it down with one foot, and signaled his team members to attack.
Ai Yixin, knowing that Tang Zheng wanted her to act as a meat shield, swiftly underwent diamond transformation and dashed into the foyer. Dantai, for safety, had just stepped through the entrance when he fired off a psychic storm, intending to stun any potential enemies.
"Move in squads, search every room," Tang Zheng quickly glanced at the layout, confirming that the bedrooms were upstairs, he fired his gun, breaking the ceiling, and jumped up.
Hearing the commotion outside, the female homeowner, dressed in her pajamas, ran out of the bedroom in a panic, intending to call the police—just in time to see Tang Zheng. She screamed, startled, and tried to retreat.
Tang Zheng sprang forward, swung a hand chop, and struck the woman on the neck, knocking her down and catching her around the waist.
"Don’t hurt my mom!" A little blonde girl, around seven years old, wearing a cartoon cap and plaid pajamas, opened the bedroom door. She held a Glock pistol aimed at Tang Zheng, "Let her go, or I’ll shoot!"
Thud, thud, thud, Pang Meiqin, leading a group of people, rushed upstairs, which only heightened the little girl’s anxiety.
"Are you Little Red Riding Hood?" Tang Zheng gave Bai Guo a look, signaling her to go invisible and capture the little girl, "Don’t worry, we mean no harm."
Natural Stupid completely missed the point and stood there foolishly. Teng Yuanxiang nudged her on the side and whispered a reminder in her ear.
"Let go of my mom!" Little Red Riding Hood was assertive and resolutely pulled the trigger. One bullet grazed past Tang Zheng, striking the wall, "Don’t play tricks. I saw you signaling that big-chested woman. Tell her to lie down on the ground."
"It seems you’ve misunderstood the relationship; the hostage is me," Tang Zheng grabbed the female homeowner by the collar and shielded himself with her, "If you don’t put the gun down, I’ll blow her head off."
The little girl was stubborn, convinced that they were the bad guys. Thus, Tang Zheng had no choice but to resort to this method, lest further complications arise. Meanwhile, the gunshots outside the apartment were not only continuing but getting more intense.
"Hmph, you’re after me, right?" Little Red Riding Hood pressed the muzzle to her own temples, "If you don’t let go of my mom, I’ll kill myself, and you’ll get nothing!"
"This little lolita is too smart!" Zhao Dongtao wanted to curse, "Look at her eyes; I don’t think she’s lying."
"Don’t you hear the gunshots outside? The bad guys are coming to catch you; we’re here to protect you," Teng Yuanxiang stretched out her hands, "Come here to sister!"
Bang, Little Red Riding Hood rewarded her with a bullet, nearly provoking a counterattack from the infuriated Teng Little Three.
"Tang Zheng, it’s werewolves, a lot of them. Hurry up!" Lin Weiguo shouted, calling his team to set up a defense, but they were too few and were breached by the werewolves.
The werewolves crashed through the wall, appearing directly on the second floor, wielding machine guns and spraying bullets all over the corridor, charging fearlessly.
Tang Zheng pulled out an AT-4 and fired, but the one in front was an elite werewolf. It took the rocket shells head-on and, exploding into a whirlwind, burst through the smoke – five werewolves behind it using leapfrog tactics to move in a triangle formation, dodging bullets, all the while firing off a barrage from Chicago Typewriters, suppressing the Warhammer team.
The second-floor corridor was in chaos; taking the chance, Little Red Riding Hood hid in the bedroom. In a burst of speed, she jumped on a desk strewn with homework, shielded her head with her hands, propelled herself forward with her legs, and with the inertia of the sprint, smashed through a glass window, landing on the garage roof. After rolling a few times and grabbing the rail, she stabilized herself and then jumped down to the ground.
"Their target is me. If they can’t catch me, they likely won’t do anything excessive to mom to threaten me. What I have to do now is call the police and then lead them towards the police station," Little Red Riding Hood, wise beyond her years, calmly analyzed the situation as she panted heavily and dashed into the garage.
"She’s jumped out the window!" Teng Little Three ran to the window to search for Little Red Riding Hood, only to see her tearing out of the garage on a modified mini beach car, slipping under the rising automatic door with a drift, and heading onto the street.
The four wheels of the beach car, larger than the little girl herself, spun fiercely under the strong motor, quickly covering almost a hundred meters.
Little Red Riding Hood, in her pajamas with the gentle night wind billowing, revealed two white calves and her Garfield-printed underwear. She looked back once, then removed the World War II-style flying cap from the handlebar and put it on her head. She then pulled down the goggles to shield her eyes.
"Is she a little loli or a special agent?" Zhao Dongtao, having smashed through the glass to appear on the top of the garage, was dumbfounded; his agility and adaptability probably didn’t match Little Red Riding Hood’s.
"What’s with the talk, hurry up and follow," Teng Yuanxiang called out, being unable to summon a vehicle, she had to go to the garage for a car.
"Stop fighting, protect Little Red Riding Hood," Tang Zheng confronted the werewolf, delivering a punch to its chest as if he were striking a steel plate.
The werewolf didn’t flinch; it evolved in a roar, muscles swelling, stature stretching to three meters. It swung its furry hand, aiming to smash Tang Zheng’s head like a rotten watermelon.
The other werewolves bypassed Tang Zheng, catching up to the team members and entangling with them.
---
"Damn it," Tang Zheng put his strength into his right arm, and like a steel whip, he smashed into the werewolf. This time it couldn’t be blocked, and like a home run baseball, it crashed through the wall and fell inside.
More werewolves leapt onto the second floor, but Tang Zheng didn’t care. He ran through the corridor, a few abandoning their opponents to block his path. Tang Zheng couldn’t be bothered to dodge; his left hand drew the Demon Flame and fired, piercing through the chest of the werewolf in front of him, while his right hand swung Snow Dai Maru. The gleaming blade was like a blooming flower, spattering blood on the walls and sending various limbs and flesh flying behind him, filling the floor.
"Don’t dawdle; follow me." Tang Zheng was even more decisive, firing his gun to break through the wall. As the rubble fell, he burst through, already pulling out his Hell Motorcycle in mid-air.
Bang, as soon as the motorcycle hit the ground, Tang Zheng slammed on the throttle. The fiery wheels spun wildly for a few seconds and then burst forth, like a swift meteor, shooting toward the direction where Little Red Riding Hood had gone.
The engine of the Hell Motorcycle thundered, leaving black marks on the asphalt road.
Loud wolf howls rang out, and aside from a few left to intercept survivors, most of them were in pursuit, riding various vehicles.
Bullets whizzed by, glowing in the night sky, scraping past Tang Zheng and hitting the roadbed, many stopped by the Defense Shield.
Bang, bang, several werewolves emerged from sedans, holding RPG-7s, firing furiously at Tang Zheng. In the blink of an eye, the street was filled with a dozen orange-red rocket shells.
Boom, one exploded nearby, splinters hit the shield, and the blast blew Tang Zheng’s hair.
Tang Zheng glanced at the rearview mirror, flexed his arm without slowing down, and with a beautiful drift, entered the crossroad.
Little Lolita was clever, avoiding straight paths to prevent being caught, and darted through alleys like a cunning little fish.
Relying on the wild speed of the Hell Motorcycle, Tang Zheng clung to Little Red Riding Hood’s tail, but even with good direction sense, he couldn’t bypass and block her directly without knowing the terrain.
Tang Zheng could only weave through the alleys, reducing his speed, nowhere near as agile as Little Red Riding Hood’s beach car.
"I must get a flying mount," Tang Zheng thought of the Dual-headed Dragon that had flown earlier. It looked not only stylish but also highly maneuverable.
Before he burst out of the alley, a werewolf suddenly appeared before him. Tang Zheng raised his hand and fired, the bullet directly penetrating the werewolf, which had just raised its shotgun, tearing its upper body into pieces.
As the blood and flesh had yet to fall, Tang Zheng rushed past, turning on his Shield; they spattered all over him, followed by a barrage of shotgun blasts.
There were a full dozen werewolves around, after all, they had some advantages as local snakes.
Tang Zheng yanked the motorcycle handle, and the Hell Motorcycle darted out diagonally, trying to jump over the heads of the werewolves.
A werewolf quickly grabbed an RPG-7, hoisted it on his shoulder, and looked up, firing at Tang Zheng in the sky.
Tang Zheng was faster, a flick of his hand fired his gun, and before the rocket could leave the tube, it exploded, scattering shrapnel that sliced through the werewolf’s head.
Bang, the Hell Motorcycle slammed into a werewolf; the wheel spun wildly, grinding the body into a mess, and the flames completely ignited the corpse, burning it into a torch.
"Little Red Riding Hood will probably head to the Police Station?" Although he knew the answer, without a map, Tang Zheng couldn’t get ahead and bet on it. However, he used his firearms to break through the walls blocking his path, proceeding in a straight line to increase his speed.
Little Red Riding Hood appeared in his view; she wore a flying cap and glanced back, accelerating again.
If it weren’t for fear of hurting her, Tang Zheng would have definitely summoned the female musketeer to blow out the tires of the beach car, but even without doing so, Little Lolita couldn’t escape anymore.
Seconds later, Little Red Riding Hood saw Tang Zheng appear beside her and suddenly shouted.
"I surrender, eh, what’s that?" Little Red Riding Hood feigned weakness, then looked at what was behind Tang Zheng with surprise. She then drew her gun and fired wildly, but the bullets were all blocked by his Shield.
Little Red Riding Hood stared at Tang Zheng in astonishment, puffing up her cheeks in dissatisfaction, "Why didn’t you fall for it?"
"All those are my leftovers!" Tang Zheng steered the motorcycle to force the beach car towards the roadside.
"You won’t kill me!" Little Red Riding Hood was cunning, completely ignoring the approaching Hell Motorcycle, preparing to speed up when a long arm reached over and grabbed her collar.
Little Lolita, like a mischievous wild cat, got lifted up, the beach car losing control and after traveling a distance, crashed into a fire hydrant by the road.
"I won’t kill you, capturing you alive will do." Tang Zheng wanted the distance, he used one hand to perform a 180-degree turn and began to head back. (To be continued.
