Chapter 1278: Chapter 32 Bunny Girl

Gunshots rang out from outside the private room—it was clear that the group members were exchanging fire with the vampires rushing to the scene. This time, the newbies didn’t scream; instead, they only covered their ears and squeezed into the room.

"I’m going to help!" The old soldier burst through the wall and appeared in the hallway, only to find vampires running for their lives, leaving a ground littered with flesh and blood.

Pang Meiqin was on a killing spree, swinging the Ripper in her right hand, cutting a flying vampire in half at the waist. The chainsaw blade whirled, sending pieces of broken flesh flying and embedding into the wall, creating an ’I’-shaped indent.

"Activate the shield!" Gu Xueqi yelled, firing the Howling Reaper in rapid succession. A large number of bullet casings were ejected, clinking as they hit the ground. She owned a heavy magnetostorm rifle but was restricted from using it in the magical scene—though spiritual power bullets were still deadly effective against vampires, sufficiently suppressing the passage to keep them from raising their heads.

Qin Yan’s attacks were fierce but she was still silent, becoming more like a passerby, her presence so weak it was pitiful.

Pang Meiqin didn’t want to waste her explosive arrows, opting to shoot with Scientific Monster No.1 instead. Green laser beams zapped wildly, creating holes and dissolving vampires upon impact, reducing them to pus in seconds.

"Kill them!" The vampires roared in anger, producing visible ripples in the air, which promptly caused the wall’s surface to crumble and peel away.

The defense shield was less resistant to sound wave attacks, causing even the Conquerors to grimace.

Tao Ran’s Sighing Barrier popped out, covering the corridor and blocking the attack. He soon released a time-space blackfish that bit off a vampire’s head.

Gu Xueqi flicked her fingers, shooting out a Young Phoenix, intending to kill them quickly.

The vampires weren’t defenseless either; they beat their wings, releasing clouds of black mist to obscure their enemies’ sight.

"Burn them with lava," Pang Meiqin called out. Her Angel of Death unfolded, providing complete protection against sound waves, while her thrusters glowed blue with full power, sweeping through the corridor like a hurricane and leaving a trail of dismembered limbs.

Dong Zixuan had already acted—the ground erupted with lavafalls, piercing through the vampires and leaving behind charred corpses.

"Where’s Little Red Riding Hood?" Tang Zheng exerted force on his arm, slicing the knife through the middle-aged man’s face. The blade was sharp, easily cutting the skin and drawing blood.

Tang Zheng did not threaten the middle-aged man to have his subordinates stop their attack because there was no need. In the presence of the Conquerors, they were no more than fodder, hardly worth the effort compared to killing them for points.

"Hmph, dare to kill me?" The middle-aged man hadn’t finished speaking when Tang Zheng tugged the hilt, slashing open his left cheek.

"Do you need me to give you a cross?" Tang Zheng stepped on the man’s face, nearly crushing his nose, "If you don’t want to talk, that’s fine. Anybody could easily give us the information we need."

Dantai was interrogating a battered bartender, who folded after having two fingers chopped off, spilling everything like beans from a bamboo tube.

"Let’s go!" Tang Zheng stepped savagely on the middle-aged man’s face, knocking him out, then, dragging him by his hair, he walked out of the private room.

The fighting in the corridor was over. This was only one of the vampire’s outposts, not their main base. Their defenses were weak. Of course, it was anticipated that after receiving the signal, most vampires would be on their way, so a quick resolution was necessary.

"Drag him along!" Tang Zheng threw the middle-aged man to Ge Cang and made his way through the hallway cleared by the newbies.

Gunshots and explosions echoed anew; the audience in the stands had long since fled in terror. A group of young security guards rushed in, drawing their handguns upon seeing them. However, before they could open fire, Teng Yuangxiang gunned them down, turning them into sieves.

Tang Zheng returned to the first floor, identified the staircase leading to the third floor, and walked over. Several Western women, seeing how handsome he was, wanted to approach him but then saw Ge Cang dragging the middle-aged man like a dead dog, and Dantai pulling along the bartender, leaving them frozen in place.

"FU-CK, move aside!" A group of drunken youths in black staggered down the stairs, with the leading young man seeing Tang Zheng and his company and not planning to make way, aggressively roaring at them.

"Stop yelling!" The youth behind hurriedly covered his friend’s mouth, pulling him to the side, and jabbed him hard in the ribs.

The loudmouth immediately shrunk back, not wanting to end up like a dead dog, while the youths behind him quickly aligned against the wall like inspected soldiers, making way in the hallway.

Tang Zheng couldn’t care less about these fools, not even sparing them a glance as he passed by; the bunny girl at the stairwell entrance startled by him, also quickly moved away.

Tang Zheng casually took a bottle of brandy from the hostess’ tray, carrying it with him, figuring he might as well be prepared for a fight that was likely to follow.

"Thanks!" Lin Weiguo also grabbed a bottle, twisted off the cap, and took a gulp, "Damn, it’s watered down."

Pang Meiqin was less patient; she approached the loudmouth, grabbed his hair, and violently smashed his head against the wall, leaving a bloody imprint as the youth slumped down, knocked out.

As the youths stirred to defend their friend, Pang Meiqin punched the wall, sending stone splattering and effectively intimidating them into submission.

"The person who insults our Group Leader must be punished!" Pang Meiqin’s eyes swept across with murderous intent, a group of unlucky youths accompanied with smiles, as still as cicadas in winter. As soon as the beautiful leg stewardess walked past, they quickly helped their companion and darted away.

Tang Zheng turned the door handle of the private room, locked it, and Teng Yuangxiang, with perfect timing, lifted her long leg and kicked it, smashing it into pieces. The previously loud singing and the reckless laughter, like a beheaded rooster, came to a halt, leaving only the clamor of rock music.

"Who are you?" A big bald man, his face slick with sweat, stood up, pointed a finger, tugged at his tie, and rolled his neck with a cracking sound, "Without reason, I will make you regret being born!"

Tang Zheng ignored him, scanning the private room. This was clearly a gang’s celebration party, everyone in black suits and leather shoes with shiny bald heads, each bearing tattoos.

Apart from six bunny girls, there were a dozen scantily clad women, engaged in a game of considerable boldness; three of them had even stripped off their clothes, leaving only underwear and high-heels, standing on the table swaying their buttocks to the music.

"Who is Little Red Riding Hood?" Teng Yuangxiang shouted.

"Looking for death!" Seeing this group of strangers not giving him a second glance, the bald man grew furious, stretching out a hand to push against Tang Zheng’s chest.

Bang, Tang Zheng swung his hand and smashed a wine bottle on his head, brandy pouring all over his face, and glass shards pierced into his scalp.

Crash, a dozen gang members all stood up, even pulling out handguns. If it weren’t for seeing Ge Cang carrying a middle-aged man, making it unclear where they came from, they would have opened fire long ago.

"Didn’t see any kids, huh?" Song Xin looked around, puzzled, searching for the figure of Little Red Riding Hood.

"Little Red Riding Hood isn’t an adult, right?" Jing Lan felt her worldview beginning to shatter, "It can’t be one of the hostess girls, can it?"

"Look, isn’t that her!" Mu Nianqi nodded towards the chin. When Teng Little Three mentioned Little Red Riding Hood, those in black suits didn’t react, but the women’s gazes drifted towards one bunny girl wearing a pink wig. This sort of Pavlovian response was enough to indicate the problem.

"Are you Little Red Riding Hood?" Tang Zheng’s deductive skill, of course, was also quick, his eyes fixed on the bunny girl, examining her closely.

The foreign beauty was dressed in a black swimsuit adorned with bunny ears, with purple garter stockings on her legs, stepping in black high-heels, exuding a tempting mannerism, resembling nothing like the innocent Little Red Riding Hood but entirely like a belle of the evening.

"Is this what they call the Dark Fairy Tale?" Dantai’s mouth corner hesitated but quickly discarded the messy thoughts, "Let’s take her and leave first."

Tang Zheng walked straight to Little Red Riding Hood. She was frightened and turned to run but was caught by the arm.

"People want to kill you, we’re here to protect you," Tang Zheng said without room for discussion, dragging her away.

"Did I say you could leave?" The boss recovered, feeling he lost face and wanted to throw out a few harsh words, but no one cared. Instead, a flying wine bottle struck him in the face, knocking him out cold.

Lin Weiguo clapped his hands, sneering at the group. The bald heads all fell silent, none dared to waste words because they were met with the muzzles of about a dozen guns.

"Do you have a grandmother?" Mu Nianqi was cautious but looking at this heavily made-up woman, she felt a bit nauseous, "Are you really called Little Red Riding Hood?"

"Yes, I have a grandmother!" The bunny girl was trembling with anxiety, "I just owe some usury. I’ll pay it off soon; surely it’s not enough to be hunted for?"

A chorus of sighs rose from the crowd, ruining the fairy-tale image.

"Are you a vampire?" Remembering the middle-aged man’s identity, Tang Zheng asked.

"No," Little Red Riding Hood lowered her head. Nobody noticed the panic flashing in her eyes.

As Tang Zheng led the way down the stairs, he saw hundreds of armed men breaking into the club, clearing the place. When they saw them, they roared and fired their guns.

A dense barrage of gunshots instantly swept through the eardrums. The newbie shrank his shoulders and retreated upstairs.

Gravity Suppression descended, bullets all stopped in front of Tang Zheng; they were numerous like summer flies, yet they couldn’t touch even his skin.

"Slaughter them!" Tang Zheng pulled out the Devil Flame Pistol and fired a volley. More than a dozen youths dropped like they were struck by a hammer, their bodies riddled with holes, tumbling to the ground.

Crash, the men transformed, a pair of bat wings tore through their shirts, flapping and carrying them into the sky, then diving back down.

Ruan Feifei waved her hand and threw out a blue Electric Net, engulfing them, causing them to shiver, smoke billowing from their bodies, and turned to charcoal, falling down with a plop like boiled dumplings.

Lu Fan was about to unleash the Sand Spear massacre, but the floor had already cracked open, spewing lava like a tsunami, rolling over the vampires. They panicked and retreated, but still, most of them didn’t escape and were burned to nothing.

"Make way!" Tang Zheng grabbed Little Red Riding Hood and stepped onto the sand path laid out by Lu Fan, running out of the club.
