Chapter 1233: Chapter 98: Ada Reappears

The scene became a bit chaotic for a moment as the spectators, worried about getting accidentally injured, scattered in all directions. The old man, enduring the pain, held onto his grandson, wanting to leave.

"I surrender, Boss save me!" The black man looked behind Tang Zheng with an elated expression, and then suddenly made a move to snatch the gun, tilting his head away from the muzzle, and thrusting his knee up towards Tang Zheng’s abdomen.

The black man’s expression of fear was an act; with three lives taken and ten years in prison under his belt, how could he be intimidated by such a minor scene? He distracted Tang Zheng with his words and then attacked ruthlessly.

Tang Zheng wasn’t affected at all; his knee shot up, clashing directly with the oncoming force.

Boom, the black man felt like he had hit a steel plate; his knee might have shattered, the excruciating pain shot up his spine, but he gritted his teeth and struck with his knee again.

Tang Zheng’s knee struck as well, and this time the two-meter-tall black man, hit by a siege hammer, wobbled and stumbled backward but was then yanked back by his clothes.

Tang Zheng, holding the Desert Eagle, smashed it hard into the man’s face, splitting his lip and causing blood to flow, spitting out several teeth, and at the same time, his knee landed unobstructed on the man’s abdomen.

The black man felt dizzy and with a thud, dropped to his knees. Tang Zheng stuck the gun muzzle into his mouth and shattered the remaining teeth to pieces.

The scene had unfolded too quickly, and the black man’s cronies couldn’t react in time. By the time the dust settled, they were shouting at Tang Zheng to stop.

"Let go of them, get lost over there." With one hand, Tang Zheng pulled back the bolt, picked up the MG3, and aimed it at the cronies.

The cronies became unsettled with their Boss captured and the dark muzzle of the gun pointed at them.

"Get lost, don’t make me say it a third time." Tang Zheng stepped on the black man’s toes, eliciting a scream, which distracted his cronies and pressured them, "Come on, what are you waiting for?"

Qian Wen and Li Ranhao came to their senses and quickly ran to Tang Zheng’s side. The cronies thought to intervene, but they too were under the gun and dared not take any rash actions.

Watching the standoff between the two sides, people nearby hid far away, but they all gained a deep understanding of the young man’s strength. Facing the muzzle of a gun, he remained unflustered and composed.

"You guys go first." Now that he had sworn enemies, Tang Zheng didn’t plan to leave any survivors, especially with two newbies around who might accidentally get hurt.

"Okay!" Qian Wen thought Tang Zheng was asking him to call for help, while Li Ranhao hesitated and ultimately lacked the courage to share the hardship.

"Let him go!" The cronies yelled, their fingers resting on the triggers.

"Still want to trade this time? Bring food, and I’ll give you the gun," Tang Zheng didn’t pay attention to the cronies, instead he conversed with the black man who nodded, naturally distracting his followers.

Tang Zheng moved; he released the Desert Eagle, grabbed the black man’s clothes, pulled him with brute force in front as a meat shield, held the gun with his left hand, and opened fire.

Ratatata, Tang Zheng swept out a semicircle, and his fierce firepower instantly tore the cronies apart. They didn’t have the courage to return fire; their first instinct was to dodge. A few shot back, but their bullets hit the black man instead.

Tang Zheng wasn’t reckless; he had a potion that would keep him alive as long as he wasn’t hit in his vital areas.

The gunshots stopped, and a stench of blood filled the air. The mangled corpses lay irregularly on the ground, forming an impressionistic painting, with various mutilated organs assaulting the spectators’ eyes, causing some to vomit, while those still armed held their guns, warily watching Tang Zheng, but no one dared to aim at him.

"You can take these bastards’ weapons," Tang Zheng had been ready to tidy up, but then he was startled by gunshots suddenly sounding off a hundred meters away, towards the direction of the campfire.

Tang Zheng picked up the Desert Eagle, finished off the black man’s head with a gunshot, and ran towards the camping ground. The spectators didn’t trouble him over a stranger but frantically grabbed for the weapons scattered on the ground, even quarreling over them.

No incident had occurred yet. Led by the policewoman, they were in a standoff with over twenty people across from an armored vehicle. When Tang Zheng appeared, the women couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.

"What’s going on?" Tang Zheng asked the policewoman but was interrupted by a man slinging an assault rifle.

"Is this your Group Leader? Good, move aside and let the armored vehicle go. This is the money for you guys." The man kicked the US dollars lying on the ground, casting a glance at a certain short-haired Caucasian nearby, obviously the unlucky one pushed to the front.

Suddenly, Tang Zheng lifted the Desert Eagle and with a bang, blew the man’s head off. The splattered blood covered those standing behind, who were startled and quickly pointed their guns at Tang Zheng. But they didn’t fire, waiting for their boss’s command.

Dong Zixuan and her group were not to be outdone, with six MG3 machine guns trained on them. Zhao Dongtao was asleep; his machine gun was temporarily being used by Qian Wen.

"Are you crazy?" The short-haired man saw his cronies looking at him, knowing he could no longer hide, and stepped forward.

"I just turned nine guys into mush over there. Hm, they wanted to steal my stuff," Tang Zheng spat out a loogie and, without hesitation, marched toward the short-haired Caucasian. "Get lost fast, or let’s have a shootout, don’t waste time."

The short-haired Caucasian drew his gun, aimed it at Tang Zheng, but he dared not fire, petrified, his face changing colors. He lasted less than twenty seconds before ultimately scurrying away.

"Boss, are we just going to let it slide?" After leaving the camping ground, a young man couldn’t help but mutter, feeling they had lost face.

"I didn’t want to either, but if we hadn’t left just now, our heads would have definitely exploded," the short-haired Caucasian sighed regretfully. "I once followed the boss to Colombia, saw those killers whose eyes don’t even blink. I’ll never forget them for as long as I live."

"You mean?"

"That youngster is even more terrifying than them; he’s the true embodiment of fearlessness," the short-haired man sighed. "Such a desperado is not to be provoked, let’s hurry away from the camping ground and be wary of a stealthy retaliation."

Tang Zheng’s move was immediately effective; that leader was clearly a coward on the inside despite his fierce exterior and dared not stake his life.

Kong Licheng looked at the girls surrounding him, feeling jealous.

"Brilliant!" Ada applauded, walking over after circling around a bonfire pile.

"Ada? Am I seeing things?" The traffic police, who had played Biohazard, was taken aback by the beauty of the woman in front of him, almost asking for a photograph.

"What do you want to do?" Tang Zheng frowned, muscles tensed, ready to explode into combat at a moment’s notice. "You all stay on the armored vehicle, we’re leaving this place."

"Give me five minutes, I want to talk to you," Ada insisted, still wearing that signature cheongsam with a high side slit and bare back. As she walked, her snowy thighs were revealed, and she was wearing high-heels, quite sexy. "You definitely need my help with something."

Tang Zheng initially wanted to refuse, but considering this woman may have the fastest way to France, he agreed.

"Let’s go over there. I don’t want to be disturbed," Ada pointed toward the armored vehicle. "You should assign more people to guard it. There are plenty who covet it."

"Zixuan, set up defenses. Wait for me to return. If there’s any trouble, shoot unconditionally," Tang Zheng said as he headed toward a large slope not far from the camping ground. "You recovered pretty quickly from your injury."

"Thank you for your concern," Ada knew the reminder was to warn her not to try anything, but she wasn’t planning on coexisting peacefully. Still irritated by the failure of her last mission, she retorted sarcastically, "Why not put the gun down? Are you afraid of me?"

"What’s your objective?" Tang Zheng wasn’t going to let his guard down just because of a woman’s words.

"Just want a heart-to-heart talk," Ada’s voice, full of magnetism, was almost capable of making ears pregnant. She reached out and slapped Tang Zheng’s butt.

With a sharp slap, Tang Zheng pressed the gun against the side of Ada’s head.

"Hehe, you really are scared, but I must say it feels nice," Ada shrugged her shoulders, teasing Tang Zheng.

"Speak quickly," Tang Zheng said, annoyed. Just as he lowered his gun, Ada suddenly launched an attack, reaching for his neck.

Ada was unmistakably a professionally trained special agent, her movements as swift as a storm, and after surviving a viral infection, her physical functions had significantly improved.

Tang Zheng leaned back, blocking with his left hand, and raised his gun with his right, shifting his weight to his left foot and lashing out like a steel whip with his right leg at Ada’s shoulder.

With a slap, Ada leaned forward, deflecting Tang Zheng’s wrist with her left hand and grabbing his left arm with her right, using the momentum to deliver a knee strike, thus robbing Tang Zheng’s leg of its forceful kick.

Once locked in close combat, Tang Zheng’s advantage of height and arm length would inevitably be nullified. He decisively released the Desert Eagle, grabbing Ada’s back, and hammered her forehead with his head like a siege hammer.

Bang, his abdomen took a quick hit, and Tang Zheng felt as if his intestines were breaking, but although Ada tilted her head and was grazed, she felt slightly dizzy.

With a ripping sound, Tang Zheng had intended to use a throwing technique to fling Ada away but the cheongsam, not being of the best quality, tore off instead, and the failed force of the throw almost made him stumble.

Ada, now only in her underwear, showed no shyness. She seemed to turn into a windmill, her legs whipping like steel at Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng extended his hand to block, retreating with numbed arms from Ada’s skillful consecutive kicks, unleashing an onslaught like an endless heavy rain.

"So tough, let’s see how long you can hold," Ada complained inwardly, feeling the pain in her legs. It had been a minute already, and not even the military combat experts lasted so long. Just as she was about to redouble her effort, Tang Zheng’s next words nearly left her winded.

"You’re exposed!" Aim for the psyche, seizing the moment Ada’s movements paused ever so slightly, Tang Zheng grabbed her ankle and pulled her toward him, his right fist thundering out.
