Chapter 1088: Chapter 54: The Twelve Waves of Demons

"What are you doing?" Tang Zheng got up, some dissatisfaction in his voice, "You trying to get pregnant?"

"Don’t worry, I’m not that stupid. I don’t want to end up like Ai Yixin, walking around with a big belly—that’s just asking for death." Pang Meiqin glanced at Tang Zheng’s lower body and suddenly reached out, giving it a squeeze, and laughed, "What? Still not satisfied?"

"Can’t be bothered with you." With no way to take a bath, Tang Zheng pulled out some toilet paper, wiped a few times, and started getting dressed.

"Men really are the type to deny everything once they’ve pulled up their pants." Pang Meiqin took off the police uniform, couldn’t be bothered to remove her silk stockings, and simply tore them up and threw them on the sofa. Then she took out her protective clothing and put it on.

The tight-fitting garment hugged Pang Meiqin’s body, immediately highlighting her seductive curves.

"Next time," said Pang Meiqin with a kiss to Tang Zheng, deliberately putting on a woeful expression, "It’s so uncomfortable down there, all because of your mess."

Tang Zheng’s face darkened as he remained silent and walked toward the door.

"What, you’re angry now? Heh, actually, I quite like it," Pang Meiqin said as she followed him a few steps and wrapped an arm around his, "Conquerors are so much more useful than cucumbers."

Pang Meiqin was always teasing Tang Zheng. She knew that the conservative types like Qin Yan and Li Xinlan would never let him have this kind of experience, so it was her chance to display her unique mannerism. She was willing to do anything for the Group Leader.

Seeing Tang Zheng again, Jing Xiang’s cheeks were red, and she didn’t dare to face him, while Xu Liangmao, an honest man, had not understood what had just happened; he just nodded and went to drive the car.

The four of them took two police cars and headed to the villa, since all the members had rushed back early in preparation for facing the Punishment Brigade tonight.

"Tang Zheng, I want to be a policeman too," Teng Yuangxiang said enviously after placing down a cup of coffee and sitting beside him, pleading softly.

"No need for that, there will be something for you to do soon. Sin points are not going to be an issue," Tang Zheng said as he flipped through a newspaper and handed a note to Dantai. It was a plan he had written down.

"Not bad," Dantai glanced at the note with clear steps and strong operability.

"All of you, go rest. I’ll notify you at eleven o’clock," Tang Zheng said as he didn’t want so many people crowding together; he lay down on the sofa and began resting with his eyes closed.

Seeing no chance to speak further, Teng Yuangxiang, with a gloomy face, went upstairs.

At twelve o’clock, the announcement from the Red Trojan Horse came punctually.

"To add fun to the game, this time the Punishment time will be a specific target killing mode. All survivors will be marked, and ten will be chosen to participate in the Punishment Game. However, you have two choices: first, the Trojan selects targets at random; second, you volunteer, which will reduce the number of the Punishment Brigade by half, but no spoils of war will drop."

"You have one minute to discuss. Please cherish it. Timing starts now."

"Do we even need to think about it? Of course, we choose at random," Pang Meiqin immediately stated her position. With the increase in her combat power, she no longer cared about the Punishment Brigade.

An Fei didn’t speak, while Lin Fachan clenched his girlfriend’s wrist tightly, his face slightly pale. He knew he was of little consequence; speaking out would be useless and might only upset others.

"If a newbie is chosen, they’re dead," Li Xinlan said with a frown, looking at Tao Tao, "Her, Teng Yuangxiang, Jing Xiang, aren’t safe either. It seems this time it’s definitely not going to be a horde attack like the Nazi Zombies."

"But volunteering means not only will there be no spoils of war, it’ll be a huge waste of ammunition reserves. And yeah, the danger is certain. Who would do something that’s all harm and no benefit?" Ruan Feifei thought the young widow was too naive. "Aside from Yin Zhijian, the two newbies have good qualities, but that’s not a reason to help them."

"Seconded," Yu Manli knew the ruthless Group Leader would certainly not volunteer. He didn’t state it, simply not wanting others to see his cold-blooded side.

"I’ll definitely choose the first one," Dantai made his position clear—it was necessary to have someone play the bad cop. And there was no need to care about the newbies’ feelings. "Don’t forget the American team, they’ll definitely choose the first option."

"Tang Zheng!" Teng Yuangxiang was worried and wanted help.

"I’ll choose the second one," Tang Zheng said just as the time ended.

"Now we’ll begin determining your choices. Please think of your decision quietly," a virtual screen popped up with the numbers one and two on it. The Red Trojan Horse read everyone’s brainwaves, and each person’s avatar was lined up behind them.

The Conquerors all uniformly chose the first option, of course, with Tang Zheng being an exception. Then the new members of the Warhammer team chose the second, and the Japanese, unsurprisingly, all picked the second option as well.

"Shoot, there are a lot of newbies on the American team," Yu Manli sighed. By this count, it was definitely going to be the second option.

"Not necessarily," Tang Zheng smirked. Others had not yet figured out why when they saw that all the newbies on the American team had chosen the first option.

"Rogers is such a boss, really got his newbies trained to listen," Dantai was not at all surprised. For Conquerors, every battle had to be about getting more than they gave.

"After determination, the Red Trojan Horse will randomly select ten survivors to participate in the game." The avatars on the screen started to flash, then one by one turned dim.

Every newbie was praying, terrified of being chosen. The Trojan loved messing around like this—watching their playthings struggle.

Tang Zheng and Dantai, of course, didn’t care; they were already checking their weapons.

In thirty seconds, the ten unlucky ones were chosen—two male newbies from Japan that Tang Zheng had never spoken to, five from the American team including two soldiers, a blonde boy, the black man, and Rogers himself, and three from the Warhammer team: Pang Meiqin, Lin Jing, and the mature Yu Manli.
