After the driver parked the car at the entrance of Sector E, Teng Bai waved to Zheng Yimu. Zheng Yimu got out of the car with Qian Yu in his arms, waved to Teng Bai, and walked up to him.

Seeing that the mission was completed, Qian Yu patted Zheng Yimu on the shoulder and said, "Elder Brother, I only need to guide you until here. Please let me down."

After hearing his words, Zheng Yimu put him down and said, "Thank you for your help, Xiao Yu."

Qian Yu nodded and ran back to Sector E. When he passed by Teng Bai, the little boy stopped and said, "Good morning, Elder Brother Teng Bai."

Teng Bai smiled at the little boy and said, "Good Morning, Xiao Yu."

After saying hello, Qian Yu ran back to Sector E. Looking at the smile on the little boy’s face, Zheng Yimu asked, "Is he one of the children saved by Miss Zhu and Captain Xiu before?"

Teng Bai nodded and said, "Yes."

Teng Bai then looked at the vehicles parked in front of him and said, "Let’s go. Captain Xiu has prepared a place for us to live."

Following Teng Bai, they drove a military vehicle into the base. Zheng Yimu sat in the car, looked at the green shell houses, and asked, "What are those things?"

Teng Bai glanced outside from the car window and said, "The people who live here call those as shell houses."

Hearing what he said, Zheng Yimu asked, "House? It looks very interesting. Will we also live in those shell houses?"

Teng Bai sighed and said, "It would be great if we could live in those shell houses too. Unfortunately, because the temperature was too low right now, we couldn’t go out and hunt the mutated giant caterpillars."

Sensing the disappointment in his tone, Zheng Yimu said, "You seem to be disappointed that you can’t live in the shell house."

Teng Bai nodded and said, "When Brother Song and I stayed at the Wu Lin base, they arranged a medium-sized shell house for us to stay in. It’s really comfortable to live in a shell house. It’s warm in winter and cool in summer. It’s a pity that we have to move to Sector A now since you are all here already."

As they spoke, they had already left Sector E and drove through Sector D and Sector C where farmland, water reservoirs, and energy storage systems were located. Zheng Yimu couldn’t hide his surprise when he saw how well the base was arranged.

He turned to look at Teng Bai and asked in surprise: "How did they do it? They can grow crops in the soil? Also, aren’t those water reservoirs and power storage systems? When did they start building these things? Where do they get supplies from?"

Teng Bai nodded and said, "Yes. Before you told me your decision to join the Wu Lin base, Brother Song and I had almost acquired the techniques and methods of growing crops on the soil from Miss Zhu. "As for the water reservoir and power storage systems, unauthorized personnel are prohibited from entering. Only authorized staff and supernatural beings possessing lightning and water element abilities can enter." He added while staring at the water reservoir and power storage systems in the distance.

After hearing what he said, Zheng Yimu thought for a while and asked, "Do they still need people to work in those places?"

Teng Bai glanced at him and said, "You can’t find a job in the farmlands. They only hire ordinary people as workers to work in the farmlands. For the water reservoirs, only supernatural beings possessing the water element can work there. As for the power storage system, it’s impossible to work there unless you have lightning abilities. So, your only option is to be a mercenary or a guard."

Hearing what he said, Zheng Yimu smacked his lips and said in disappointment: "It’s a pity that my ability is a metal element. It would be interesting to see how they build those things."

While Teng Bai and Zheng Yimu were talking, the car drove past Sector B. Looking at the long convoy of military vehicles, the supernatural beings living in Sector B became curious. Seeing Zheng Yimu and Mao Yan in the car, Liang Ming said, "It seems that the rumors about the merger of the military base with us are true."

Wei Bai, who was standing next to him, thought for a while and said, "I don’t know what Captain Xiu is thinking.
