Hearing what Zhu Lin said, Mother Zheng nodded and said gratefully: "Thank you, Miss Zhu. But I still need to find a job so I won’t become a burden for you and my son."

Mother Zheng glanced at her son and then left the villa. Coming out of his bedroom, Xiu Wu looked at Zhu Lin and said, "Xiao Lin, I’m going out for a while."

Zhu Lin turned to look at him and asked curiously: "Are you going out to look for supplies?"

Xiu Wu shook his head and said, "Tu Tu told me that the little zombie found a nest of mutated giant worms not far from here. I want to go and take a look with Lao Yang and Xiao Wei."

Zhu Lin glanced at her disciple for a second, then said, "I’m going with you."

Hearing what she said, Xiu Wu raised his eyebrows slightly and asked, "What about your little disciple?"

"He would be fine." Zhu Lin said as she walked towards the door.

Seeing that he was still looking at her, Zhu Lin tilted her head slightly and asked, "Aren’t you coming?"

Xiu Wu smiled and said, "Coming."

After not seeing him smiling for several days, Zhu Lin felt relieved when she saw his smile again and thought to herself: ’It seems that after the Devil God’s consciousness left his body, he really returned to the real Xiu Wu. This is also good.’

Although she thought so, Zhu Lin felt sad and lonely. She lost him when she finally decided to accept him. Xiu Wu looked at her expression and asked, "Xiao Lin, what’s wrong?"

After coming back to her senses, Zhu Lin shook her head and said calmly, "Nothing."

Before she could open the door, Xiu Wu suddenly held her hand and asked, "Xiao Lin, is this how you treat your boyfriend?"

Xiu Wu squinted his eyes and said, "That day, you kissed me first. But after you woke up from the coma, you were very cold to me. Do you still want to escape after eating my tofu?"

After getting out of the car, Zhu Lin looked at the hill pointed by Tan Wei. When she saw the holes, she said, "Judging from the size of the holes, the size of the mutated worm should not be too big."

Xiu Wu stood beside her and said, "We cannot judge the size of the mutated worm by the size of the hole in the ground. Tan Wei looked at the sack filled with salt and asked doubtfully: "Can this salt kill those mutated worms?"

Ji Yang shrugged and said, "I don’t know either. But if the mutated worms still have the same characteristics as before their mutation, then these salts can kill them."

After hearing what he said, Tan Wei had no choice but to follow their plan. Carrying a bag of salt, he said, "We should separate so we can cover more area."

Agreeing to his suggestion, the four of them started spreading salt on the holes. Ten minutes later, the ground suddenly shook. Xiu Wu knew something was wrong and shouted: "Something is not right! Come back!"

As soon as these words came out, Ji Yang, Tan Wei, and Zhu Lin ran back to the car. As soon as they ran out of the hillside, a huge bug rushed out of a hole not far from their car.
