Xia Wan’an thought that when Han Jingnian mentioned making her dream come true, it was just casual talk. To her surprise, at five o’clock the next afternoon, she received a call from Han Jingnian.

Han Jingnian didn’t say anything, just asked her to come downstairs. She thought Han Jingnian was taking her out for dinner, so she changed her clothes and left the house.

After getting into the car, Xia Wan’an didn’t ask further and chatted with Han Jingnian randomly. It wasn’t until night fell and the buildings outside the car window became lower and lower that she turned to Han Jingnian in surprise, "Where are we going?"

"You’ll see when we get there," Han Jingnian replied, controlling the steering wheel with one hand. He turned at the intersection ahead, exited the highway, and after about ten minutes, they stopped in front of a farmhouse restaurant by Lin Lake.

This farmhouse specialized in crayfish. If the customers wished, they could even catch their own crayfish to be cooked by the restaurant. Xia Wan’an found it pretty interesting and excitedly ran to the pond to start catching crayfish.

The freshly caught crayfish were a bit of a hassle to prepare. After Xia Wan’an and Han Jingnian finished two portions of the crayfish that had been prepared in advance by the restaurant, their own catch was belatedly served by the waitress.

Just then, the people sitting at the table diagonally across from Xia Wan’an and Han Jingnian finished their meal, paid, and left, and a new group sat down. This group was all boys, one of whom was wearing a high school uniform.

After sitting, one of the boys facing Xia Wan’an started glancing at her several times. Then he huddled with his mates, whispering, and soon after that table of boys began frequently glancing over at Xia Wan’an intentionally or unintentionally. One of them even sneakily took pictures of Xia Wan’an with his phone.

Han Jingnian, returning from the restroom, happened to witness this.

He glanced at Xia Wan’an, who was focused on eating her shrimp, then looked at the table of boys and immediately understood the situation.

He strode over to the boys’ table. Before he reached them, he overheard their conversation.

"That Miss is so pretty, my heart is racing!"

"She’s way prettier than our school’s beauty queen, what should I do? I want to pursue her!"

"Then go for it!"

"How about we play Rock Paper Scissors? Whoever loses has to ask for her phone number?"

As they spoke, the boys actually started to play Rock Paper Scissors.

However, before they could throw "Rock Paper Scissors," Han Jingnian, who had been standing beside them and witnessed their one-minute discussion, spoke up with a cool tone: "Save it, boys, she’s not a ’Miss’ to you, she’s an ’old auntie’."

The boys turned their heads to look at Han Jingnian upon hearing his voice.

Everyone stared at the man who had appeared out of nowhere – they looked at each other, then one of them, not convinced, retorted, "How do you know she’s an old auntie? She looks very young, even younger than the girls in our class!"
