I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 435 - Heaven-Derivation Astrolabe

“Brother Xu,” Mo Ye turned his gaze toward Xu Zimo.

At this point, Xu Zimo was their only hope, the only one not sealed.

But he didn’t know what realm Xu Zimo was actually at.

Xu Zimo simply smiled and said nothing.

The three black-robed men slowly descended from the sky, looking down on the members of the Yellow Division.

“Prisoners now, didn’t expect that, did you?”

Yellow Star snorted coldly and shouted, “Kill us or torture us, do as you like. The Empire will wipe out your Heretic God Cult one day, just like the war a hundred years ago led by Tranquil Prince.”

“Courting death,” the black-robed man in the center growled, his eyes flashing with anger.

Black mist shrouded his hand, spiritual energy surging and forming a giant hand.

The hand pressed down through layers of space, aiming to crush Yellow Star from the sky.

Now that Yellow Star couldn’t use any power, he was no different from an ordinary person.

Seeing this, he was already prepared to die.

Suddenly, a loud boom sounded.

The massive hand in the sky was sliced in half by a single strike.

Everyone turned to look at where the strike came from.

Xu Zimo calmly sheathed his sword, Shadow Tyrant, and smiled. “No need to be so violent. Let’s talk things out.”

“We were going to ignore you, the one that slipped through, but clearly you don’t understand your place,” the black-robed man on the left said, waving his hand.

Two chains descended from the sky, surrounded by black mist, and shot toward Xu Zimo.

“Who's the one that doesn’t understand?” Xu Zimo said with a smile, shaking his head.

He took out something from his storage ring.

It was a round object that looked like a star disk.

The disk was stunning, like the beauty of the starry sky.

The Milky Way spanned the vast universe, cascading down from the heavens.

Countless starlights reflected in the sky, filling it with brilliant colors.

A full moon hung in the center of the stars.

Xu Zimo looked at the disk in his hand. This was the Heaven-Derivation Astrolabe.

He had extorted it from the Celestial Sage while in the Holyflower Region of the Middle Continent.

The Heaven-Derivation Astrolabe was extremely powerful when it came to analyzing and breaking formations.

Especially after Xu Zimo fused it with the Hexa-Genesis Immortal Formation and many others, very few formations could withstand its power.

As the sealing chains approached, Xu Zimo smiled and activated the disk.

In that instant, a vast starry sky descended around him.

He stood in the midst of the stars, surrounded by the moon, stars, and flowing Milky Way.

From the starry sky, a brilliant star fell.

The falling star cut through the void and, at the last moment before fading, collided with the incoming chains.

Sparks flew everywhere. The star vanished, and the chains shattered.

Seeing this, the three black-robed men looked shocked.

One of them asked in a grim voice, “What is that?”

“The sealing chains broke. That item must be some kind of treasure,” said the one on the left, his eyes greedy. “Perfect for bringing back and studying.”

“Only if you make it out alive,” Xu Zimo said with a light laugh.

The star disk in his hand burst with light, shooting starlight into the sky and completely breaking through the black sky above.

Everything inside the star disk manifested, clashing with the black mist in the sky.

The eight black pillars around the city also started shaking violently, rumbling loudly.

“He’s trying to break our Eight-Star Heaven-Locking Formation,” said the black-robed man on the right, squinting.

“That item he has seems to naturally counter formations,” the one in the center nodded slightly.

“Take it!” With a roar, the three of them charged at Xu Zimo.

“There are three thousand paths in formation arts, trap first, kill second.”

Xu Zimo whispered to himself. He waved both hands, and countless stars turned into streams of light, flying from the starry sky.

The colorful stars gathered together to form an oval-shaped shield.

The shield descended from above, trapping the three black-robed men inside.

“What is this?” they roared, attacking the trap.

The entire shield began to shake and tremble.

Xu Zimo waved his hand again, and the flowing Milky Way solidified into a long spear.

The spear was incredibly sharp. Its tip shimmered with dazzling starlight, radiating immense power.

Xu Zimo gripped the spear and hurled it with force.

“Dodge it!” one shouted, watching the spear pierce through the void.

Surrounded by dark demonic energy, the space in front of them collapsed as the spear approached.

The three tried to dodge, but the trap was too small. They couldn’t break free.

Boom!

With three simultaneous screams, the long spear pierced through all three from the chest and pinned them to the sky like skewers.

At that moment, the Heaven-Derivation Astrolabe also shattered the Eight-Star Heaven-Locking Formation.

A flood of starlight broke through the black mist, destroying the eight black pillars around the city.

With a final explosive shockwave in the sky, the entire formation crumbled.

The moment it broke, the seals on Yellow Star, Yellow Moon, Yellow Sun, and Mo Ye were lifted.

“Brother Xu…” Mo Ye looked at Xu Zimo with a complicated expression.

Unfathomable, that was how Xu Zimo now felt to him.

“Thank you for saving our lives,” the three from the Yellow Division quickly came over to thank him.

“Just a small effort,” Xu Zimo waved it off and pointed to the three black-robed men still pinned in the sky. “What do you want to do with them?”

He had trapped them but hadn’t killed them yet.

“If you want to kill them, go ahead,” Yellow Sun said with a smile. “If not, we can take them back to the Empire. Maybe we can extract more information about the Heretic God Cult.”

“Then take them,” Xu Zimo said casually.

Those three had no real value to him.

……

Xu Zimo also needed to go to the Phoenix Perch Empire.

His maternal grandfather’s family, the Wenren Clan, was located in Phoenix Wing City, the Empire’s capital.

So traveling with the Yellow Division was convenient.

Mo Ye had to return to Tranquil Prince’s manor to report everything.

Mo Ye explained the situation in the city to Gao Zelong, then they departed Tranquil Heaven City early.

The fastest way to reach Phoenix Wing City was by teleportation array.

The teleportation array to Phoenix Wing City was located in Phoenix Cry City.

So they had to head to Phoenix Cry City first.

……

On a towering, rugged mountain peak, the beautiful landscape was covered in a layer of mist.

At the summit, two people were playing a game of chess.

The man on the left wore a green robe. His hair and beard were white with age, but despite being in his sixties, he still looked energetic and sharp.
