I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 410 - Master God-Diviner

"What are those people doing?" Yue Qingli asked curiously.

"Not sure but sounds like there’s a fortune teller who’s really accurate. They’re probably all waiting for a reading," Xu Zimo said with a smile. "Want to check it out?"

"Sure, maybe he can even tell me who my enemy is," Yue Qingli replied seriously.

Xu Zimo chuckled and led Yue Qingli over to the small stall.

There was a long line in front of the stall, but everyone queued up orderly. No one dared to cut in line.

Xu Zimo stood aside with interest.

The stall owner was a middle-aged man dressed in a simple coarse robe.

There were even a few patches on it.

Beside him stood a black banner, which had a few words written on it:

"Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Astrology, Eight Trigrams and Six Lines, Geomancy and Feng Shui."

At the very top, two large white characters stood out: God-Diviner!

Xu Zimo found it amusing. A woman was sitting in front of the middle-aged man.

The man sat still with his eyes closed, as calm as a mountain.

He asked, "What do you want to know?"

His voice was hoarse, as if forced out of his throat.

"Master, I want to know about love," the woman said seriously with a smile. "When will I meet the man of my dreams?"

The middle-aged man was silent for a moment, then formed a hand seal.

His left thumb pressed against his index finger, while his right hand was in a prayer gesture.

"Your birth date and time," he asked calmly.

The woman answered one by one. After a long moment, the man slowly opened his eyes.

Xu Zimo noticed the man’s eyes, bright and deep.

At first glance, they seemed blank, as if you couldn’t read anything from them.

But if you looked again, they held countless stories, infinite meanings, as if they could unravel your very soul.

They seemed to see straight through you, possessing an unimaginable power.

The man opened his eyes and simply said, "There is no perfect person in this world."

The woman froze for a moment and then understood.

Her so-called dream man was just an ideal fantasy she had imagined.

There’s no such thing as a person with only strengths and no flaws.

"Then when will I meet someone outstanding?" she rephrased, unwilling to give up.

She changed "dream man" to "outstanding man."

The man paused and said, "When you go back, study the Four Books and Five Classics, practice music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Do this for three years, and you will meet him."

Hearing this, Xu Zimo chuckled on the side.

This man was interesting.

He was basically telling her that if she wanted to meet someone outstanding, she had to become outstanding herself first.

Like attracts like, outstanding people are often surrounded by others just as excellent.

Many people want their soulmate to be a peerless hero.

But if you don’t improve yourself, why would a hero choose to be with you?

...

The woman blushed, seemingly out of embarrassment.

As she left, others in line came forward with their questions.

People asked all sorts of things, and the middle-aged man always responded in a way that was insightful, grounded in worldly wisdom.

Simple, clear, and often just one sentence could strike straight to the heart, revealing flaws and guiding self-improvement.

Yue Qingli looked at Xu Zimo and asked, "Teacher, do you think he really can tell fortunes?"

"These things depend on belief," Xu Zimo replied with a smile.

As the line grew shorter, it was finally Yue Qingli’s turn.

As soon as he sat down, the middle-aged man smiled with interest and said, "Three-Eyed Demon Race?"

Yue Qingli nodded.

The man closed his eyes and remained silent for a moment.

Finally, he opened his eyes, sighed, and said, "A calamity you cannot avoid."

"You already know?" Yue Qingli asked, shocked.

He hadn’t said anything yet!

"I can only glimpse a corner. The fog is too thick, I can't see clearly," the man replied calmly.

"I want to know who my enemy is," Yue Qingli said eagerly.

"Endless cycles of revenge… when will they end?" the man sighed.

"Then root them out completely, so nothing ever grows back again," Xu Zimo said with a smile from the side.

"You carry too much killing intent," the man frowned, glancing at Xu Zimo.

"Have you never killed?" Xu Zimo asked with a smirk.

"I only kill those who deserve to die," the man said, eyes half-closed.

"And who decides who deserves death and who doesn’t?" Xu Zimo replied. "Who has the right to judge what is good and what is evil, life and death?"

The man was silent for a while.

Finally, he looked up and asked, "Do you want a reading?"

"Sure, give me one too," Xu Zimo said as he sat down, smiling.

"What do you want to know?"

"My destiny."

"Birth date and time."

The man began forming the same hand seal as before.

This time, he kept his eyes closed for a long while.

At times his brow furrowed, other times it relaxed.

Finally, he opened his eyes slowly.

He looked deeply at Xu Zimo and said, "You were born into a power beyond what ordinary people can imagine. Because of that privileged birth, your life was meant for some achievements. But you were arrogant, invited trouble. Your later years will be filled with loss and regret, and you will die in bitterness."

Xu Zimo went quiet for a moment.

What the man had said was exactly what happened in his previous life.

Had he not been reborn and used the Primordial Chaos Bead to defy fate, this would have been his tragic path.

"Then how do I change my fate?" Xu Zimo asked.

"Fate is fixed," the man shook his head.

"Fixed by who? The Heavenly Dao? The River of Fate?" Xu Zimo asked again.

The man didn’t answer, only pointed upward.

"You people from Celestial Secrets Valley really know your stuff," Xu Zimo said, staring at the man.

"Once you leave the valley, you no longer speak of destiny," the man replied, shaking his head.

Xu Zimo smiled, then turned to pat Yue Qingli’s shoulder.

"Alright, time to go."

"But I still don’t know who my enemy is," Yue Qingli said hesitantly.

"He’s not going to tell you," Xu Zimo replied, shaking his head slightly.
