I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 403 - Four Great Guardians

Watching the seventh prince leave, everyone present looked panicked.

At that moment, several figures flew out from inside Vermilion Bird Academy.

These figures were all dressed in fiery red robes, though the shades of red varied.

At the front stood an elderly man. He had short black hair, and his robe was covered in black patterns. He looked energetic, with a kind and gentle face.

“It’s Dean Zhao!” a student shouted excitedly nearby. “We’re saved! Even the royal family of Slaughter Empire would have to give him face.”

...

As murmurs spread among the students, a total of six people emerged from the academy. Besides Dean Zhao and the previously summoned Elder Yu, there were four other middle-aged men with strong auras.

Each wore robes in a different color, purple, blue, red, and yellow. Aside from the colors, their outfits were mostly the same.

Some students didn’t recognize them, but others immediately shouted, “They’re the Four Great Guardians of Vermilion Bird Academy, Wind, Thunder, Fire, and Earth!”

“That’s him, Dean!” Elder Yu pointed at Xu Zimo as the six of them hovered in the sky.

The Four Guardians snorted coldly and prepared to act, but Dean Zhao Changfeng raised a hand to stop them.

He looked at Xu Zimo with a slight smile. “May I ask why you’ve come to our Vermilion Bird Academy?”

“I was just passing by,” Xu Zimo said calmly, “but your students mocked me for no reason. I’m here to get justice.”

“What kind of justice do you seek?” Zhao asked with a smile.

“What, are you going to compensate me for them?” Xu Zimo asked.

“If your request is reasonable, I don’t see why not,” Zhao replied kindly. “After all, they may soon be students of our academy.”

“I’m not a greedy person,” Xu Zimo said. “I just accepted a new disciple and want to give him a gift. Your academy’s Blazing-Vermillion God-Sparrow Physique looks good. What do you think?”

Zhao’s expression changed slightly. The Blazing-Vermillion God-Sparrow Physique was one of the hundred battle physiques, one of their academy’s core treasures.

No way he would give it away so easily.

“You must be joking,” Zhao said with a restored smile. “If you’re willing to talk things over, anything’s negotiable. But not like this, otherwise, you’ll gain nothing.”

“Dean, there’s nothing to talk about,” the Thunder Guardian growled. Purple lightning crackled around him. “Just capture him and force out his background. He really thinks we’re pushovers.”

“Our academy’s philosophy is to teach without discrimination,” Zhao replied. “If this gentleman is willing, we can offer him a free spot in the academy.”

“You want to teach me?” Xu Zimo smiled faintly.

Zhao looked at Elder Yu, who quickly shook his head.

“Dean, I’m no match for him.”

“Such a young age and already beyond the Empyrean Meridian realm… He must have an impressive origin,” Zhao said with narrowed eyes.

“You’re asking too much,” he continued. “The Blazing-Vermillion God-Sparrow Physique is impossible. You’d best ask for something else.”

“I didn’t expect you to agree,” Xu Zimo said flatly. “So, I’ll just take it by force.”

“Insolent!” the Thunder Guardian shouted.

Purple lightning exploded around him as he launched a punch at Xu Zimo. Thunder crashed through the sky, aimed directly at Xu Zimo.

“You’re not nearly enough,” Xu Zimo scoffed.

Lightning also burst from Shadow Tyrant in his hand.

Thunder roared in the heavens as a sea of lightning appeared. The lightning webbed across the sky like a massive blue net, enveloping everything.

Compared to the Guardian’s, Xu Zimo’s lightning was much stronger, vaster and more majestic.

Seeing Xu Zimo casually unleash such power, the Thunder Guardian’s face changed. He quickly retreated.

Boom!

The lightning fell, blasting a deep, bottomless crater into the ground. Black smoke rose from the pit.

The Thunder Guardian stared at Xu Zimo, shocked. That one casual blow rivaled his full strength.

“Let’s attack together,” the Wind Guardian said.

“Be careful. This guy’s not normal,” the Thunder Guardian warned, not objecting.

Zhao Changfeng narrowed his eyes but didn’t stop them. Partly, he wanted to teach Xu Zimo a lesson. Partly, he wanted to test his strength.

As the Four Guardians surrounded Xu Zimo from four directions, their auras, Wind, Fire, Thunder, Earth, merged together.

The sky split into four colors. Howling winds, raging flames, roaring thunder, and mountains of earth surged forth.

The elements collided, unleashing destructive force.

Xu Zimo’s body had been refined by the Power of Creation. He had both the Hell-Suppression Demon Physique and the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique. Plus, the Tree of Life constantly healed him.

Even those stronger than him struggled to hurt him, let alone these four at the Imperial Meridian realm.

As the elemental waves crashed toward him, Xu Zimo grinned.

He didn’t dodge; he took it head-on.

Boom!

The four forces collided, obliterating the space around them.

Energy shot out in every direction, forming arrow-like gusts. The void shattered. Lightning, fire, wind, and earth reduced everything to ruin.

Xu Zimo’s figure vanished in the blast.

As the storm faded, everyone looked to the center of the explosion.

The space slowly began to recover.

And there stood a single figure, completely unharmed.

Xu Zimo yawned, cracked his neck, and said blandly, “That’s all you’ve got?”
