I Really Am A Villain -
Ch. 250 - Heaven Blood
As the might of the Imperial Meridian Realm echoed through the sky, boundless spiritforce and crackling thunder surged around Xu Zimo’s blade, Shadow Tyrant.
Chi Yi stared at him in surprise.
“To think the Baili Sub-Tribe still had someone like you. Why have I never heard of you before?”
Xu Zimo responded with a cold snort. He raised Shadow Tyrant above his head, and with it came infernal thunder and divine flames.
“You think you’re the oriole stalking behind the mantis?” Xu Zimo mocked. “Then you clearly don’t realize, I’m the hunter beneath the tree.”
Chi Yi smiled calmly.
In the next moment, his Empyrean Meridian Realm aura surged around him.
With a wave of his arm, the spiritforce around them condensed into a massive hand in the sky, hurtling down at Xu Zimo.
Boom!
Xu Zimo slashed upward with Shadow Tyrant. The surrounding space shattered, the sky split open, and the giant hand disintegrated under the blow.
Chi Yi looked visibly stunned, he hadn’t expected his seemingly unstoppable attack to be dispelled so easily.
Shadow Tyrant descended once more. Chi Yi’s eyes narrowed and he quickly retreated.
BOOM.
A massive crater formed where he had just stood. The ground fractured with countless cracks.
“I must admit, I underestimated you,” Chi Yi said coolly.
Above his head, his True Fate emerged, spiritforce gathered in the air.
Behind Chi Yi appeared the phantom of a monstrous creature clad in armor. It stood over ten meters tall, with iron-blue skin, bull-like eyes, and white steam puffing from its mouth.
Mysterious runes covered its body, it looked more like a demonic beast than a man.
Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes at the creature. He could sense powerful, baleful energy radiating from it.
Chi Yi raised his arm, and the creature mimicked him. Its armored fist, fused with spiritforce, slammed down at Xu Zimo.
“What is this?” Xu Zimo muttered, frowning.
But he didn’t shrink back.
Shadow Tyrant darkened, and he unleashed the Nineteen Forms of Dao-Seeking, Tenth Form: Death Canopy.
Explosions echoed above as the blade and armored fist collided. Dark energy and malevolence enveloped the skies.
The two clashed for several rounds, evenly matched.
Chi Yi gritted his teeth. His True Fate roared and, after another fierce exchange, he retreated at top speed.
“Who the hell are you?” he demanded, his face twisted with unease.
An Imperial Meridian Realm cultivator was holding even against his Empyrean Meridian Realm might. Even worse, Xu Zimo hadn’t even summoned his own True Fate.
“That’s not important,” Xu Zimo said, lowering his blade and exhaling deeply. “Just know this: I came here to kill you.”
“You’re strong. I’ll admit that. You’re unbeatable among your peers,” Chi Yi said, releasing an unfamiliar energy.
His long hair flew wildly, and his eyes gleamed with deadly light.
“But that doesn’t give you the right to be arrogant.”
A crimson divine light soared into the sky, dyeing half the heavens red.
Chi Yi’s pressure shattered the air around him. Blazing spiritforce exploded in all directions.
He raised his head slowly.
“First Transformation: Heaven Break.”
He roared and punched forward, a storm of wind gathered around his fist.
BOOM!
Xu Zimo stumbled back three steps. His hands, still gripping Shadow Tyrant, trembled slightly.
He looked up in astonishment.
Chi Yi’s power had clearly doubled from before.
“You should have run while you had the chance,” Chi Yi sneered. “Now you’ve walked into hell with your eyes open.”
“So this is the War God’s Nine Transformations…” Xu Zimo muttered.
“No,” Chi Yi replied smugly. “That was only the First Transformation. But to die by my tribe’s divine art, consider yourself lucky.”
He raised his aura again.
“Second Transformation: Profound Soul.”
“Third Transformation: True Spirit.”
With each transformation, Chi Yi’s power surged exponentially.
Xu Zimo frowned.
“I can’t let this go on.”
Behind him, a cerulean-blue planet rose from the mist.
As it ascended, the Power of Creation surged through Xu Zimo’s body.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Six meridian gates burst open.
The world fell silent.
His True Fate, the God World, descended from above.
Time froze.
Space stood still.
Chi Yi was still gathering power. But when he saw the pale blue planet crashing down like judgment itself, his face turned pale.
“What kind of True Fate is this?!”
He tried to retreat, fast.
But…
BOOM!
That entire section of the forest disintegrated into dust.
Chi Yi escaped, but not unscathed, bloody cracks covered his body, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
His aura plummeted.
“Fourth Transformation: Supreme Spirit!”
Chi Yi roared toward the sky, reaching a critical threshold of power.
The ground trembled. Spiritforce surged like a raging river.
He launched another punch, one that ripped through the sky itself and brought a hurricane down upon Xu Zimo.
“DIE!”
Xu Zimo raised Shadow Tyrant.
His gaze was calm and resolute, without a trace of fear.
The monstrous fist closed in, less than a meter from his face. Its force blasted his hair backward and made his skin sting.
Xu Zimo slowly lifted his blade.
Everything around him dimmed, only a stroke of blood-red, like spilled ink, danced in the darkness.
“Nineteen Forms of Dao-Seeking, Eleventh Form: Heaven Blood.”
Frightening, razor-sharp energy surged along the blade. The red on Shadow Tyrant looked like a sea of blood, drowning all ugliness and sin.
Blood scattered like blooming petals in the void.
Chi Yi had an eerie feeling,
The blood wasn’t his. He was a meter away from the blade.
Yet when he looked down, his limbs had already been severed.
Both arms. Both legs. Gone.
Only a limbless torso remained, crumpling helplessly to the ground.
Above them, dark clouds gathered.
And finally, the sky couldn’t hold back its sorrow any longer.
With a thunderous crack, rain began to fall.
