Chapter 42: Chapter 42 - It’s Hot Around Here

"Is that really what he said?" A middle-aged man asked with a frown as five people entered his office, completely out of breath.

Those five individuals had been running for their lives ever since they had left the Multiverse’s General Store. With a simple glance, the owner had made it impossible for them to move their limbs. There was no way in hell that they would be going back there. If they did... death was a possibility.

"Y-Yes... he told us to tell you that message word for word."

"Did you at least manage to do some damage to the store?"

The men shook their heads. "No, he was too strong. We could not do anything."

Axel gritted his teeth as he turned around in his chair. "You’re all dismissed."

The five men quickly left the room and as soon as the door closed, Axel pressed a button on his desk and said, "Get rid of them discreetly; we don’t want rumors to spread."

Axel took a deep breath as he heard a confirmation from the other side.

"That son of a bitch..." He shook his head.

Never in a million years would he have thought that those men would have failed. After all, Lucius’s employees were all women, and they did not have weapons or anything to protect themselves.

This should have been an easy job.

But from what those men said... Lucius had been the problem.

"Something is definitely strange about that store... even those women are strange. One of them even had pointy ears like an elf. Strange disguise, if you ask me." Axel laughed to himself. "Threatening me? Just who does he think he is? Asking for my daughter. Talk about a mad lad."

"There is no way in hell that he will ever get close to my daughter! That will happen over my dead body!"

Still, while he would never let Lucius date his daughter, Axel got an idea...

He pressed the button on the corner of his desk.

"Can you tell my daughter to come meet me? I have to talk to her about something."

Axel smirked.

One thing was sure: he had not given up even with the message Lucius had sent.

However, that was the result that Lucius had already imagined. He simply wanted a reason to go after one of the most powerful people on Earth. Lucius would make each and every one of them his slaves. They would be listening to his every word once he was done with them.

-Knock!

-Knock!

-Knock!

"Father? You asked to see me?"

Axel opened the door and welcomed his daughter inside.

She was a beauty. She had long red hair and beautiful blue eyes that would make any man lose his rationality.

"Did you need me for something?"

Axel only smirked as he said, "Please sit down. I’ll explain my plan to you."

While that happened, Lucius was behind the counter with Lilith, and things were a little awkward between the two of them as Lucius wasn’t too sure how to get closer to Lilith.

He didn’t have a Love Potion at hand, and she also knew what the effects of it were. Lucius would not be able to proceed in the same way he had with Aphrodite. He would have to let his charm speak for itself.

However, while Lucius was panicking from within, Lilith was in a similar position.

’Since when did he become so hot! Last time he was charming, but this is just on a whole other level! Did Aphrodite do something to him?’ Lilith shook her head as she could hardly look away from him. ’Fuck... why isn’t he making a move on me~! Aren’t I pretty enough? Should I make it even more obvious?’

"Ahh... it’s so hot around here," Lilith muttered as she blew wind in her face with her hand, waving it.

Lilith was wearing a tight black dress with a very deep V-line, showing most of her cleavage. She had made sure to wear her best dress to make it so that Lucius would want to have some "fun" with her. However, it was surprising; he had a lot of self-control. Something that Lilith had not expected at all from a human.

She grabbed one of the straps from her dress and moved it to the side, making it drop just enough that it didn’t quite cover one of her breasts; a part of her perky, pink nipple even showed in the process.

Lucius was not blind; he immediately noticed it. However, even then, out of respect, he didn’t look.

’Ahhh! Is this guy gay?! Why isn’t he saying anything?’

"Mhm... if you want, I have some clothes of mine in my room. They shouldn’t be as hot."

Lilith bit her lower lip. ’His room... perfect!’

"Sure... let’s go."

There was only one problem.

Both Aphrodite and Alicia were in his room at the moment, inside his very bed, and he didn’t want them to see Lilith coming up with him.

"Actually, let’s go here; I think I have some clothes that were in the process of being cleaned."

He stopped at the washing room where he had washed Alicia’s dress the first time he had seen her.

Lucius entered the room first, and right as he did so, he heard the sound of a door getting locked behind him.

"Did you lock the door?" Lucius asked with a slight frown.

Lilith giggled. "Oops~! I didn’t do it on purpose... well, it’s not like it matters. Still, it’s so hot in here."

Lilith didn’t waste a second as she began removing her dress swiftly. However, she didn’t rush her movements. She made sure to slow down when the dress was close to her ass and breasts. She wanted to highlight her features, and she sure did, as Lucius could only watch with his mouth wide open.

’Is she trying to seduce me right now?’ Lucius thought as Lilith now only had her bra and panties on... nothing else. Strangely enough, she was approaching him dangerously with a smirk.
