Chapter 41: Chapter 41 - Lilith is Back

Based on the behavior coming from Lilith, Lucius was suspicious that she was potentially planning something.

After all, the first time they had met, she had acted quite coldly toward him, and she had not drunk a Love Potion, which meant that it was a situation like the one with Aphrodite; it was completely different.

"I noticed that Aphrodite came to visit. Did any other of my friends come?"

Lucius shook his head. "I don’t think so. However, Aphrodite was more than enough," Lucius said with a smirk as he remembered what happened last night.

That body was definitely from the heavens.

He had never tasted anything like it in the past.

And while Alicia was good, her body could not be compared to Aphrodite’s.

Looking at Lilith, the question couldn’t help but enter Lucius’s mind.

’I wonder just how good she would be in bed. She must be the best of the best... She is the Goddess of Sex.’

Lucius couldn’t help but imagine Lilith in his bed, having sex with him. He could imagine that her skills were unlike anything he had experienced in the past.

"I see. Well, I’ll ask them again. Apart from that, your items have been selling decently for me. Did you get anything new that I could buy?"

Lucius frowned as he shook his head. "Nope, nothing yet. Though, it shouldn’t be too long, I think."

It had been a while since he had unlocked a recipe for another item. However, he had a feeling that the system would give him a quest soon enough that would help develop the Multiverse General Store since it had been quite stale for some time.

Lucius looked at the vague quest that he had obtained, and he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do in detail.

Usually, the quests he received were a lot more detailed and result-oriented. However, this quest was different. But the rewards were definitely worth it.

Lucius would do his very best to complete this quest in whatever way possible.

’Does the system want me to have sex with her?’ Lucius thought with a frown as he had already planned on doing that, and it would definitely bring them closer to one another.

"Is something wrong?" Lilith asked as she noticed the change of expression on Lucius’s face.

There was definitely something up. She could just feel it from the slight change in his behavior.

"Ah, no... Sorry, I got a bit lost thinking about some things," Lucius answered, lying through his teeth.

Lilith didn’t press on, and right as she was about to open her mouth again, the door to the shop opened, and a new customer entered.

However, it was not one person... It was a lot more than that.

Every single one of them wore a mask, hiding their identities, and they were all armed with baseball bats.

’What the hell is happening here?’ Lucius thought with a frown as he watched those people enter the shop, looking around.

He did not make any moves just yet as he watched from afar.

"Welcome to the Multiverse General Store!" one of Lucius’s employees said with a slight bow, showing respect to the men.

However, as Lucius watched them, he realized what was happening.

It seemed that Axel had already made his first move.

It had only taken a few hours for him to gather a few people to vandalize his shop.

’It’s a pity that this attempt will terribly fail...’ Lucius thought in the back of his mind.

After all, he was even stronger than before now.

He had access to Aphrodite’s strength now. A baseball would never hurt him, even if one of those bulky men swung it in his direction.

In fact, Lucius bet that the baseball would break upon contact with his body.

"Do you want me to deal with them?" Lilith asked with a sigh, looking visibly annoyed by the presence of those guys.

However, Lucius shook his head as he stood up from his seat. "Don’t worry, I’ll deal with them accordingly."

Lucius walked in their direction with a bright smile on his face.

"Can I know why you five are visiting my store? Are you looking to buy something in particular?"

The man in front of the group grinned behind his mask. "No, we’re here to destroy your shop. You made yourself the enemy of a very powerful man, and you will come to regret it."

Right as he finished those words, he swung back his baseball bat, preparing to strike the row of Love Potions that had been carefully placed by his employees.

Then, as he tried to launch his attack, his baseball bat seemed stuck in place.

’Huh? What the hell is happening? Why can’t I move it?’ the man thought as he watched Lucius.

The man still hadn’t moved, and there was visibly nothing holding his bat.

"W-What are you doing to me?!" the man suddenly shouted.

Lucius smirked as he raised both his hands in the air. "Me? Nothing? Why are you asking that? Is there a problem?"

Lucius continued to walk in their direction with a smirk, and the vandals realized too late what was happening.

"I-I can no longer move!"

"M-Me too!"

"What the hell is this place?! Who’s this maniac?!"

"We were told that this would be an easy job! This guy is crazy!"

Lucius smirked as he heard them shout out of fear as he got right in the face of the first guy.

"I won’t hurt you five because this is your job. However, I want you to give a message to your boss. Can you do that for me?"

The man nodded slowly, scared for his life.

"Perfect. Go and tell your boss that if he ever sends someone else to this store, I will go and see him, and things won’t end like this. Someone will get... badly hurt."

The man shuddered.

"Got it?"

He nodded.

Lucius snapped his fingers, and the five men all ran out of the store as fast as possible.

Lucius frowned. ’The progression increased by that much? But I didn’t even get closer to her?’

Lucius turned around and noticed that Lilith was blushing heavily all of a sudden.
