Chapter 33: Chapter 33 - Arriving at the Multiverse General Store

There was this look of disgust on her face as she looked at Axel.

How dare a human try to touch her body that even gods desired?

Only Lucius was allowed to do that. He was the love of her life, so it only made sense. However, for some random bastard to try to do so... it made Aphrodite angry, very angry.

"Did you just try to touch me?" she asked as her eyes began emitting a strong pink color.

She was currently gathering mana in her eyes, something that could be very dangerous for normal humans. Still, she didn’t like how this one had behaved with Lucius. He needed to be taught a lesson.

"I’m sorry! I was only trying to help!" Axel said with a slight frown, disappointed by this behavior.

He had been almost sure that he was acting the right way at the right time. He didn’t believe that Lucius was beautiful and charismatic enough to have such a beautiful woman by his side, especially with the way he had been treating her. However... it seemed that he had been wrong; she was still very much attached to him.

It had reached the point where Aphrodite was considering using her powers on one of the richest men on Earth.

’Should I do it?’ she thought, gritting her teeth.

However, just as she was about to make her decision, she felt the hands of Lucius wrap around her waist and force her to sit on his lap like a good little girl.

The anger she had just felt completely vanished the moment such a thing happened.

She smiled because of how close she was now to her Master. She loved it. Sitting on his lap was the best!

"Calm down... don’t act rashly. I’ll deal with him later..." Lucius said in a whisper. "I’ll make sure that he respects us all."

After all, they were the ones in control. They were the special ones.

If they desired it, they could force Axel to do whatever they wanted. And if he continued to act this way, it would be an option that Lucius would consider in the future without a doubt.

A few minutes later, the limousine finally came to a stop.

The rest of the ride had been very... awkward, as no one dared to speak up anymore. Axel was gritting his teeth as he observed Aphrodite rub her thighs against Lucius’s lap in front of them without care.

She was doing it with a smile too. It was as if she was doing it just to mock him.

He didn’t like it.

It was the first time in his life that someone had refused him.

’I’ll make sure that you’re mine by the time I’m done with that loser,’ he thought in the back of his mind as the limousine doors opened.

"So... this is the place?" Axel muttered with a look of disgust as he stepped out of the car. "Fucking disgusting."

Axel looked down as a couple of rats were chasing each other.

"How did my children even find this place in the first place...?"

Axel shook his head as he didn’t even want to imagine.

Firstly, it was in the slums of the city. It was no place for them to be.

Secondly, it was in a disgusting alley. Why would anyone ever go there?

"Who knows? Anyway, let’s go. I need to fix things up really quick."

A few seconds later, they arrived at the end of the alley and pushed the door open.

Lucius entered with a frown as he remembered what was written in the [Store Status]. Alicia had been making things go very bad inside the store.

-Ding!

The bell sound rang a few times as everyone entered the store.

Alicia was right by the door in her usual spot while the other employees were scattered around the place. However, none of them spoke; there was a clear sign of anxiety written over all of their faces.

It seemed that in the short time Lucius had left, Alicia had created a very heavy atmosphere.

"We’re not open. Leave," Alicia mindlessly uttered as the door rang.

However, when she noticed that those who had entered didn’t listen to her, she turned her head in their direction, and her eyes widened.

"M-Master... w-why are you back so early?"

Axel shook his head as he looked at yet another beauty who called this loser Master.

’I’ll make sure to have you by the time I leave too,’ Axel thought with a smirk.

After all, both Alicia and Aphrodite were some of the prettiest women he had ever seen in his life. It would be a pity if he didn’t get them for himself. He was rich; no woman would say no to money.

Still, for the time being, he just observed from far away.

"I heard of what you did ever since I left." Lucius frowned as he walked up to Alicia, who did not dare to meet his eyes. "We even got a bad review on the store because of you."

"You tell every customer to leave, and if they don’t, you kick them out. You’re aggressive toward everyone because of your jealousy."

"I-I’m sorry... I was just annoyed that you left with Aphrodite. I-I wanted to be the one to come with you."

"Those are not good enough reasons. I’ll have to punish you. You know that, right?" Lucius said with a smirk as he could already imagine what kind of punishment he would give his beautiful elf.

He would make sure to enjoy every moment of it.

"I-I know..." Alicia looked down, not daring to meet his eyes.

However, as she did so, Axel, who was watching from far away, thought that this was the best time to intervene once again.

But he ignored one crucial factor.

Alicia was even crazier than Aphrodite when it came to Lucius.

"This is no way of treating your employees! How disgraceful! This young woman tried her best, and this is how you treat her?" Axel shook his head as he walked closer to Alicia, kneeling before her so that their gazes could meet. "I can help you. Just say the word."

Alicia frowned. "Who the fuck is this loser?"
