Chapter 100: Chapter 100 - Warning

It had been two days since they had come out of the Night Forest with the help of Walter, and things had been progressing smoothly.

Walter acted as their personal guard, intervening whenever they were in trouble.

Luna was in the backlines, accompanying them all.

Alexia was the one guiding them to Dracula’s Kingdom based on her old memories.

And Lucius was simply along for the ride, helping Walter when needed.

He dealt with all the threats, making the trip very peaceful; whenever he saw someone, he would disappear in the next second. Lucius found it strange that he wasn’t the one who had become the King of the Multiverse by now.

His strength was seriously on another level compared to everything he knew.

So much so that Lucius was starting to fear the moment he might go against them because he would be tired of them.

Nevertheless, on the way to Dracula’s Kingdom, Lucius used this time to learn a little more about him and his past.

He had learned a few interesting things that needed to be mentioned.

The first was that his master had also been a human at first. However, he had never mentioned that time lapse problem.

The second was that the Multiverse was only in the beginning stages when he took over, which made things much easier.

The third was that his wife, the Queen of the Multiverse, was a bastard who deserved nothing but death. However, he also said that only Lucius would be able to fight against her. The rest of them would only be able to watch from afar and pray for his victory.

It was easy to say that it was much easier back then to take control of the entire world.

"Are you arriving soon?" Lucius asked with a slight frown.

"Yes. Should be only a few more hours."

Lucius rolled his eyes as he couldn’t believe that no one had created a faster way to move around than walking inside this gigantic place. They were lucky that Dracula’s Kingdom was so close. Otherwise, they would have spent weeks walking around in this black desert where the sun didn’t exist.

It would have been fucking depressing the whole way.

But then, as they continued to walk forward, Lucius received a message from the Multiverse General Store.

[Warning! One of your employees has lost their mind. They have begun to ask to see you, or they will start destroying the store.]

[The employee said that you have one hour to appear before them, or they will destroy your store at once.]

Lucius’s eyes widened slightly. He had not expected something like this to happen at all, especially with the new security system. But it seemed they were determined to be quite annoying. They had been told he was leaving; he could only imagine what had happened since he had left them to come to the Vampire World.

Still... Lucius wasn’t sure if the threats were actually real or just a way to pressure him into coming.

[The threats are real.]

The system finally added.

This made Lucius release a big sigh as he rolled his eyes and stopped at once, surprising everyone.

"What’s happening?"

"Someone is planning an attack on my store."

They all looked at him, confused. They wondered why that would even matter in such a situation.

Understanding that, Lucius told them a little more about what would happen if they successfully destroyed it.

"If my store is destroyed, then I will lose my powers."

Right away, the look on their faces changed.

"Then we must protect your store, master," Walter said immediately with a frown on his face.

"He’s right. We need to do something."

They all began to speak up in unison. But Lucius wasn’t really in the mood right now. He didn’t want all of them to come back with him, as it would just create more chaos than anything else. Lucius knew how Aphrodite, Alicia, and Lilith were. They were crazy jealous of anyone else.

If Lucius came back with two vampires and a strange-looking man, they would lose their minds instantly and could very well destroy the store out of annoyance, which was the last thing Lucius wanted.

But there was a problem with leaving alone.

He would have to wait one week to come back to the Vampire World since the skill has a cooldown once you leave a world.

’Isn’t there another way to solve this whole thing? System, can’t you fucking help instead of sending me those messages of yours?’ Lucius thought to himself.

However, his pleas fell on deaf ears, as he did not get any replies. It seemed that the mission to take over this world would have to hit the brakes for a few days so that Lucius could calm the situation back in his store.

’It’d be a lot simpler if I could just explain the situation from here without going back. But that does not seem possible for the moment.’

Lucius was a little annoyed that he would have to spend a week there to go back. But it seemed he had no other choice.

He quickly explained the situation to everyone, and while Walter really, really wanted to come with Lucius, he was stopped in his tracks quite easily when Lucius simply told him no.

Just like a dog, he nodded and listened without the slightest complaint.

"See you all in one week. If I come back inside this world... how will I find you three again?" Lucius asked, as the chances of him coming back here were definitely quite low.

"We will continue to head toward Dracula’s Kingdom. Handle what you have to do and simply find your way there."

Alexia grabbed a piece of paper and began drawing a simple map.

"This should be good enough to find your way, and if it isn’t, simply charm a few vampires along the way. They will guide you without much problem."

Lucius nodded and teleported back to the Multiverse General Store, as he was somewhat excited to see what had happened since he had left for the Vampire World a while ago.

His vision blurred as he lost sight of the darkness and was suddenly blinded by a bright light.

And before he could make sense of anything happening, he felt his whole body succumb under a very thick and squishy texture. He fell on his back as a large weight fell onto him.

"You’re back! Finally!"

It was Lilith’s voice. She was over the moon, filled with joy, as Lucius could feel her large breasts squeezing against his body, which was definitely a nice feeling after all.

Then, more and more weight fell onto him. It was either Alicia or Aphrodite. But the chances of it being Alicia were much higher since it wasn’t Aphrodite who would usually do such things.

"Okay... enough now. Let me stand up."

Lucius managed to formulate a few words, and the girls listened to him as he finally explained everything that had happened. Emy had told them about it, but it seemed they wanted more explanations.

The tension in the atmosphere definitely wasn’t heavy now that he had returned, but looking at the faces of the employees, it was clear that some of them might have suffered some abuse.

Once he was done explaining, Lilith was the one with the most questions.

"So... you went to a Vampire World, became a Vampire? And now you want to take over their world and kill Dracula?" She summarized the situation very quickly, as Lucius had skipped a few moments he spent with Luna and Alexia. Lucius had also hidden the part about Walter.

"Yeah, that’s basically it."

Lilith smirked with joy on her face. "Why didn’t you tell me! I would have helped you get rid of this bastard of a fiancée. I wanted to find a way to get out of this engagement; this is as good as any!"

She seemed over the moon right now, rightfully so.

However, before anyone could say anything else, Aphrodite took a few steps forward with a slight frown.

"D-Did your body change? You look... more muscular, stronger. When I look at you, it’s as if you’re three times as powerful as me, maybe even more. What kind of Vampire did you even transform into?"

Lucius had some fun with her this time around. "Guess."

Aphrodite frowned. "Did you become a Vampire Knight?"

"A Knight? Me? Come on, be serious now."

"I-I don’t know... tell us."

Lucius was very happy to tell all of them this as he puffed out his chest and declared,

"I became a Vampire King!"

Lilith was the only one whose eyes widened, as she was the only one in the room who knew what that truly meant since she had dated Dracula in the past.

"Wait... really? Then you might actually be able to defeat Dracula!"

"Actually, I might have an idea as to how you can go back to his world before your skill’s cooldown ends. You should come with me to the Underworld! I have a portal that leads directly to his world!"
