Chapter 129: [Bonus Chapter]Falling for The Trap

Military Academy No. 1 had over a dozen S-tier alphas, yet only Thanos proved strong enough to be a worthy opponent to Tuss. His strength was impressive indeed.

Among the multitude of S-tier alphas, Thanos was the one who truly shone.

Yuri observed Thanos in combat and realized his stability. His strategies were firmly planted, his tactics were sharp, and his reflexes keen. His opponent was relentlessly pressurized, unable to claim any advantage.

"I think we’re going to win this one," Yuri speculated.

"I think so too," Ender concurred.

"Even though Thanos is quite annoying, I wouldn’t mind cheering for him if he wins," Daleks commented, with a sour tone.

On the stage, Thanos started his counterattack.

The dispirited students of Military Academy No. 1 suddenly seemed to gain a burst of energy, eagerly rubbing their hands together, their cheering voices ripping through the air.

Thanos won the match, as everyone had expected.

Immediately upon his victory, his girlfriend, the former campus queen Vivian, rushed onto the stage, and the two shared a heated kiss.

In that moment, the atmosphere reached a peak.

"Yuri, when Tuz wins, you should rush up there too. I’ll play the drums for you guys," Daleks suggested, in a somewhat annoyed tone.

Yuri pulled a face, "Well... that won’t be necessary."

The competition was far from over. Both sides experienced wins and losses. Generally speaking, students from the Empire had a slight advantage.

Only when it was time for the afternoon classes, did the crowd disperse reluctantly.

"We’ll continue tomorrow," the Empire’s students announced.

"Let’s continue," the students of Military Academy No. 1 responded, undaunted.

After school, Tuss appeared outside Yuri’s classroom, and they went to the cafeteria together.

"What were you doing this afternoon?" Yuri asked nonchalantly.

"I went out for a bit, had some business to discuss," Tuss didn’t elaborate.

Yuri glanced at him and asked, "Can’t tell?"

Tuss smiled helplessly, "It’s a surprise."

Yuri smirked slightly, "Then I won’t ask."

The next day at lunch, students from the Alliance and the Empire showed up as agreed.

"Tuz left right after school again today. He’s acting all mysterious, I wonder what he’s up to," Daleks grumbled.

"If Tuss isn’t here, I’m here," a voice came from behind.

"Tyrone, how did you get here?" Daleks exclaimed in surprise.

"Well, I heard you guys were having a face-off with the Empire, so I thought I’d join in the fun," Tyrone’s gaze swept the crowd, finally landing on Theodore.

Following his gaze, Ender pointed out, "He won’t do, he’s an SSS-tier, try his younger brother Herbert, he’s quite good too."

"Really?" Tyrone seemed unwilling to give up.

"Really," Ender confirmed seriously, "Tuz said that Theodore’s pheromone levels are just as strong as his."

"Well, I’ll go for his brother then," Tyrone decided, and immediately headed for the stage, flipping onto it with a stylish move.

As he appeared, the students of Military Academy No. 1 cheered loudly, apparently, everyone recognized this top student from Military Academy No. 2.

"Prince Herbert, I’m Tyrone from Military Academy No. 2. Would you accept my challenge?" Tyrone addressed Herbert from the stage.

Some students from the Empire whispered something to Herbert, probably introducing Tyrone.

"Okay," Herbert responded promptly.

Tyrone and Herbert were evenly matched, making this match more exciting than any before. The students from both the Empire and the Alliance watched with palpable excitement and tension.

The cheering and shouting kept escalating, awakening the teachers who were resting during lunchtime.

"I remember Officer Lyao said they shouldn’t congregate like this."

"Oh, that order was rescinded."

"Why?"

"Who knows?"

Tyrone and Herbert battled until they were exhausted, neither managing to overcome the other. In the end, it was a draw.

"Well fought," Tyrone exclaimed, leaping off the stage. "I have classes in the afternoon, I need to go now. I’ll be back tomorrow."

Tyrone hurried off.

Yuri watched his departing figure for a moment before looking away. However, she was unaware that not far away, Tyrone turned a corner and collided with someone.

"Ouch!"

The girl was pushed back several steps and fell to the ground.

"I’m sorry, are you okay?" Tyrone apologized quickly.

Sitting on the ground, the girl held up her hands, which had broken the fall, and her bright blue eyes filled with tears. "It hurts, I’m bleeding."

Tyrone saw her pale hands smeared with blood and felt guilt-ridden. He quickly took out a medicated spray, squatted down in front of her and said, "Let me help you. I’m sorry, I was in a hurry and wasn’t watching where I was going."

The girl let him apply the spray and asked, "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"I have a class. I’m from Military Academy No. 2," Tyrone replied, not noticing her expression at the moment.

"Oh, then you must be in a hurry. You should go, it’s just a minor injury, I’ll be fine," the girl assured him bravely.

Tyrone looked at her, a flash of admiration in his eyes. "I’ll be back tomorrow. If you need any compensation, you can find me at the competition stage."

"Alright," the girl nodded.

Tyrone handed her the spray and said, "I have to go now. See you tomorrow."

He was looking forward to seeing her again.

The girl simply nodded and said, "Okay."

Tyrone got up and left briskly. As he exited the gates of Military Academy No. 1, the girl’s face still lingered in his mind. Why does she seem familiar? Have I met her before?

But such a beautiful girl should have left a lasting impression.

Tyrone shook his head, deciding he would ask her when he saw her tomorrow.

In the evening, Yuri was reading in the library when Ender and Daleks rushed in. They each grabbed one of her hands and pulled her out of the library without a word.

Seeing their anxious expressions, Yuri didn’t resist and let them pull her out of the library.

"What happened?" Yuri asked in a low voice once they were out of the library.

"Tyrone’s Sea of Consciousness is in turmoil. Right now, two SS-tier betas are trying their best to suppress his collapse," Ender explained rapidly.

"He came into contact with Jira on campus today," Daleks added.

Yuri’s expression changed. "Where is he now?"

"The infirmary. If his Sea of Consciousness collapses, he’ll be locked in a seclusion room," Ender looked at Yuri, took a deep breath, and said, "Tuz is on his way. He’ll take you out of the campus through a special route."

Meanwhile, in the dormitory of the Empire’s exchange students.

He’s an SS-tier alpha, breaking through his mental shield took a lot of effort. Jira slouched on the couch, sounding drained.

"Our people are closely following that Tyrone, as soon as that SSS-tier beta appears, our people will definitely spot her," Herbert declared confidently.

"Well, let’s just wait then," Theodore was unruffled. He was browsing through the Military Academy No. 1’s campus network, his gaze lingering on a face of pure beauty, he frowned and asked, "An android? Tuss’s wife?"
