If you don’t like it, just eat this small piece; you can’t be picky, okay?"

Mu Ying held a branch-like piece of coral in her hand, wondering how this was any different from chewing bark.

Lily seemed eager to see her eat it, so Mu Ying reluctantly took a small bite.

"It’s not eating fire," Mu Ying thought for a moment, then asked her, "Can mermaids live in freshwater?"

"Of course," Lily replied.

Mu Ying nodded and said, "Let’s cut a few more pieces of coral, and I’ll prepare it for you using our methods," seeing Lily’s face scrunch up at the idea of eating coral, she added, "and clam meat too."

Lily immediately brightened up, not only cutting a few pieces of coral but also catching a few more pearl clams.

The two returned to Lily’s cave, and Mu Ying said, "Later on we’ll go to the room I brought with me. It can keep out seawater but has a hot spring pool. I’ve lowered the temperature of the water so that you can stay there for a bit."

Mu Ying had decided to reveal her Space Travel Box only after having seen Lily’s shell room.
