Beast Essences will obey all of the summoner’s verbal commands and will stay near the summoner when there are no commands, instinctively protecting the summoner from hostile creatures.

The spell lasted for one hour. The Beast Essences would disappear upon death or when the duration ended.

In Mu Ying’s view, it was a spell to summon animal-shaped energies without worrying about the creatures’ death because they lacked intelligence and life, operating solely on mechanical execution of the summoner’s commands and incapable of communication.

This Beast Essence didn’t possess Talent Skills like Magic Beasts; they fought with only their bodies and Innate Weapons like ordinary animals.

Like the reference for Wild Transformation, it could only mimic ordinary beasts; for instance, she could take on a Wolf Form but not transform into a Sky Wolf.

However, the animal form she transformed into wasn’t static; as her level increased, the animal form would grow stronger, mostly reflected in its Attributes.

For instance, her current Wolf Form had Strength, Body, and Dexterity Attributes that were a little stronger than an ordinary wolf.

Wild Essence worked similarly, only mimicking the shape of a beast with its actual power determined by her summoning intent.

If she wished, she could summon a 2- Strength-level Wolf Form Essence, or she could summon a rabbit Essence with the same Challenge Level.

The shape only affected the Essence’s mode of attack and movement and wasn’t a measure of the actual beast’s combat ability.

Mu Ying thought of the Beast Essence as a recyclable tool for defending against enemies, capable of holding them off, providing opportunities for either attack or escape, and assisting her when facing multiple enemies.

This spell might play a big role in exploring instances in the future.

Of course, no matter how much she coveted the effects of Summoning Animals, she had to take it step by step for now.

She chose to use the very familiar Wolf Form as the template for Summoning Animals, and, as expected, the first summoning failed.

Only after depleting her Mana did she manage to summon a vague creature with four legs and a tail that no one but her would dare to call a wolf.
