I Got A Title: Lord Of The Time! -
Chapter 87: Blue door
Chapter 87: Blue door
In front of the group’s eyes, a view of raging ocean storms opened up!
Dark blue water splashed in every direction, creating massive waves that could reach dozens of meters in height!
Whoosh!
Strong winds swept across the gray sky, capable of blowing away everything in their path!
Kaboom!
Suddenly, a loud thunderclap rang out, making Yulan flinch. Everyone turned in that direction and saw violet lightning streaking through the dark clouds that covered half the sky!
Everyone was shocked!
"This... Do these doors really lead to different world projections? Or is this just a small section of a world being manifested here?" Royal asked.
Aran laughed while observing the surrounding scenery. He looked at the sea and the lightning in the sky with great interest and murmured slightly:
"This is really fascinating... Even though I knew Mages were incredibly powerful beings. But to manifest their magic on such a scale..."
"I think it’s better if we close this door," Silia suggested.
Yulan nodded several times in agreement:
"Yes, yes. It’s better to close this door and look for another one..."
After Silia’s suggestion, Yulan immediately agreed, and Egro joined the two girls. Lin, standing to the side, didn’t really care about this door, so he also agreed to close it and look for an alternative.
Royal and Aran had no choice but to go along with them.
Even though they weren’t afraid of these people, the situation showed otherwise. Looking at it objectively, there was no point in continuing to study this door since they had plenty of other alternatives. Besides, the current sea projection didn’t seem safe...
Royal shook his head and looked at the other platforms, each with its own colored door. After quickly studying them, he announced:
"If this door is dangerous, let’s head to another one," he pointed to the left and continued, "Over there are the orange doors. They’re similar in size to the black doors we came through. I suggest we go there first."
But Aran objected:
"And why not the blue doors?" he pointed to the right side, where medium-sized blue doors stood.
He smirked and added:
"Why don’t we go to those? They’re smaller than the orange ones, so they should be easier to open."
Royal sighed heavily and just shrugged.
"As you wish. I suggested the orange doors based on their appearance, thinking it might be safer than here... But if you want to go to the blue ones, so be it."
Having made their decision, the group of six went back along the bridge they came from. Then, after descending the stairs, Royal looked around and realized that they now needed to take the left staircase to reach the blue doors.
After descending the middle staircase, the group headed to the left one.
"This staircase is much steeper than the one we climbed earlier," Yulan noted and murmured.
"And more dangerous..." Egro looked down and realized that if he accidentally fell, he’d likely never see daylight again.
Lin, walking in the middle of the group, looked around calmly and replied:
"If we’re careful, we can avoid all that."
Aran laughed ahead and said:
"And how can you not admire the beauty of this place? It’s so unusual that not looking at it might as well be a crime."
"But is it worth your life?" Lin looked at him dispassionately and responded.
Aran was surprised and answered easily:
"Depends on the person. There are many people in the world who’d die for such beauty."
While chatting, the group ascended the tall staircase. When they reached the top, Royal looked around and realized that to get to the blue door, they needed to cross a long bridge, then turn right to another staircase leading down.
Once they went down, they’d find themselves on a large bridge with many branches. They had to choose the right path and follow it all the way to encounter the blue door.
This path was unusual and difficult.
But also interesting.
Royal and the group followed the planned path. They went up the bridge, then turned right and continued forward. When they reached the stairs, they quietly and without question descended them and ended up on a bridge with multiple branches.
"To the right," said Royal, pointing to the right branch.
"This is really exhausting..." sighed Silia.
No matter how unusual the views were, it didn’t change the fact that the path to reach any of the doors was very difficult.
Not to mention, the bridges and staircases themselves were very dangerous, without any handrails to help someone from falling.
Regardless, the group couldn’t change that and had no choice but to accept it and keep moving.
After walking along the right branch and heading straight, the group finally saw the medium-sized blue doors.
"We’re finally here," Royal smiled and quickly led the group to the blue gate.
"Let me open it," Aran volunteered to open the blue door.
No one objected, letting Aran open the door.
Click!
To everyone’s surprise, the blue door, just like the red one, opened with a click and ease!
"Maybe they’re designed to open easily from the inside?" This thought occurred to each of them.
In any case, everyone held their breath and looked at what lay behind the door.
There was...
A dark forest.
The sky above that place was so dark that the moonlight became as rare as a living creature in the depths of the dark ocean!
The trees were dozens of meters tall, covering the entire sky like giant titans blocking out the ordinary world.
Their size was terrifying.
Yulan and Egro swallowed nervously and felt uncomfortable.
"Th-this... Why is this place so gloomy?" Yulan asked.
Aran smirked and looked around, inspecting every part of the place. It was much more interesting than the stormy sea.
"This is fascinating. I’m completely captivated by this place..."
Royal felt unnatural, he looked around but didn’t see anything strange.
"I feel unwell... This place... It’s far more dangerous than the sea..." he thought.
But the strongest feeling was in Lin.
He felt anxiety!
A very strong one when he looked at that dark forest!
"This sense of dread... it’s on par with when a Gate appears nearby... We must not go in. This place is extremely dangerous."
Lin made a decision and began to slowly step back from the blue doors.
The others began doing the same — all except Aran.
"We need to close the door," Royal said.
"Aran, close the door! That place is too dangerous!"
But Aran didn’t respond.
"Aran!"
No answer.
"Something’s wrong with him," Lin frowned.
Suddenly-
Bang!
Something struck them on the back of their heads.
They lost consciousness.
But their bodies suddenly stood up and began walking through the blue door.
All six of them.
When they entered, the blue door slowly began to close.
Click!
The door shut.
