I Don't Want To Be An Omega In My Sister's Trashy Reverse Harem [BL] -
Chapter 25: Mirrors Can’t Reflect Fakes!
Chapter 25: Mirrors Can’t Reflect Fakes!
Rin left the clinic earlier than usual, thanks to Theron. He wanted him to leave early so he won’t be attacked by some female stalkers of Lucien... Or maybe male. freew\ebno\vel..(c)om
After all, Lucien fucked both boys and girls... As long as they have holes.
Theron also warned him to stay away from Lucien Vortellion if he wanted to survive. The Vortellions are dangerous. Rin knew that.
He would definitely try to stay away from Lucien, but he’s the male lead, and Rin has magically become the female lead of the book. Even without their meeting, the story would still make them meet at some point.
Rin tossed his small bag to the floor as he fell onto the bed. It was just evening and his training was around midnight.
He wanted to sleep just a bit more before seeing Lucien again. He walked past the mirror that kept reminding him to register as an omega but as always, he ignored it.
The magic mirror reminded him of a damned alarm. There was nothing like that in this world.
.
.
Later that night, the sky had become dark and cloudy when Rin entered the training hall. The moon peeked in through the windows, casting long shadows across the floor. For once, Lucien wasn’t half-naked or drenched in sweat. Rin sighed in relief... and maybe, just maybe, a little disappointment.
"You’re late," Lucien said, stretching his arms.
Rin shrugged, walking in, closing the door shut behind him with a soft click.
"I overslept. I was so tired after trying to deal with Elna who is still convinced I’m trying to seduce Theron."
Lucien laughed softly.
"I wouldn’t blame her. You do have that... effect."
"What effect?" He folded his arms.
"That kind of effect that can turn a normal man into wanting to have you for dessert..."
Rin rolled his eyes. "Let’s just get to the reason I came."
He didn’t want to continue having any weird conversations with Lucien.
Lucien nodded and gestured for him to sit. Rin refused to sit. He pulled something from inside his clothes. A smooth, silver-backed mirror with a blue rim.
Lucien blinked. "Is that..."
"Yeah. The mirror," Rin said. It was the same mirror that kept bugging him to register as an omega.
He waved it at Lucien.
"You have this, right?"
Lucien nodded.
"We all have them. They’re in every dorm... both students and staff. Even in homes..."
Rin smiled faintly.
"Good. That’s our key."
Lucien frowned.
"To what?"
"Saving your brother."
Lucien still remained confused, wondering how a mirror could save his brother.
"Listen, your father already knows about your brother. Maybe, not fully, but he must be doubting if your brother is an omega or an alpha,"
"How do you know about that?" Lucien raised a brow. "Don’t tell me you visited my father,"
"No... I mean, I did but I only went because of you,"
"I told you to stay away from that man. He could detect your gender within seconds," Lucien grabbed Rin’s shoulders, jerking him back and forth.
Rin just rubbed his chin with his fingers. He couldn’t tell Lucien that he had already been found out.
"Don’t worry, he didn’t suspect anything. I wore your shirt..." He lied. Lucien’s cheek immediately flushed red as he cleared his throat.
"You still kept that?"
Rin’s brows creased.
’What’s going on with this fool?’
"If you want a new one, I could give it to you," he said proudly.
"Oh, thank you, young master..." Rin rubbed his palms together.
"Now, back to what we were talking about..." He watched Lucien closely before explaining. "All your brother needs to do is stop hiding. Take your mirror, swap it with his at the estate. The mirrors aren’t very smart. They go by appearance as long as you’re registered. If your brother looks like you, he just has to stand in front of it. Let it read him. Let it call him an alpha."
Lucien’s eyes widened.
"It won’t detect the difference?"
Rin shook his head.
"It shouldn’t. Especially if he plays the part. Maybe he should stand in front of the mirror, get dressed by servants and let the mirror read him in front of them."
"My brother doesn’t like the servants touching him..."
"He better do what I say if not... He’ll get caught. Just for some weeks..."
Lucien slowly sat down, staring at the mirror.
"That could actually work..."
Rin nodded.
"It’s risky. But if your dad thinks your brother’s an alpha, then he won’t toss him into the Game. Especially when rumours start to spread about him,"
Without a word, Lucien surged forward and hugged him tightly. Rin didn’t read about Lucien’s brother in the book, maybe because his brother was thrown into the ’Game’ and he didn’t survive. If his presence in this world changes the story plot, then, his brother is going to survive.
"Okay! Okay!" Rin wheezed. "You’re suffocating me, you overgrown prince."
Lucien chuckled and pulled back, only for a voice to suddenly appear beside them.
"My Lord."
Rin jumped a full foot in the air.
"What the hell?!"
Lucien raised a brow.
"Dorian. Show some manners. You’re scaring him."
Rin backed away.
"Who is that?"
"My shadow guard. Dorian. Don’t worry, he’s loyal. He won’t say a word about anything he hears."
Rin eyed Dorian suspiciously but nodded.
Lucien pointed to Rin’s mirror, turning to Dorian.
"Go to my room and take my mirror to my brother. Explain everything you’ve heard to him. He needs to stop acting like an omega. Play alpha from now on."
Dorian bowed. "Understood, my lord,"
Rin added, "Tell him not to isolate himself. Get dressed by servants. Stand in front of the mirror every morning like it’s normal. Maybe, for a month or so..."
Dorian gave a faint nod before shadows rose around him. In the next blink, he was gone.
Rin blinked. "Magic? Wait! Was that magic?"
He was a bit excited to see it in real life.
Lucien nodded.
"Only alphas can use it. Nobles or commoners, it doesn’t matter. If you’re not an alpha, no magic."
Rin folded his arms.
"What kind of messed-up discrimination is that?"
Lucien grinned.
"It’s always been that way."
"Tch," Rin muttered. "I don’t need magic. I have charm and sarcasm."
"Of course, you do... Baby lamb," Lucien chuckled. "So... training?"
"Let’s do it."
They sparred for over an hour. Nothing too serious, since Rin’s arm was still injured. After the short training, they left the training hall.
.
.
The next few days passed smoothly. Too smoothly that it had been a whole month since Rin found himself in that world.
He was used to chaos, but life at the academy suddenly felt... calm. There haven’t been any threats or attacks or drama from Lucien or... Elna.
That was, until today.

Rin froze.
’Again???’
Four omega boys stood in front of him. They were average in height, handsome, and very pissed. Of course, they were always pissed
One of them held a whip. Another, a thin dagger. All their eyes were filled with hatred.
Rin’s mouth opened.
"What the hell did I do now?"
One of them snarled, "Lucien Vortellion."
Rin groaned. "Of course... It’s him,"
Four against one. And they had weapons.
He had nothing but sarcasm and as an omega, he couldn’t even use magic.
"You slept with him, didn’t you?!" another shouted.
"Slept with him?!" Rin tilted his head to the side. "I haven’t slept with him... not yet!"
Well, he wasn’t lying...
"Not yet?"
They didn’t believe him.
Rin took a step back.
"Shit! This is bad... so very, very bad."
He grumbled, looking around for anyone... but he was all alone.
