Chapter 352 - 352: A mysterious enemy

In every danger, in every problem Apollo always face it with calm mind, though there are times he would get frustrated he would always found ways to calm down. However this time, its different. His sense are giving him a warning, the system is giving him nothing about his enemy. Worst of all his body is shaking and he knows its not because of excitement.

The pressure, its mere presence that he couldn't even feel against Dominos. It filled him with unparalleled tension that sends shiver across his spine. But ven when his body is giving him warning to go his will stood firm.

"You are calm" he suddenly said as him commanding himself to obey.

"You are not shaking" he continue slowly removing the things that made his enemy look fearsome.

"There is no pressure" like a hypnosis he began to convince himself about the incoming danger.

His body stop jerking and his mind became clear, he stirs his senses to pinpoint the weaknesses his enemy have. He didn't dare think of anything else and just let himself be focus. His eyes glow even more and slowly he was able to see it.

What forming across its body is a shimmered of energy, it was thick and dense. The snow around it didn't fall—it fled, as though even the weather refused its presence. Apollo did not give up and immediately recalibrated the system and with its update he slowly sees his opponent. The creature's body was humanoid, but too tall, too thin, with limbs that bent slightly wrong. It had no face—just a swirling void where a head should be.

Upon seeing its appearance for the first time, he felt it weird and disoriented.

"What is that thing?" he muttered.

[Creator, are you ready? Though I couldn't get any of its attributes we could still see its energy flow. That way we could predict its action]

"Okay, that good but what the hell is that thing?"

[Its a beast but there is no recorded data about it in the tower]

"Check the records from Mahika"

[Already doing it....]

While Jeremiah was busy searching Apollo look at the approaching beast.

Jeremiah's voice crackled with unease.

[This entity doesn't match any recorded beast but just like what we suspected Mahika had records of it, unfortunately it doesn't have any records about any weaknesses]

Then Jeremiah transfer the information to Apollo making the latter confused.

"It was Elias who defeated this thing, then can we access his memories. There should be a left over from the fragments inside me"

[Creator, I could not extract anything....the fragments are not enough to form any memories unfortunately we cant get anything]

"Thats not good"

Apollo form his stance and tried to read its future movements since it continue to approach them without stopping.

"Apollo I just start to notice it but how come its still walking after all this time? If I am not mistaken is been walking for a few seconds now"

"Oh that, I actually manipulated the space to make him walk in endless loop"

"What!"

In truth Apollo used three authorities, space, time and mystics, to keep the mysterious beast at bay. Though he wasn't sure if God's authorities will last. Since he doesn't know if authorities can work against it.

"I wanna first see if it could absorb authorities like Nero, if it can them that would be a problem"

The beast continue to move in loop without realizing what's going with itself.

Alicia raised her hands. Her mana changing and turning into a spell that even Apollo does not recognize.

"What the hell is that"

A grey magic circle was drawn and a great explosion blasted right into the enemy. Apollo despite having a boosted stats still having a hard to keep his stance.

"Whatever that spell is its power is much higher that my spell"

For a moment Apollo thought that the enemy is done for but then he saw something strange.

The beast broke through the authorities and actually move to defend against the spell Alicia just cast.

The enemy raised head though it looked dislocated. In an instant an intense amount of energy focus on my point aiming to intercept the magic that Alicia just cast.

Instantly, Apollo moved, creating a different kind of bullets and gun. It was modified to mimic the same effect as Alicia's energy distorting spell. It was really powerful to the extent that not even Nirvana's spell could absorb it. That same spell he replicated it and embedded it into bullets.

Since all he knew about the enemy its characteristics of being made of energy. So Alicia's spell is the perfect counter for it.

Gunshots began to rang penetrating into the dome of classing energies. The bullets might not hit the target but it doesn't matter, it will activited the moment its metal body disappears.

Mana began to flow in chaos causing for the beast to lose against the battle of power from Alicia's spell. Without any strength to block, it hit him causing another explosion to crumble the icy floor.

A roar was then heard and Apollo saw it, its disoriented mana suddenly became balance again and with some sort of concentration, its abundant of energy became an attack that made Apollo and Alicia put on thier maximum guard.

The enemy didn't wait further and released its attack.

It happen in a second something fast came to Apollo and Alicia, the boy made efforts to make the attack less threatening, Apollo created a field of magic that disrupt mana. It was able to weaken the attack before landing straight into the defensive barrier of the two.

With a pulse, the impact collapsed the area,gravity, space, and time all distorted as the battlefield was swallowed in a dome of warped space.

Apollo roared like a beast casting trying his best to minimize the damage. If it were to expand the entire forest of Afra will disappear along the mines.

Apollo summoned the power of the four fundamental forces, using it to minimize the expanding area of explosion. Using the gravity he tried to pull the chaotic energy inward, but that wasn't helping the chaws of destruction is expanding faster, so while the barrier was still able to stand Apollo tried to use the magnetic field to try and contain blast. Both gravity and electromagnetism were in work, while he was still keeping the defensive barrier intact.

"Damn it!"

It was like an endless pit of mana that exist to swallowed everything Apollo doesn't like what's going on.

The dome cracked with a sound like splitting glass. Apollo burst kept his calm, dragging gravity itself behind him like a cloak.

Jeremiah the stat points, use it to increase my attributes. I know that currently the entire continent is filled with death absorbed everything and upgrade my statistics"

[Affirmative... command has already bit executed]

With his stats all rise up with cracks in the barrier was soon healed making it stronger than before.

Electricity then surged in every direction as he spiraled forward.

"Thunder Aura, Flash point"

The sky screamed.

Lightning answered.

Ten thousand bolts fell from above, merging with the gravity field like a whirlpool of death. The world turned white with electricity and heat. The energy that was previously sent by the enemy was suck by the power of electricity. The spell didn't end there after minimizing the damage it went straight into the enemy's head striking it hard.

But the creature didn't fall.

In the center of the crater, it still stood. Half of its body was missing—but it regenerated instantly. The void in its face opened like a mouth, and a psychic shriek tore through Apollo's mind.

"GRAAHHHHH—!" Apollo staggered, blood running from his ears.

But then he heard a crisp sound, it was clap. Bewildered he looked beside him and saw Alicia who already transform into a demon.

"Magic doesn't see to work, how about we try something more physical"

"Lets give it try." Apollo grit his teeth. "Nebula is here with me after all"

Then one of the Apollos soon at their back, he look at Alicia before pointing his revolver, hinting its purpose in the battle. A bullet lined with the Authority of Time shimmered between the barrel and space.

Another Apollo came holding a rifle within his hand is a bullet to disrupt the energy of the enemy.

"Okay I hate to admit that last attack hurts, but.."

He can't help but smile, as he heard the painful shriek of the enemy,

"I bet he is feeling way worse" all his wounds suddenly heal and his stamina was restored, he was ready to fight yet again.

He and Alicia then dash forward to attack along them are the two Apollos, whose weapons are ready to assist them.

Bang.

The bullet hit.

Time fractured.

The creature froze, bound mid-regeneration as its own existence stuttered. Apollo didn't wait. His sword ignited with Sacred Flame, this time he wants to try purifying it

He charged.

"RAHHH—!"

Just as he was about to strike—

Alicia's voice echoed.

"Sky fall"
