After looking through thousands of body tempering techniques, Zixin chose six of these techniques. Body Tempering Techniques don’t have Star Rankings like Qi Cultivation Techniques where the higher the star ranking a technique has, the stronger it is.

For example, Wan Shui chose the Ten Thousand Swords Soul Technique, a Five Star Technique. The most obvious benefit for all cultivation techniques is the speed of Qi Training.

A Non-Star technique has a ratio of one is to one, meaning, a one day cultivation session is no different from a day’s worth of training. A One Star technique has a ratio of one is to ten, a day’s cultivation is like cultivating for ten days. A Two Star technique has a ratio of one is to thirty, a Three Star technique has a ratio of one is to sixty, a Four Star Technique has a ratio of one is to one hundred and a Five Star Technique has a ratio of one is to two hundred.

That’s why Wan Shui reached them Core Condensing Realm in just a day plus a few hours, and there are other benefits he’s yet to explore and discover.

Since Body Tempering Techniques don’t have Star Rankings, Zixin chose the ones he thought were extremely powerful and practical and it was a total of six of these of these techniques.

Refined Metal Body, Beastly Essence Body Refinement, Treasured Flames Body Refinement, Totem Body Technique, Gravitational Force Tempering and Lightning Refined Pure Body.

The Beastly Essence Body Refinement is a technique that expands and strengthens the veins and heart for improved stamina, quicker recovery and increased healing abilities. To practice it, one has to hunt down Battle Beasts with great vitality, collect their Blood Essence then absorb them in the method provided by the technique. Using Blood Essence of the same Battle Beast weakens the effects of the technique.

The Treasured Flames Body Refinement is a technique that uses unique flames birthed from nature to strengthen the body. Once you’ve obtained the Treasured Flame, absorb it in the method of the technique. The same Treasure Flame can’t be used twice and once practiced to the extreme, one can have fire immunity.

Totem Body Technique is not a body tempering technique but instead a strength boost technique. Obtain the Blood Essence of the Battle Beast you want and engrave the beast’s totem on your body, it can be legs, arms, chest, back, etc. The totems can be stacked and once you think others are useless, the strongest totem will then devour the other totems of the same attributes to boost itself but it’s heavily reliant on the body and how much it can carry.

The Gravitational Force Tempering Technique is as the name suggests, one simply trains under gravitational force, it boosts speed, increases bone density and endurance. Many powerful sects including the Demonic Sect have Gravitational Force training room but not just anyone can practice there since it’s extremely dangerous with a very high mortality rate.

Last but not least is the Lightning Refined Pure Body Technique where one endures lightning bolts, absorbs them into the body and expel impurities. Under the baptism of lightning, muscles are strengthened, the blood and the body are purified and speed is increased. Every attack contains a penetrating force that’s hard to block or avoid and once practiced to the extreme, lightning immunity is gained.

Zixin planned to practice the techniques that relied on Battle Beasts last since Battle Beasts are in abundance and not going anywhere. He was going to practice Refined Metal Body to completion before choosing another technique to practice.

"Fatso, which sects or families are rich in mineral mines or just people with a lot of mineral resources?" asked Zixin in a calm voice.

"Replying to the Young Master, I only know banks under chamber of commerces with a lot of gold, silver and precious jewellery. These banks are the Jade Banks, Beauty Bank, Collections Bank, Glowing Stones Bank and the Underground Bank. These banks aren’t just big in the Sparrow Kingdom but the biggest in the world so no one provokes them. These banks are found in the Four Jade Cities, Feng City and Tuo City, the Big Six of the Sparrow Kingdom." explained Fatso.

"Which City is closest to us?"

"That would be Feng City, it’s in the middle of the Blacksmith Association and the Volcanic Sect. The Blacksmith Association is another big fish that has branches all over the world. Only Blacksmiths with Treasured Flames are allowed to be members of the Blacksmith Association. They also produce high quality weapons and treasures and no one messes with them."

"Good. Our next stop is the Volcanic Sect and Feng City. Let’s go!"

While travelling, the group had friendly conversations, making jokes and sharing their goals and dreams.

"Young Master, can I ask you something?" said Tiger.

"Go ahead."

"Young Master, please don’t kill me but why do you love killing people? You don’t seem like someone who loves to kill but someone who loves training and growing stronger." asked Tiger without beating around the bush.

"Tiger, looks can be deceiving so don’t judge people based on their appearances. As for why I love killing people... I won’t say it’s because I’m a demonic cultivator. You see, I’ve realised something about being a killer, everyone fears you if you’re a killer like the Demonic Sect. No one easily messes with the Demonic Sect and I want the same thing, I want everyone to be afraid of me and dare not provoke me, you could say I’m afraid of being bullied so I’m creating a deterrence effect for myself." said Zixin after carefully picking his words.

"But when everyone fears, they will band together to kill you, doesn’t that contradict with your goal of not being messed with?"

"That’s true but it depends on the person. For example, let’s say you fear a rat and you’re trapped in a room with one, would you kill the rat or allow it to devour you?"

"Naturally, I would kill it, if push comes to shove then I’ll stomp it to death, that simple."

"This..." Tiger involuntarily thought back to Zixin’s cruel ways of killing and shivered.

"You would die, and you would die without even fighting back. Even if there was a hundred of you, you would still not dare to attack me. That’s because you know what I’m capable of." explained Zixin.

"I understand! Man-made fear is more terrifying than natural fear, no matter how scary people say a tiger is, I would still fight it to survive but you... I would just accept my fate and die."

"Glad you understand." said Zixin while gazing at the sky.

’Live long enough to see yourself become a villain, huh. I became that which I swore to destroy.... But I love it!’ thought Zixin as an evil smile crept on his face.
