I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means
Chapter 1062 - 624: Me? As Councilman?_2

It seems the information we received earlier, that Steven couldn't even break through the defenses of the Floating City during his invasion, is true.

This Floating City is in quite a remarkable state!

"May I know what brings you to visit me, Sir Oriolan?"

Lis looked at Oriolan with a slight smile and spoke frankly.

For him, there's no need for too many false pleasantries.

Seeing this, Oriolan was not surprised and replied with a smile:

"I am here today to meet you, Lis, on behalf of the Pan-Continent Mage Association, to invite you to join us."

Just as Lis expected, Oriolan said.

Upon hearing this, Lis nodded slightly, as he could have guessed this.

Even though he had a connection with Mr. Stephens of the Judgement Flame, Lis had not truly joined the Pan-Continent Mage Association.

Every Legendary Mage is invited to join the Pan-Continent Mage Association; what they gain after joining depends on their individual choices.

Most Legendary Mages merely have a nominal presence in the Pan-Continent Mage Association and do not typically participate in its affairs.

However, the power of the association is quite formidable as long as a portion of Legendary Mages joins it.

Joining the Pan-Continent Mage Association is something Lis would not refuse, as it allows communication channels with the association and provides support to some extent.

As for other matters, they can be discussed gradually.

The fact that the Star Dome Observer Oriolan came personally to invite Lis demonstrates the association's regard for him.

"I understand, and I am naturally willing to accept the association's invitation."

"Since you've come all the way here, Oriolan, why not take a tour of my Floating City?"

Lis invited Oriolan with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Oriolan was naturally pleased.

He was very interested in the newly emerged Floating City.

Lis waved his hand, and a weak but stable space fluctuation enveloped him and Oriolan.

Oriolan did not resist, allowing the space power to envelop him, and soon they were in a luxuriously decorated reception room.

Meanwhile, he noticed that the Golden Mage attendant who had been following him also appeared behind him, with a bewildered look as if he had been teleported here suddenly.

"As expected from the disciple of the Judgement Flame, Lis, your accomplishments in Space Magic are quite remarkable."

Oriolan praised with admiration.

He could also cast Space Magic to the same degree, but how long had it been since he became a legend, compared to Lis?

The difference between them was something he didn't even want to delve into. Perhaps that's why the Judgement Flame took him as a disciple?

Lis nodded with a smile but didn't say much.

Every time Lis had surplus experience points to raise his skill level, his first choice was Space Magic.

First of all, Lis had the Space Analysis Notes by Stephens, which was probably the most comprehensive and powerful Magic Book for cultivating Space Magic in Gaia World.

Furthermore, the convenience and practicality of Space Magic continuously elevated its cost-effectiveness.

Survival and escape skills have the highest priority!

Moreover, Space Magic's destructive power is also quite formidable, so Lis would never neglect the basics.

After signaling his attendants to leave, Oriolan and Lis sat down, and Oriolan solemnly said to Lis:

"Lis, I am here today on behalf of the Pan-Continent Mage Association inviting you, with the entire association's sincerity."

"I understand it's for this Floating City, right?"

Lis nodded, and spoke earnestly.

"Yes."

Oriolan did not evade, admitting directly.

"As the disciple of the Judgement Flame, you should be very aware of the value of a Floating City, both to you and to the Pan-Continent Mage Association."

"Of course, we not only value this Floating City, but also you as its Controller."

"Rest assured, Lis, the association has no intention of taking the Floating City from you, but sincerely invites you to join the Pan-Continent Mage Association along with the Floating City."

"Lis, this is for you."

Oriolan took out a seven-colored gemstone ring emanating mysterious magical fluctuations and placed it on the table in front of Lis.

Lis looked serious as he gazed at the colorless gemstone ring.

He had never seen this ring, but at this moment, he sensed an extremely powerful force within, a power above the legendary rank, yet different from Divine Power.

Noticing Lis's attention, Oriolan nodded and said:

"This ring was personally crafted by the Councilman of the Pan-Continent Mage Association, Master of Time Traces, Osiris Chronos, and contains his unique arcane, End Time Bell."

"This Time Arcane can remove you from this timeline when you face a deadly threat."

Hiss~

Time series arcane?

Time Arcane is already quite rare, and now there's one embedded in a ring?

The name of the Master of Time Traces, Osiris Chronos, was known to Lis, but he had never seen him in action, and information about him was scant.

He only knew that this Legendary Mage was most skilled in Time Magic.

Among the types of spells mages could master, three were the hardest to grasp and the rarest.

First is Space Magic, second is Time Magic, and third is Destiny Magic!

Although Space Magic is difficult, it is the simplest among the three types and is the easiest for mage professionals to grasp.

But Time Magic and Destiny Magic are different, with very few mages mastering them, making them extremely rare.

The representative spell of Destiny Magic is the Prayer Technique, while the representative spell of Time Magic is Time Freeze.

These are the best-known and widely-spread Legendary Magics, but Time Freeze is quite different from true Time Magics.

Compared to Destiny Magic, Time Magic is actually rarer.

Because even though Destiny Magic is scarce, Divine Arts do not lack those related to Destiny Power.

After igniting the Divine Fire and ascending the Divine Throne, the powerful forces of gods allow them to touch the power of destiny to some extent, but the mighty power of time is different.

They might manage to forcibly affect the time of a certain area in Gaia World using Divine Power, but that is not the same as controlling the Power of Time.

To date, aside from some exceptionally unique existences, the only known entity capable of stably controlling the Power of Time is one of the Three Great Legendary Dragon Species, the Time Dragon.

Therefore, the existence of the Master of Time Traces, Osiris Chronos, is quite special.

Some say the Councilman of the Pan-Continent Mage Association entered into a contract with a Time Dragon and acquired the ability to control the Power of Time.

Others speculate that Osiris Chronos is just a false identity and that he is actually a Time Dragon.

The specifics are unknown, but the ring containing Time Arcane before him is indeed very enticing.

"This is..."

Lis carefully examined the ring, then looked up at Oriolan to ask.

"This is a gift from the association."

"Of course, the significance of this ring is not just for the Time Arcane inside it."

Oriolan looked at Lis, with a very solemn expression, speaking word by word:

"If you, Lis, can bring the Floating City and join the Pan-Continent Mage Association, the association promises to fully support you, from any Transcendent Materials to Legendary Arcane, and so on."

"Most importantly, you will be directly granted the position of a Legendary Councilman of the Pan-Continent Mage Association!"

"Becoming the fourth councilman after the Master of Time Traces, Osiris Chronos; the Judgement Flame, Stephens Fran; the Star Realm Weaver, Akanshas Talindra!"

Upon hearing this, Lis was taken aback and somewhat incredulous.

They want me?

To be a councilman?

Is the Pan-Continent Mage Association really so bold?
