Tang Ye waved his hand, dismissing the two before he walked towards the location of the hive.

As he ventured deeper, the surrounding forests should have been getting denser. However, the closer he got to the hive, the thinner the evolved plants became. Some had even wilted, and the soil on the ground presented a strange brownish-grey color.

When he finally stood before the hive, plants within a ten-kilometer radius appeared as though they were in a transition from autumn to winter, their leaves yellowing, withered and dead. Within sight, he saw no evolved beasts, only countless pale zombies!

Before he could get to the hive, a conscious voice echoed in his head.

"Why are you here..."

"What, you’re not happy to see me?"
