"They haven’t arrived yet?"

The meeting was supposed to begin at three o’clock, but the Peace Party has yet to arrive. If it weren’t for someone from Peace Party reassuring him that they would be there, Li Songhua would have thought that the Peace Party never planned on coming.

"Hiss~"

Li Songhua’s face turned extremely ugly. His already bad mood was further exacerbated. He couldn’t hold it in anymore and was about to explode, but the moment before he could let out a word, a careless figure appeared at the door, hands in pockets, swaying into the room. This figure casually chose a seat, and even snatched a cigar from someone at the neighbouring table, sticking it into his mouth.

Whoosh~

He lit a cigarette and sharply exhaled a thick plume of white smoke. He put his feet up on the table, appearing extremely arrogant. It was none other than Tang Ye in his human form -- Li Henian.

Seeing his look, Li Songhua almost suffocated on the spot, his face turning red. It took him a long time to catch his breath.

As he spoke, Li Songhua’s voice, perhaps due to the increasing passion in his heart, returned to normal. Seeing the surprised expressions on everyone’s faces after hearing his speech, he slightly smiled and continued, "It seems everyone is surprised. I guess you all have figured out my decision now?"

"Indeed! I will defend Qinshan Base till the end!" Li Songhua’s eyes casually swept over Tang Ye, showing no emotion but Tang Ye squinted his eyes in response.

What does that mean?

Tang Ye was a little puzzled, but he didn’t think much about it.

The other people at the meeting stirred when they heard Li Songhua’s words. Some were completely shocked, some turned pale, and others frowned deeply.

There were over a million zombies in Hua City, forming such a massive horde attacking Qinshan Base was nothing to joke about!

"As a part of this base, you all should contribute. As the decision maker here, I must also do something for this base and the people living here! I will not run!"

Li Songhua made these statements with vigorous enthusiasm. As he spoke, a sense of heroic spirit began to well up from within, and his tone became even more inspiring.

"I know my past deeds have given you all a lot of biases about me. I invited you here today because firstly, I want to prove that I, Li Songhua, am not as squalid as the rumors made me out to be! Secondly, I want to discuss with you all how to deal with the impending zombie horde!"

The faces of the leaders of the various factions below were filled with surprise, exchanging looks with one another, they turned to look at Li Songhua. Before long, a person in a chemical protection-suit stood up abruptly and angrily shouted: "What’s your intention? You have no solution, so you brought us here to come up with a plan? Without any solution, you still want to resist that many zombies, are you trying to feed them?"

"Yeah, guys, Li Songhua is not thinking straight. We still have a chance to survive if we leave the base now, why should we throw our lives away for him?"

"That’s right!"

The people below shouted one by one, yet on the stage, Li Songhua seemed not to care much, let alone get angry. Instead, he showed a slight smile, but the next second, that smile changed! It became extremely cold!

He waved his hand, and immediately several soldiers armed with laser weapons walked in and began to fire at the loud-mouthed gang leaders below!

Bang bang bang!

Blood splattered all over, and the place immediately quieted down, everyone dared not even breathe.

The laser weapons in the hands of the soldiers were obviously far more advanced than the Canghe-P90, and it was clear that these were not weapons that belonged to Qinshan Base.

Li Songhua’s eyes flashed with a hint of madness, the mouth on his covered by his collar revealed itself. It opened wide, looking as though it was laughing wildly!

"Boss Wang Qingfeng, what is with that expression? Do you have a good solution? Why don’t you share?"

PS: I have been struggling with this Chapter for a few days now, with continuous overtime at work as the New Year approaches, I’m finding it hard to get inspired. I’ll take a day off, my apologies to everyone, I’ll do my best to keep the plot moving along.
