"You...!!"

Just as Tang Ye was transforming back into his human form from his zombie state, a terrified voice sounded behind him. Turning around, he saw the Fei Che Party member who had previously capsized his motorcycle.

At this moment, the only living person at the scene was this Fei Che Party member. Scattered all over the place were the bodies of his companions and those warriors who had given their lives in battle.

Tang Ye had not expected this man to survive so long. It had been over twelve hours since the dragon zombie unleashed its corrosive breath and flooded the valley, yet the Fei Che Party member remained on the shore, just two or three meters away from the edge of the dragon’s toxic breath.

Tang Ye looked over and saw that one of his legs was a bloody mess, while the other was intact. His inability to stand must have been due to his injured leg.

Tang Ye glanced at his leg and sniffed. The man was a new human, so his leg should be almost healed.

"Get up."

Because of his leg injury, Niu Xiaosan preferred to stay seated, but understanding that Tang Ye, a zombie disguised as a human, wouldn’t kill him offered him some relief. Initially, he wanted to use his leg injury as an excuse to be spared, but then it crossed his mind that if Tang Ye became upset and killed him, it wouldn’t be worth it.

And then there was the giant dragon zombie behind him. A single bite could end him hundreds of times over!

Niu Xiaosan stood up, using one hand to prop himself up, then he heard Tang Ye say, "Walk a few steps."

He tried to walk a few steps. Although limping, he could still walk; just couldn’t run.

Then Tang Ye pointed to the bodies of the soldiers and told Niu Xiaosan, "Find something to collect their bodies and then bury them."

Niu Xiaosan was startled and looked at Tang Ye with puzzlement, thinking: "You’re a zombie. Instead of eating the bodies, you’re burying them?"

Despite his inner complaints, Niu Xiaosan didn’t dare to voice them out. Instead, he muttered, "Lord... Lord Zombie King, you see, these bodies are so decayed, how am I supposed to collect them?"

Helpless, Niu Xiaosan could only pick up an iron rod and, with a limp, start collecting the scattered bodies into a corner.

Tang Ye’s gaze floated away from him as if he were a god. He flew to the dragon zombie’s head, leaving Niu Xiaosan shocked and frightened.

What level of power was needed for such abilities!

The strongest people he had encountered in the apocalypse were the leaders of the Fei Che Party that had recently raided G Province - the Chen brothers.

Their Level 4 New Human strength made them almost invincible, allowing them to bring all Fei Che Party in G Province under their control.

In his mind, the Chen brothers were the most powerful. But today, in front of him, Tang Ye showcased power akin to that of a deity, leaving him feeling dreamy.

Anybody who saw a zombie capable of disguising as a human and flying would undoubtedly think of him as unbeatable. Such abilities could only be seen on TV.

Moreover, he had a dragon zombie that could exhale corrosive breath as a pet. He was like a living, breathing "final boss"!

Facing such a high-level zombie, Niu Xiaosan had no thoughts of escape. He could only follow Tang Ye’s instructions and get to work.

So Niu Xiaosan, with only a stick in hand, dug a large pit in the ground. He threw in the bodies and pieces of decomposed flesh one by one, then covered them with earth.

After finishing the job, he wiped the sweat from his forehead, planning to tell Tang Ye that he was done, only to discover that Tang Ye was suddenly behind him, holding a large stone tablet in his hand.

"Out of the way."

Tang Ye pushed him aside, held up the tablet with both hands, and with a "thud", inserted it into the ground.

"How did you guys end up here?"

Having done that, Tang Ye asked Niu Xiaosan. He had just arrived at the paradise protected by the military before the apocalypse and did not expect it to be gone by the following day.

"It’s a long story. We used to rob survivors on the highways, but two months ago, a group of outsiders from S Province made it all the way here and killed our boss."

"Get to the point." Tang Ye frowned. He didn’t want to hear the history of the Fei Che Party in G Province.

"This is the point, Lord Zombie King, just let me finish." Niu Xiaosan’s head was covered in a layer of cold sweat from the freezing weather. He wiped it away and tightened his coat further.

"Who were these outsiders?"

"They were also Fei Che Party members like us, but their bosses were very strong. One was named Chen Zhouquan, and the other was Chen Zhou’an. Both were Level 4 New Humans. From G Province’s Lingshan Expressway to S Province, all the Fei Che Party were under these two!"

"Not all of us who joined the Fei Che Party were naturally bad guys. It’s the apocalypse; we have to survive too. Nobody wants to do the dirty work, but we do it to live. After our previous boss was killed, we just recognized the Chen brothers as our new bosses. What matters most is our survival."
