The bow of the ship broke through the waves. Inside the cabin, the captain’s face had turned from white to red. His hands gripping the steel railing of the control desk were clammy with sweat, betraying his internal anxiety!

With great difficulty, Yaztec managed to steady his nerves. As soon as he set his camera correctly, it seemed as if the gods were playing a prank on him. The massive bubble that had sprung out of the water began to fall slowly as if time were dilating. As seconds ticked by, it revealed a massive object.

No one could see the full object. All they could see was a gigantic "plank" with dry and wrinkled skin, akin to tree bark.

"What the hell is this thing?"

People asked. However, their queries did not slow their escape. Amidst the speculation, a "boom" resonated from below the ship. Most people couldn’t keep their balance and rolled over about a dozen meters. Some even got tossed into the sea, crashed into by a whale and feasted on by swarms of zombie fish!

All the whales simultaneously let out an eerie, mournful cry. It seemed that ever since the appearance of the bark-like substance, the whales had been swimming faster!

Moreover, the whales no longer retained their sanity. The commotion was caused by a whale panicking and recklessly rushing about!
