Chapter 426: Unsettling Movements
(Drakken’s POV)
"I am going to take my leave now." I told Tyene and Elia, "I have sons in Harrenhal who await me. And of course, my wives."
We were at the edge of the courtyard, I was about to leave Sunspear after impregnating Tyene. There was no doubt about it; I was successful in the deed.
Elia nodded, "Very well." She said, "Give your wives our regards. I trust an amicable relationship will start between our Houses from now on. Despite the animosity we have had before."
"Hm, perhaps." I said with a smirk
"Thank you." Elia said, "For everything."
"No worries." I said as I looked at Tyene, who had her arms in front of her, "And you...."
I walked up to her and placed my hand on her cheek, causing her to close her eyes and take in the feeling of my touch.
"My Lord...." She said, "I hope....one day you will visit me....prior to the child’s birth."
"Hm, I will." I said
"I will write to you." She said, "I will confirm the pregnancy with time. I hope.....I hope I won’t fail you."
"You won’t." I told her with a slight smirk, "I know it."
I pulled away and turned around, looking up at the sun as it shone down on the land. I could feel the heat all over my skin, it was quite the day for Dorne. But I am sure that within time, the days would get even hotter.
"Years from now." I spoke up, "The Desert God will rise from the earth and it will seek out my child. When that happens, that child must be ready. It is within the Desert God’s directive, it is the purpose I gave it aside from the production of Dust. I trust that when that comes to be, everything will be well."
"Yes...." Elia said, "You have nothing to worry about. We won’t fail you."
I glanced at Tyene, "I will see you once again, Tyene." I said, "You have my word. Until then, remember my warmth."
She blushed, "My Lord....." She said as she looked down, "I....."
"I enjoyed you." I said, "You are quite beautiful. And you will be even more beautiful still. So until I come back, take care of yourself."
"I am leaving now."

(Third Person POV)
[Near Old Ghis, Essos, Several Days Later]
The sky was dark that day, and a storm was approaching.
While it was quite unusual for that area of Essos, it did not alarm the locals who resided in small villages near the ruined city of Old Ghis.
The land was quiet, only the sound of distant thunder was heard as more clouds gathered by the second a few villagers were making their way towards their homes. They were looking up, seeing how the clouds went from a dark grey, to a pitch black, then back to a light grey. Such formations were a bit strange but they didn’t think much of it.
All that mattered was that they would go back to their homes before the storm began, as they did not want to get caught up in the rain.
Two villagers were walking the stone path that led to their village, "I’ve heard several things from Tyrosh." One said, "Did you ever know that one of the Lords sailed to Dorne and was killed on the sea just outside it?"
"What do you mean?" the other said, "When was this?"
"A long time ago, about a year at most." the villager said, "There have been some conflicts in Westeros as of late, the past couple of years. Word doesn’t reach this far east, but when it does, it feels like fresh news."
"How did you even hear about it?" the other asked
"Apparently a sailor from Tyrosh went to Volantis and told the story." He said, "And word is that some other traders went to Mereen and told everyone there. One trader who usually makes business with one of the slavers told them of that just about three weeks ago, and I overheard them discuss it."
"Who killed him?" the other asked
"The God of War and Death, it seems." the villager said
"The one who kills whoever he wants?" the other asked, "That is mad....gods help us all...."
"Yea...." He said, "It is quite insane. It is-....wait.....what is that sound?"
"The thunder?" the other asked
"No." they both stopped, "That sound...."
Suddenly, the sound of flapping wings was heard and they both looked up in alarm as a massive winged figure flew right above them, followed by a bone-chilling roar.
They threw themselves at the ground as the roar kept going, "What the?!"
In the sky above them, a dragon was soaring about, dark green in color as it had bright yellow eyes. It was a good size, around 7 meters in length. It roared as it looked at the distance, as if it was looking at something.
"What is going....on?" the villager said as they heard a second pair of flapping wings
They looked to see another dragon soaring above them; a bright blue one with dark shading on its belly. The dragon had bright purple eyes with dark horns as well. It appeared to be much larger than the green one, around 10 meters in length.
The blue dragon flew right at the green one as it opened its maw and shot flames at it. The flames hit the green dragon as it tried to move out of the way. It let out another roar as it shook its neck, shrugging the flames off as the blue one attempted to clash with it, raising its claws at it.
The green dragon returned fire at it, hitting it on the belly, forcing the blue one to flap its wings and move out of the way.
The two villagers watched in pure awe as two dragons were clashing in the sky above it, fighting fiercely for an unknown reason.
"J-Just what are we witnessing...?" one of them said
"Dragons....." the other said
Then, they heard a footstep behind them.
Both of them immediately turned to see a hooded figure standing some meters away. They were wearing a grey cloak, tattered completely as only their bare feet were visible, covered in blisters and blood.
"Who....?" one of the villagers said
They both then saw a glint of white hair as the breeze hit all of them and the hood fluttered slightly, revealing a quick peek of a purple eye from what seemed like a feminine face.
"Dragons...." The Hooded Stranger said in High-Valyrian, "Dragons are our birthright....."
"We shall have them."
