Chapter 943: Chapter 943: What Irritates Me Now Isn’t This Matter_1
Chapter 943
After the room became quiet, Nathaniel looked at Chloe Collins and with his lips, asked, "Do you know about this?"
Chloe Collins simply shook her head.
Nathaniel had his own rank in the Secret Network. He didn’t strive for honor, purposefully ranking in the 90s, so that he wouldn’t stand out too much and was eligible for any activities that took place.
He had been paying attention to the top three ranks all along.
The day he found out that Alexander Foster was Mr. F, he could hardly sleep all night.
He was pondering one question - why the excellent could be even more excellent.
At this moment, looking at Wanda Wesley, he felt a strange sensation spreading from his brain.
Then he became curious, wondering if the man she liked was also very strong.
So, he asked Chloe Collins, "Who is her boyfriend?"
Chloe Collins: "Ask her yourself."
Nathaniel smiled, "I’m too embarrassed to ask."
Chloe Collins pressed the space bar and continued to watch the movie.
Wanda Wesley was busy explaining to Robert Foster about her sudden disconnection and didn’t notice him.
Nathaniel touched his nose and left the room.
Next door, Sophia Spence was packing her things. Seeing the dejected Hawk Spirit, she said, "The ranking tournament is coming soon. You can find a replacement then."
Hawk Spirit: "That’s not what I am upset about at the moment!"
What upset him was that as a man, he had been slapped several times by a woman. His face felt like it had been thrown into the Pacific Ocean!
Sophia Spence rolled her eyes, not planning to continue consoling him.
She wasn’t feeling too well herself. Only by surpassing the ranking in this year’s tournament could she relieve her current frustration.
Just then, a thought popped into her head, and she suddenly looked up.
"Wanda Wesley got into Fire because she’s Rank 2, but what about Chloe Collins?"
Sherry Sullivan and Simon Griffin exchanged glances without saying anything.
Their faces didn’t look very cheerful.
Someone said, "Maybe she’s some rank too, but she’s even more formidable than Wanda Wesley. If Wanda Wesley is the second, there’s no reason for Collins to lag behind. And since Mr. F is the first, it seems she doesn’t belong to this ranking. So, how did she actually get into Fire?"
"Why don’t you go ask her? Maybe she got in by taking an exam."
"Exam? Even Professor Si has taken the exam. If he couldn’t get in, how could a student like her?" said the person, laughing.
Simon Griffin frowned, "It’s not the same!"
"Why not, Professor? Could you explain?"
Simon Griffin grumpily said, "In our time it was much harder. Now, the requirements have been relaxed."
Saying that, he left the room.

The flight landed at the Capital airport in Geraon past midnight.
As Chloe Collins left the airport, she saw a message from Albert Green sent a few hours ago, confirming that X-2 was real. The remaining small green bottles contained a special effect medicine for relieving headaches, and the box labeled "seeds" was initially identified as a trigger for some synthetic drug.
After chatting for a while, she got into a car with Alexander Foster, heading towards the Fosters’ residence.
Driver Old Quincy had been waiting for a while. Seeing the two of them, he happily waved his arm, "Second Young Master, Miss Collins."
Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes!
He stared closely at the fingers of both of them!
Wasn’t that... a ring?
Old Quincy, excited, his lips quivering slightly, quickly opened the car door for them.
The car drove off, merging into the traffic.
Ahead, Old Quincy was concentrating on driving. In the back seat were the two of them.
"Are you hungry?" Alexander Foster asked her.
Chloe Collins put her phone in her pocket, her hands stuffed in her coat’s pockets, her eyelids drooping, and said, "Tired."
The single word, when heard by Quincy, involuntarily conjured an image of Chloe Collins pouting and acting cute, which immediately brought a smile to his face.
"Mr. Quincy, speed up a bit."
"Alright!" he quickly agreed, excitedly.
