Chapter 1055
One of them thought for a moment, then couldn’t help saying, "Vice President, maybe we should invite the original design team back. Our leading product is still selling well, and they are the people who know it best. If there are any issues, they can fix it promptly."
Rosalind Taylor sternly rebuked, "They left on their own accord, and I should take them back? Isn’t that degrading myself? Is our big Taylor company going to fall apart without them?"
"But..."
"Mr. Anderson, since you have so many ideas, why don’t you start your own company? What’s your brilliance in refuting your superiors here?" Raine Nolan was furious.
This was the first time Mr. Anderson had been confronted by a young lady, and he was powerless to respond.
Unable to contain his anger, he got up and left, snorting coldly.
Rosalind Taylor said, "Mr. Anderson, once you walk out this door, it won’t be so easy to come back!"
Mr. Anderson turned back, unabashedly retorted, "I don’t care. If the Taylors can hire you as a vice president, I see that their days are numbered! I’m tired. I quit! Even a yellow-haired girl dares to blame me, what a joke!" He threw his work card on the ground and left.
This incident caused quite a stir within the company.
Mr. Anderson was an old established staff and a veteran, even though he didn’t hold shares. His departure resulted in not a few personnel being dissatisfied and doubtful of Rosalind Taylor.
For this reason, Rosalind Taylor was very upset and couldn’t eat much dinner.
Raine Nolan forked a dish for her, "Mom, stop thinking about these issues. They are a bunch of clueless people. If they don’t obey, just replace them."
Rosalind Taylor gave her a look to stop talking.
Tristan Collins noticed, asking, "What happened?"
Rosalind Taylor smiled and replied, "Nothing serious, everything is fine and going smoothly."
Before her words fell, her phone rang.
She looked at it, it was from the company, so she answered.
"What can’t wait until tomorrow?"
"Vice president, there’s trouble! Big trouble!"
Rosalind Taylor, hearing this panic-stricken voice, had a sinking feeling. She glanced at Tristan Collins hastily with a panic-stricken look and stood up to take the call.
"What happened, calm down and tell me."
"Phantasm Group has already sent someone to confirm after the design team left the company. I noticed then that their attitude was shaky. We’ve been trying to contact them for a contract signing these days, but they’ve not responded. Today, after the scandal involving our chairman, they’ve outright declared that they’re not signing the contract!"
"Vice President, Phantasm Group is our biggest customer! If they don’t sign a contract with us, we won’t be able to sell off the stockpile of products we’ve been holding onto!"
Rosalind Taylor raged, "The contract hasn’t been signed yet, who allowed you to produce so much at once!?"
"Vice president, wasn’t it an order from your office?!"
Rosalind Taylor was stunned for a moment.
Her mind was in chaos, "When did we ever authorize such a naive directive? How long have I been in office?"
"Anyway, without orders from the top, the factory wouldn’t produce that much. However, Phantasm Group had clearly expressed an interest in partnering up, and they had even sent a gift as a token of their intent. It was agreed that the contract would be signed within the week. It was almost all decided then, but the departure of the design team caused them to hesitate. Now with the news of the chairman’s affair and the plummeting stocks, they’ve directly terminated the verbal agreement!"
