Chapter 1054

Tristan Collins sneered, "The Taylors? That half-dead small company of yours?"

Rosalind Taylor didn’t get angry, and laughed, "That was the past. You’ve got the newspaper, haven’t you? Just look at its recent stocks. The Taylors is definitely going to be the dark horse of the year."

Tristan wasn’t too surprised. He knew about it, but still felt that a small company would always be a small company, incapable of making big waves.

After thinking for a while, he asked, "What do you do at the Taylors?"

Rosalind noticed his interest and chuckled, "I’m the Vice President. Although I am currently just a Vice President, given my brother’s character, it’s a matter of time before I become Chairman. Once I do, it could be beneficial to the Collinses."

Tristan was quiet.

The look in his eyes changed slightly when he gazed at Rosalind.

Noticing this change, Rosalind gained even more confidence.

Tristan thought for a while and said, "You can play if you want."

Rosalind was pleasantly surprised by how readily he had started viewing her differently.

That night, she had a restless sleep, caught between excitement and nerves.

The next day, she and Tristan woke up at the same time. They both dressed in their business suits, acting as if they were on an equal footing.

Tristan took a longer look at her than usual, and asked, "What’s the rush this early?"

Rosalind laughed, "As the newly appointed Vice President, I need to create a good image."

After thinking for a bit, she asked Tristan, "Honey, if I can make the Taylors successful, could you give me a company to gain some experience?"

The Collinses owned countless companies spanning the industries of real estate, entertainment, and construction. Giving her a small company to manage was like a piece of cake to them.

When Joy Taylor was still with them, he managed half of the assets and fought side by side with Tristan. But up till now, besides a child and a title, she hadn’t received anything else, making her far less important in comparison.

Hearing this, Tristan thought for a while and said, "We’ll see."

This response was much better than what Rosalind had expected.

She had asked several times before, only to be rejected on the grounds that she knew nothing about business.

Now that Tristan’s answer was less certain, she saw an opportunity. Her career ambitions were reignited.

For three consecutive days, she arrived at the Taylors bright and early, bringing along Raine Nolan.

News quickly spread among social circles about her transformation into a powerful career woman. Many wealthy ladies praised her abilities in their group chat.

Even Raine received praises from her high school and future college classmates, many of whom asked her for an internship.

She didn’t accept all of them, instead choosing to look at their background before deciding whether to help.

Two days later, Rosalind promoted Raine to her side, letting her tag along in various occasions to gain experience.

On this day, it was the fifth day since Chloe Collins left the company with her team.

Rosalind was in charge of the regular meeting, and Raine assisted her.

Suddenly, someone raised an issue, "Vice President, our recent orders have been declining. It seems like news of our core design team’s departure has spread, and many companies have abandoned their thoughts of cooperation due to this."

Rosalind furrowed her eyebrows, "By how much?"

"Compared to the previous week, there is a decrease of fifteen percent."

Rosalind said, "It’s okay, they’ll get used to it. We don’t need to intervene. Just wait until this storm passes. The impact won’t be that great."

Lifting her head, she noticed everyone’s worried expressions. She asked sternly, "Does anyone have a problem with that?"

The meeting room fell silent.
