Chapter 251: The Guilt.

"Okay, am done here," Valeria mentioned without a smile on her face, and with coldness, she flung her instruction book away.

She was highly irritated with the pictures being taken right now. Her eyes darted between Freya and her manager.

"Miss Grayson," she addressed Freya as Jocelyn, "It’s high time you tell us what going on here. Do you want to do this or not? Where did all of your talents go?" she questioned coldly.

Geal kept quiet on the couch behind Valeria and let his friend do her things. At this level of his anger, it would be best for everyone if he remains silent.

He fixed his eyes on Freya, she looked so unrealistic but that was also what made him so confused.

Even on shows, she looked this way and that was why he was drawn to her. What he and everyone in this room doesn’t understand was why she was slacking behind in little shots like this.

The funny thing was he can’t drop her off and pick another person up. His partnership brands already accepted her and highly recommend her.

"Am I not talking to you?!" Valeria thundered on Freya’s face and the poor lady flinched timidly.

Freya wanted fame and not this. Her gentle timid self can’t handle any of these. She passed her eyes to the mastermind of all of these.

If things keep on going this way, Freya wasn’t sure how long she would be able to keep on with this lie that eats her up with guilt.

Celia smiled at Freya. The type of smile that warns someone not to do anything stupid. Seems like the woman already saw through the girl’s eyes.

"She wants to do the show," Celia answered Valeria’s questions.

Valerie shot the woman a glare, "Let her speak. Did I not warn you to stop interrupting my conversations with her?"

Celia said nothing. She was utterly speechless by Valeria’s act and immediately felt insulted.

Valeria frowned, "Did I not warn you?" she asked again to be sure her message went across the last time.

Celia inside stumbled from anger over the girl’s disrespect. Staring back at Valeria, she finally answered, "You did,"

Valeria left brow shot up, "And?" she asked, "The next time you do this, consider your career over," she imperiled.

Celia frowned, "I_"

"Let her speak," Geal finally came in referring to Freya. "Do you want to do this shot?" he faced Freya.

Freya was satisfied at the question and Geal caught that gesture. She looked around the hall and all the eyes were on her. Geal took in a deep breath filled with certainty.

Surely this isn’t Jocelyn Grayson, he thought.

To ease her tension, he turned to the people in the hall, "Everyone out," he ordered them all. The girl doesn’t seem comfortable with them.

Freya gave him a look of gratitude. She took in a deep breath to prepare herself for what was next.

Everyone left the hall and Geal turned to Freya and Celia, "Joc_ I mean whatever your name is, I need absolute honesty from you," he started, "You’re not Jocelyn,"

Freya blinked, guilt left her heart a little when he said that. Now, saying the whole truth would be much easier.

"Yes, I am not Jocelyn," she agreed.

Celia was the first to let out a surprised gasp, "What atrocity! You tricked me into thinking you’re Jocelyn, what have you done with Jocelyn and why do you put on her face?" she slammed Freya with questions from all angles to shut the girl up and make her look more questionable before Geal.

Freya trembled when questions like that came to her. They did this together, so why did Celia act like she knows nothing about this?

"We_"

Once again, Celia cut her off, "Where’s my model?"

"SHUT UP, CELIA. For the last time, shut up," he yelled at the woman already seeing through her acts.

Valeria’s eyes on Freya tightened and the girl gulped. She was more than furious over all of these dramas. She left Logan and came here only to meet with this nonsense. When did Geal become such a softie to be easily tricked this way?

"I’m listening," Geal urged Freya to continue speaking.

"We did this together. And Celia, my manager. When Jocelyn informed her that she was busy in the hospital with a family member, she approached me and we had my face changed. She promised to be supportive and said it won’t be so hard and would come with a lot of fame." she sniffed and tears roll down her eyes. The guilt leaving her freed her muscles and she fixed her eyes into Geal’s own.

He was the kinder person here between all of the people in the room with her. She dare not look at Valeria at this moment. "I never expected playing Jocelyn would be this hard," she immediately fell on her knees and bowed her head with her tears dropping.

She wasn’t ready to lose this job, she still have to send money to her parents in the slump and they would be so disappointed in her if news like this leaks out about her.

"I also wanted this. My admiration for the model got the best of me and took away my rationality," she apologized with remorse.

Celia stood at her spot watching the scene with wide eyes. She was numb and unable to blink.

Valeria fixed a heated glare on Celia, "All these while, I guessed this," she laughed.

It pained her that she had been wasting her energy on imposters as big as these two. Not only her energy has been wasted but the whole team and now, they are considering shifting the day for launching.

Geal stared hard at the woman on the floor. He pondered over the issue for a while, "What’s your name? I mean your real name,"

Freya sniffed, "I’m Freya, Freya Cosper," she replied hurriedly as she tried not to choke on her tears.

Valeria clicked her tongue, "You agreed to be someone else and you’re bragging about it. Do you know how much of our time you have taken by agreeing with that woman," she charged towards Freya with good anger, "How dare you?"

She raised her hand and before it would land on Freya’s face, Geal held her hand from behind and drew her back softly.

"That’s enough, Valeria," he tried to coax her. "I would take care of this," he told her.

"You better do," she darted her angry eyes between Freya and Celia, "I don’t want to see them here the next time I return,"

Geal simply nodded, "First before you disappear again, help me contact, Miss Grayson,"

His whole deamonear showed how he had expected hearing words like this from them and that was also the reason why he told Valeria to watch them and she disappeared.
