Alfred cleared his throat the moment he caught a glimpse of the figure he had been waiting for. Pulling his facecap down to hide his face the more, he bowed his head with a low whistle.

The girl looked over her shoulders and she found him faster with the help of that low calling whistle and with snappy steps, she walked towards him.

She took the seat before him luxuriously as she looked around the restaurant and the people in it. Picking up the menu book, she ignored him first as she called for a waiter and ordered what she needed.

"What else did you find out?" Alfred asked hurriedly after the waiter left.

The girl eyes him, "Let me eat first," she snapped at him.

Alfred eyes tightened, "Give me your reports first," he ordered her.

The girl just rolled her eyes towards heaven and ignored him. Alfred immediately gritted his teeth in annoyance.

Pulling out an hundred bill bundles from his pant, he placed it before her, "Now, tell me what you have," he sneered at her.

The girl eyes brightened at the sight of the money. Stretching her hand forward, she packed the hundred dollar bill bundles and counted them.

"I hope this isn’t moving out of my payment?" she asked him while feeling the money on her palm. She love business like this.

Four thousand dollars just to speak up! Seems he would stick to this man, he brings big cash.

"Your pay is intact," he voice turned sterner, "Tell me all you got, I have other pressing issues,"

Yes - pressing issues like outsmarting Logan men. He had seen a lot of them around him for the past few days as they no longer cared about hiding their identity.

The girl stared at Alfred and with a nonchalant hair flip, she took her hair off her shoulder and drooped her reports, "I found nothing else,"

Alfred jaw clenched from immediate anger, "What do you mean?"

"I just said what I know, I did all I could. My first day there went smooth, I even had a long conversation with her friend but I found nothing," she said in a serious tune as she came down to business.

She went on, "Your daughter isn’t an easy person. She gives me no reason to talk to her,"

Alfred sighed.

"So? How about the liquid, did you inject it into her?"

Now, it was the girl turn to release a deep sigh, "As I had said, those two aren’t easy, I wasn’t able to so anything. I’m just a door nurse, it would had been better if I was among the nurses who clean her,"

Alfred brows twisted as his face turned ugly, "You mean Adele still breaths?" he asked in a stern mudersome voice.

The girl nodded slowly. "I warned you earlier but you never listened. You wouldn’t have killed that nurse but just sneak me in. That way, I could resign when I’m done with the deed but right now i’d be hold accountable if anything happens because I’m her door nurse and would have to give account of everyone who goes in and out of her ward," she let out an exergeratted tired sigh, "This is harder than I thought," she added.

Alfred lips parted in disbelief. Did this girl just tell him all these nonsense after making him to wait for days? His blood turned bloodlust immediately.

What was she saying? This wasn’t the first patient she would end and it wouldn’t be the last also so what’s with all these excuses?

"Cassandra, don’t you_" he trailed off when the waiter arrived with the girl tray and with a sassy look, the girl received the tray.

Taking two hurried full spoon veggies into her mouth, she chew fastly and swallowed a glass of water before looking at Alfred.

"You were saying?" she asked looking down at her food.

Alfred had a disgusted look on his face while he watched her eat that way with no manners. Seems it was time for him to end her.

"I want useful reports the next time unless_"

"Don’t you dare threaten me," the girl cut him off without looking up from her plate, "I can call the coups on you this instant," she added with a warning tune.

"Did you just_"

"I still kept the liquid safe with a recording video of our first conversation. Even if you do something to me right now, you won’t be free because someone else would send those to the cops and while I rot in my grave, you’ld rot in the cell," she said with a wide smile on her lips, "Isn’t that beautiful?" she asked.

She had planned all of these first hand. She have dealt with a lot of people like this man before her. People who would plot her death the moment she do not satisfy them and she have helped the society a lot by sending them to the coups without involving herself.

"Don’t try looking for that person, you won’t find her," she added seeing the calculating look in Alfred eyes while sipping her glass of water.

Alfred face dropped, "Are you blackmailing me right now?"

The girl munched her meat gracefully before nodding at him, "I am," she agreed, "Whereas, I already told you they knew Mr. Adams whereabouts but still, you have done nothing about that," she taunted him.

Mr. Adams blinked.

He had sleepless nights looking for that hospital and now he had found it, he could not believe he feel into the hands of someone he wasn’t supposed to mess with.

And then, he gritted his teeth. She was bluffing and the moment they leaves here, he would kill her. That way he would silence her forever.

He watched her eat while the girl just smiled at him from time to time. She want more money for her family and since he became a willing denor, she must make a fortune out of him like the rest.
